Note: The party Hajime made a network post about. She also went too all the shrines she could find and dropped off flyers for it. So even if someone doesn’t know about it or her, newbies and all, are free to come! Feel free to make your own top levels.




Ten in the morning; everything is set and ready to go! The pool is sparkling, the sun is out and it’s warm. A perfect day for pool party. The doors to the shrine are open and welcoming for anyone to just walk in. Colorful balloons and bright streamers decorate the area along with a big hand painted ‘WELCOME!’ sign. In the pool are various floaties and noodles. Nearby there are two large open ice chests filled with multi-colored water-balloons. A few water guns lay next to the chests along with arm-floaties, life vests and goggles. Just in case!

Around the pool, lounge chairs are set up for anyone to use. Various colorful towels hang off a few. A small hot tub is to the right of the pool, bubbling and inviting.

Away from the pool and by the shaded area are two tables lined up with various food and drink. Paper plates, silverware and cups are on it inviting anyone to take from it. While it’s no Heaven’s Banquet, the host did try to fill it with different food and drink so everyone can find something they like. From pizza and bbq to teriyaki sticks and sweets. Octopus-cut hot dogs can also be found with smiling faces! But there's also some space for people to put their own food, just in case.

In the shaded area by the backdoor is a laptop connected to a pair of decent sized speakers playing music fitting the occasion. Nothing too fancy. Though there is a unplugged microphone nearby perhaps for some kind of singer later on?

Oh! That one would be tasty and healthy.

[Although, to be honest, that wasn't something she had thought about much while she was here. With so many parties with an abundance of food, she'd gone straight to desserts each time.]

Have you been here for a long time now? Well...here as in..

[To try and demonstrate what she's saying she waves her arms around to signify that she's talking about the world they were pulled into rather than just the pool party. If he can understand her non verbal cues that is.]

[She's so innocent. Ludger can tell by the way she talks and moves. Like a little girl in the body of a teenager. It's actually nice to see that. He shakes his head.]

A week or so.

[Oh! That response brings a bright smile to her face.]

[Well, somewhatly new. A lot can be done in a week so he probably was a lot more experienced than her but at least she didn't feel completely lost.]

Have you explored much around here? I want to go have a look at the other temples but I'm not sure if the other Gods would mind if I just showed up to introduce myself and talk to them.

[She found herself talking a little bit more than normal when she's with someone that had so few words to say.]

[Very chatty, and she seems to be picking up the pace with this conversation. It's not something Ludger dislikes. Though he wonders if this girl was nervous or getting more comfortable with him. It's at times like this he wonders if he should be more talkative... but he's sure that his face is enough of a conversation holder for him.

He laughs softly before shaking his head.]

Not much. [As for the other part-] Ask them?

[It was a combination of both, really. She was getting confortable with speaking to him but was most likely speaking more to make up for some of his quiet. Either way, she was finding this to be a pleasant conversation. His expressions were rather interesting when he thought about things.]

Where do you stay...? Is it a pyramid covered in plants as well?

[Although, it did seem like each home was slightly different to the next.]

[Once more he shakes his head. Hmmm... how would he describe his new home? It was rustic, in the woods, quiet, has a huge set of stairs, and was a nice place to live.

What was the word for that thing he saw in the Near Shore? Oh!]

Shinto shrine!

[If Mai had her memories, she would know exactly what that was as her family lived in a shrine like that with a large tree out the front. Unfortunately, none of that rang true right now.]

That sounds like it would be really nice! Would it be okay if...

[She hesitated for a moment. She didn't want to just invite herself over but she really wanted to visit and see what everyone else's homes were like. They were all so different.]

...I visited to have a look one day?

[Hmm... well, Ludger should ask Roxas... but Mai is really nice, and maybe it'd be okay? He'd take responsibility if something went wrong, of course!]

[She's so very happy about this she's clasped her friends in front of her chest and has a wide grin over her expression. She's starting to make friends with people here and it was like being invited over after school. Similar to that kind of feeling.]

I can't wait to see the kind of place you stay in. Everybody has such a unique place and it seems to really reflect the personality of the God.

YUP. THAT'S APPROPRIATE. Roxas always looks so mysterious and distant with his coat and hood that people probably thought he was some mystic being. Ludger knew better. Ludger knew his god was just a kid who had no childhood and is very new to some of the ways of humans.

The temple was perfect.]

And if you wanted to you could come visit where I live! It's mostly plants and flowers.

[She pauses for a moment to think about it.]

Also, you'd need to stay away from the ones around the back, they'll try to eat you if you aren't careful. But they're mostly really nice and pretty to look at.

[.... plants that eat people. No thanks. He'll stick to the front of the temple as he nods.

Please don't tell him there's worse there than people eating plants.]

There's also a really nice garden with really friendly plants. Or well, the normal kind that don't move or do anything strange.

[She's clearly been around Kurama for too long if she's starting to think these plants are all unique from each other somehow.]

[HE'S EVEN MORE WORRIED NOW THAT SHE IS SO CALM AND COLLECTED ABOUT THIS.]

[She's going to remain calm and collected since she sees these plants every single day now and sometimes multiple times a day. At least she hasn't been bitten yet. ]

But if you're interested in the bitey plants, I'm sure Kurama-sama wouldn't mind if you wanted to try feeding them too.
