[This is so exciting. Amaterasu is having a hard time keeping herself from bouncing on the spot. But at the warning, she nods resolutely, her face taking on a serious expression.

And she does just as she's told, holding the sparkler an arm's length away from herself. And not moving. Just staring at the sparkling tip.]

It... it's so pretty!

[Psyche can't help but smile at Amaterasu's enthusiasm. It's a little hard to believe she was the goddess of the Heavens, when she was like that.]

Feel free to wave it around if you want. It causes the sparks to make fun shapes.

[After a moment, however, Psyche couldn't help but ask, a bit curiously]

Um...have you seen fireworks before?

[Was it a common thing in Japan? In the Heavens? She wasn't sure.]

[After a moment of hesitation, she starts to wiggle the sparkler, marvelling at how the end leaves little trails of light in its wake.

Ah, but at the question, she looks at Psyche and shakes her head.]

No! Not before tonight, I've never seen fireworks.

I see. It couldn't hurt to make it a more regular thing, if you like it that much? I mean-

[It wasn't like she couldn't order it? Like she couldn't just stow some sparklers away for herself?]

-Some places already make it a regular thing. One place I know always used it to celebrate the start of the new year.

[One of the few things everyone in Prism - Lower and Upper-Plate - got.]

Oh! We celebrate the new year!

[She looks thoughtful.]

Maybe we could make fireworks part of that!

[Little does she know that they... already are. Poor, sheltered girl.]

[Fortunately, Psyche didn't know that. She nodded]

It couldn't hurt? It's a small thing, but it's something that's good for listing most people's moods.

[Though it helped that, at the moment, they weren't being attacked by a horde of the undead or a rogue god or anything. Which was...kinda nice, for once. After a moment]

Thanks for hosting this, though. It's been a really nice day.

[She is very excited about the prospect of hosting more fireworks shows, so she almost misses the gratitude. She lets out a soft gasp.]

Oh! It's my pleasure! I really, really like getting to know you all and... you deserve nice things!

Really?

[She asked, curiosity crossing her features. She wouldn't think of herself as 'deserving' anything, really, but the goddess' interest came as some bit of surprise. After a moment, though, she thought about it a little more and reasoned]

Oh, right....You probably don't really just, wander around a lot and just hang out compared to the other gods.

[She ran into gods and shinki all the time on the Near Shore along with the Far. Even Sheryl got away with arranging that hot spring trip before. Given Amaterasu's rank, opportunities like that were probably far less so.]

I'm usually confined to my home! So it's really lovely for me to get out and see people and talk about the things that they enjoy doing and such.

[For a moment, she looks up at the sky, smiling softly.]

I wish every day could be this nice.

Oh, I see.

[Psyche blinked, a little surprised by the wording. But then again, people used phrases like 'trapped at the office' a lot too, right? She wondered, while she replied with a small smile]

Well, I guess that's a good excuse to have more events like this. Just so you have an excuse to get out and interact and see more...as long as nothing weird happens.

[Like undead again.]

[Ah! This person gets it! She smiles brightly.]

Exactly!! I really like everyone and I want to get to know them better and have fun with them and make them smile as much as I can!

That doesn't sound like a bad goal, I guess.

[It sounded pretty simple and nice, at least. And there was probably worse ways to spend your 'afterlife' or 'godlife'. After a moment]

For what it's worth, I had fun today and I'm glad I finally 'met' you.

[She practically beams. Actually, that is to say, she LITERALLY beams, light coming off of her body in delight.]

Really?? Ah, I'm so glad!! And I'm really happy to meet you too!!

That's good-

[Psyche flinched a little, hand going up at the bright light, though she couldn't help but peak with awe. Well-that probably worked with the whole sun goddess thing....]

Oh wow....you really...look amazing right now...

[...! Oh she didn't mean to do that! After a moment, the light subsides significantly, though she is still glowing softly.]

I'm sorry! Sometimes I get really excited.
