It's hard to focus on Kurama's words with the feelings Gojyo is throwing at him. He knew he was supposed to be a strong psychic, but he hadn't been picking up stuff like this at all so far. He's looking at Kurama's face, but all he can see is the image of car slamming into a body. It rattles him sharply, for reasons he can't explan, but he knows that he can't.

He can't let something like that happen again.

"Kurama, I think he's gonna try and kill himself," he whispers just before Gojyo takes off.

Then Kurama's gone, teleported out in front of him, and Kuwabara is left to pull himself together and chase after the poor, fractured god. When he gets close enough, he moves to catch Gojyo by the arms so he can hold him back.
