1. Let’s Shop Till We Drop (The Near Shore)

[Money.

Lavi isn’t too surprised that there was still something out there that would require actual payment to buy stuff. It’s unfortunate, too, since Lavi’s been eying a nice-looking scarf that’s practically screaming his name.

Going out to the Near Shore was new to him, too, since Lavi’s sure that it’s too dangerous to get too close to the humans.

But right now: he needed to find some way to get money if he wanted to buy that scarf.

Guess it’s time to do a little job hunting.]

2. Learning From Our Gods (Library | Far Shore)

[Anyone who has seen Lavi’s latest post on the network would easily be able to find the redhead in the library, scanning through every book that he can get his hands on.

It’d be a surprise for anyone to see piles of books surrounding him.

Lavi’s currently hiding behind a wall of books he made, scraps of papers surrounding him as he jots down notes.

Anyone who ventures close enough would see that it’s just books on general history, countries, and even some languages.

Too bad someone will need to find a way to actually call his attention, though.]

3. A Date with a Stranger (Odin's Temple | Far Shore) (Closed to Niles)

[The tenth. Odin's temple, 8 pm. Don't be late.

It was the text that savidicus had sent him, arranging their 'date' so to speak. Lavi's not sure if he even wants to call it a date, but his curiosity was piqued and he wanted to meet this other shinki.

What's even better was Lavi's lack of knowledge if there was any sort of special protocol for entering another god's territory, but he couldn't let the man wait now, could he?

A quick scan as he tries to pinpoint anyone out before he calls out:]

[ Itachi hadn't thought about exploring the library yet, but on a particularly boring day, he decided he may as well give it a try. As a shinki, there were plenty of things to learn, things that his god didn't want to talk about. It only made him more suspicious about his whereabouts and life as a shinki. Plus, he didn't know much about this particular world. Some things, like a bit of the technology, had been very foreign to him. ]

[ He noticed the stack of books last minute. He bumped into them, and they came crashing down--he was going to pick them up, but before those books hit the ground, he realized they had landed on a person. ]

[ Whoops. ]

[It's fortunate that Lavi wasn't too deep into his reading when he hears the books being knocked over.

Quickly, he jerks back, eye wide even though he didn't quite manage to avoid one or two books from falling on him.]

Ow!

[candyconsumption]

[ The books being knocked over reveals the person that was behind it. He's silent for a moment, at first not sure what to do... before he picks up one of the books. ]

...Forgive me. It was an accident.

You're not too badly hurt, are you?

[A few minutes before Lavi looks over at him.

He blinks once as he rubs his head.]

No, I'm fine.

[A dismissive gesture.] Did you need one of these books?

[ His red eyes glimpse down to the books that we still upright. ]

Not in particular. [ He does pick one up, however, looking to the cover. ] ...History...

Are you doing research?

[lostinshadows]

I am.

[A glance at the book the other man is holding.]

It's quite fascinating to learn what you can from books.

[candyconsumption]

I haven't read much since arriving here. [ He opened the book, flipping through the pages. ] Though...

I'm not 100% sure if I was much of a reader to begin with. I can't remember.

[His words pique his interest.

So this guy is a shinki, too?

Lavi discards the thought quickly as it came.]

Well, it's always nice to read once in a while. [He gives a nod to the book he was holding.] History can be a bit boring, though.

[candyconsumption]

[ When he says it can be boring, he sets the book down. ]

You seem to be rather adept at knowing your material. Do you have any sort of suggestions?

[lostinshadows]

[a soft hum as Lavi looks through the books surrounding him.]

How do you feel about mythology?

[candyconsumption]

Mythology... [ Something about it rouses interest in him. He offers a nod of the head. ] I think that would be an interesting subject to know more about. Especially since we are dealing with gods.

[lostinshadows]

It'll definitely help explain some more about the gods that reside here.

[He tilts his head.] Of course, there's a wide variety of mythology. Is there anything you'd be particularly interested in?

[candyconsumption]

Sasuke-sama's... god name is Kali. Do you know what kind of mythology that stems from? [ This man seemed to have a wide variety of knowledge. ] Ah...

My name is Itachi by the way.

[lostinshadows]

Kali? [A thoughtful look.] That would be from Hindu mythology.

[He smiles.]

The name's Lavi. Nice to meet you, Itachi.

[candyconsumption]

[ He has a nice smile. Really, anyone who smiles has a nice smile, in his book. ]

Lavi. [ He greeted. He seemed to consider what was said. ] Hindu mythology...

Yes, then. I'd like to try reading someone on that, then. [ A pause. ] ...Are... you a god? Or...

[Lavi nods, getting up from his spot in order to find the book on Hindu mythology.

He's sure he had one somewhere.

As he searches for the book among the piles he has, Lavi perks a bit at the question, a sheepish grin on his face.]

Nope, I'm a shinki, too.

[candyconsumption]

I see. [ He watches as the other rummages through the volumes of text. ] Is that why you are doing so much research?

[lostinshadows]

Yes and no.

[Aha!

Taking out the book (ignore the thickness of it), Lavi hands it over to Itachi.]

After I came across the library, I guess you could say I fell in love with all of the books here. [He grins.] There's so much you can learn from them.

[candyconsumption]

[ Whoa--he's surprised at how big...and heavy... it is. He weighs it in his hands for a moment, before looking back to the other. ]

An instant affinity. [ He looks down at the book. ] Perhaps it is something related to your memories. [ And back up at Lavi. ] I know I've certainly found my own.

[Memories?

Lavi blinks once, carefully hiding what his true thoughts are as he looks at Itachi.]

You've recovered your memories?

[candyconsumption]

Just trivial things. [ He opens the book, thumbing through the pages. His red eyes flicker across it, taking it all in. ] ...But I've heard that us shinki can recall anything... given enough time.

[lostinshadows]

That's interesting. I never knew that before.

[He gestures Itachi to take a seat.]

Feel free to sit.

[candyconsumption]

Thank you. [ He tucks his long ponytail to the back, taking his seat. He's still impressed (and a touch overwhelmed), about how many books are surrounding this man. ]

If you're a shinki... who is your god?

[Lavi nods, moving some books aside to give Itachi more room.

He picks up another book, opening it.]

Hel, the Norse Goddess of the Underworld.

Another deity of the Underworld... [ He mused on that. ] ...I have a friend who is called Hades. Though... I am unsure what Norse means. It seems that many of the pantheons were not a part of my world. I do not have any general knowledge of these.
