[...Well, he likes doing it anyway, so... He shuffles his way over, ignoring how the shinki attending the booth just sighs at the repeat customer. Taking one of the stringed hooks, he crouches down.]

[And he starts to carefully fish out a balloon, all patience. It takes a bit, but he seems to have an easier time than some.]

[Elise watches him intently, as if he were doing some sort of magic trick. She holds her breath as the balloon leaves the water and claps when he succeeds.]

Wow! You're really good at that!

[She turns to the shinki running the booth, raising a hand.]

[As she's passed a string and hook of her own, Chikusa just starts toying with the yoyo he has. Apparently, he's more than content to go quiet, simply watching the water ripple.]

[Her face takes on a determined expression as she very carefully positions the hook. Little to the right..... little to the left....

Clearly there is intense concentration going on. After a long moment, she goes for it, hooking one of the balloons and tugging it upward. For a second, it looks like she may have gotten it. But then disaster strikes!]

[With a small splash, the balloon tumbles back into the water. She pouts a little.]

[Chikusa only looks up at her small dismayed exclamation, blinking into awareness again. Glancing down at the rippling water, his fingers go still.]
