[Thankfully Davesprite doesn't really give two fucks about it being phrased as a demand rather than a request, because hey, any interest in rap battles is good interest, right. He raises a taloned hand placatingly, taking a moment to consider likely candidates for where they could catch a good rap battle.]

Usually they're underground sorts of things, certain clubs at certain times of the week kinda deal. I'd have to do a little digging around the local music scene to find out, but if I do turn up anything you'll be the first to know.

[There's a pretty intent look on his face there, because he actually really does want to go watch a rap battle sometime now that the idea's come up.]

[That...is an interesting question, and Davesprite's face takes on a more serious set that it's hard to pick between feigned or genuine. It'd be a lot easier to answer that question if he knew how the whole common language thing worked here.]

Depends how open they are to an orange bird guy spitting rhymes in English. It's not always about understanding the lyrics as much as the flow, but it's kind of hard to respond right if you have no fucking clue what's coming at you.

[Though he wouldn't be too surprised if the Japanese underground rap scene involved some English fluency. It'd probably make for interesting change-ups in flow.]
