[Naoto blinks at her for a moment. Finger guns? Well, this girl certainly seems like the bubbly, carefree type. Naoto smiles back, friendly and polite, as she extends her own hand and shakes.]

Naoto Shirogane. It's nice to meet you, Hajime.

[It then registers that Hajime had essentially asked Naoto be her shooting instructor.]

I'm not sure I'm exactly qualified to be a teacher, but I can at least try and show you what I did?

[Honestly, a lot of it really had just felt fluid and natural. Movement and posture that Naoto had taken without much conscious thought. So, she'll try to break down the parts that she at least felt cognizant of while doing them.]

The first thing is stance. I stood with my dominant foot back and pointed straight out in front of me.

[Naoto demonstrates herself, turning her body side-face with her right foot back. Her left foot facing down the stall's range.]

My front foot was facing towards the target, like so.

[Hajime watches with awe as Naoto demonstrates and gives her the much needed advice. The Stall runner also seems fairly grateful to have a break from being the victim of all those misses.]

Oh wow...even your feet come into play. You really gotta put your whole body, everything into it! Naoto-san, you're too modest!

[Naoto is a good teacher, the amount of detail there is into everything she does just to hit a target really is amazing. Guns aren't really Hajime thing, shes more of a scissors kind of girl but this is still really interesting. She enjoys seeing what other people know and what their interest are. Naoto is no exception.]

[That compliment gets a soft, grateful smile from Naoto, but she otherwise waves it off. It really didn't seem like a big deal. All she really was doing was trying to repeat what she had done earlier step-by-step and convey it to Hajime. Still, it was kind of fun to be in a pseudo-teaching position like this.]

Yes, you want to get your full body engaged for the sake of balance. These cork guns didn't have much kick to them, but it's like anything you do that generates force, you want to make sure you have proper weight distribution.

[Naoto next demonstrates how she held the rifle in her hands, her dominant shoulder back, with the rifle butt rest squarely against her shoulder, her elbow up and out. Her non-dominant hand cradling the underside of the rifle.]

Make sure you keep the end of the rifle against your shoulder like this. You don't want it slipping down your arm or your chest.

[Naoto concludes by briefly explaining the importance of keeping both eyes open and on the target, and then that's it. Explanation over, Naoto again offers the cork rifle to Hajime.]
