What: a changing of the guard

Where: Inanna's temple

[Around midday, Ren has finally gathered his thoughts together enough after the last few eventful days to send Eric this text:]
Eric-kun, I need to talk to you. Will you meet me in the courtyard please?
[And that is indeed where Ren will be waiting, sitting his his usual seat. The area around it is usually covered in papers and books and markers and snacks, but the last few days have included some nervous cleaning, so everything has been collected into a few neat stacks on the edge of the table in front of him.
Also on the table are two mugs, two pots, and a package of cookies. Ren himself is passing the time waiting for Eric by throwing playing cards at the cork-board opposite him and petting the black kitten curled up in his black lap.]
