What: Pool Party
When: March 28th 10am onward
Where: Neith’s place
Note: The party Hajime made a network post about. She also went too all the shrines she could find and dropped off flyers for it. So even if someone doesn’t know about it or her, newbies and all, are free to come! Feel free to make your own top levels.
Ten in the morning; everything is set and ready to go! The pool is sparkling, the sun is out and it’s warm. A perfect day for pool party. The doors to the shrine are open and welcoming for anyone to just walk in. Colorful balloons and bright streamers decorate the area along with a big hand painted ‘WELCOME!’ sign. In the pool are various floaties and noodles. Nearby there are two large open ice chests filled with multi-colored water-balloons. A few water guns lay next to the chests along with arm-floaties, life vests and goggles. Just in case!
Around the pool, lounge chairs are set up for anyone to use. Various colorful towels hang off a few. A small hot tub is to the right of the pool, bubbling and inviting.
Away from the pool and by the shaded area are two tables lined up with various food and drink. Paper plates, silverware and cups are on it inviting anyone to take from it. While it’s no Heaven’s Banquet, the host did try to fill it with different food and drink so everyone can find something they like. From pizza and bbq to teriyaki sticks and sweets. Octopus-cut hot dogs can also be found with smiling faces! But there's also some space for people to put their own food, just in case.
In the shaded area by the backdoor is a laptop connected to a pair of decent sized speakers playing music fitting the occasion. Nothing too fancy. Though there is a unplugged microphone nearby perhaps for some kind of singer later on?

[Of all the food spread out, Hajime is probably the most proud of the little octopus-cut hot dogs. They were the easiest thing to make but also one of the most fun. From closed mouth smiles to big gaping smiles. Each one seems to have a different one.
When she notices someone step by her, she holds one of the hot dogs up with a pair of chopsticks]
Isn’t it cute? Look! It’s happy to see you too!
B ) Splashing in
[Once she’s sure she’s greeted almost everyone she could spot upon their arrival, Hajime is jumping into the pool. She didn't buy this pink polkadot-bikini to just look cute. Nope! Swimming is the main thing here! She may be a host but she wants to swim around as much as anyone else. Standing by the deeper end, Hajime takes a few bouncy steps back before jumping forward with an excited yell as she flies into the water. Though she is careful to not hit or land anyone, she doesn’t mind giving them a good splash!]
C) Hello thar
[After swimming around for a bit, Hajime is having a blast. Good food, good company and throwing that into a party? Who wouldn’t enjoy themselves? She’s making her rounds around the pool before stopping behind one of the many guests. It’s hard to recognize someone from behind sometimes but it doesn’t stop her from coming up behind said person, putting her hands over their eyes.]

[The cheerful giggling voice probably gives her away but it’s still fun all the same.]

[ That honestly a great way to greet someone, really! Otegine likes food and cute animals like any self-respecting spirit without much of man-pride to defend. He remembers Hajime's face from Hinamatsuri and them sharing some of the food, so seeing her again is nice. She's a friendly person-- who wouldn't want to see someone like that again? that said, while it looks cute, Otegine switches to being a little skeptical of her little octo-snack ]

He wonders if he was fooled by Vector. Or maybe it was like Yukine said - that Vector knew he would disappear. Yuto doesn't know and it hurts. He doesn't know what happened to Yuya either. He doesn't know if he'll ever see them again. But if he dwells on these thoughts, he'll only hurt Hajime and that's not something he wants.
Trying to push away his saddness, Yuto looks around searching for familiar faces. He spots Hajime quickly enough and walks up to her. When she speaks to him, he only looks at the octopus-cut hot dog with a frown, then his gaze shifts to the rest of those little octopuses. Each one has a smile on his face, which in turn makes Yuto frown further.]

[Truth be told, Roxas doesn't know what one does at a pool party. But parties in this world come with new and curious foods that he's never been exposed to before. He can't help but find himself curious enough to veer in the direction of the tables to inspect what exactly there is.
One may find him either scrutinizing pizza, not recognizing it in this form because he was given a very different impression of what it should be like in Monad, or apparently giving little a little octopus hot dog a staredown. Definitely new and strange foods today]
II. Poolside
[Judging by the full length black coat, Roxas had no intention of actually going into the pool. The closest he gets is crouching near the edge, watching the water in ponderous silence. Just a short figure on a dark coat looking at the pool, entirely stark still.
Not strange at all, right? He sure doesn't think so, watching an inner tube fashioned after a sea horse drift across the water]

[Slaine isn't going anywhere near the water. Instead he's picked a nice shaded spot, tugged a lawn chair to that location, and hunkered down with a book. Ever since Elsa pointed out books relevant to his interests, he's just been finding more, and he's right in the middle of what he considers a fascinating chapter.
This naturally means extremely technical detail about cross-breeding plants in order to cultivate certain traits, if anyone cares to look over his shoulder. Regardless of whether one does or doesn't get a good look at that heavy text, his nose is in that book and he's apparently off in his own little world reading]
II. Refreshments
[Eventually Slaine makes his way over to where the refreshments are arranged. Rather than going for any food in particular, though the sweets draw a lingering glance, he's sifting through one of the coolers and inspecting canned soft drinks. No matter how many labels he looks over he's definitely not familiar with any of them.
A curious thing, that. Something he notes for later consideration, eventually selecting a strawberry-flavored beverage. Unfortunately when he opens it, it sprays everywhere - which is to say, all over him. Well, now his shirt's wet, sticky, and bright pink. Great.
He puffs out a sigh and turns his attention to looking for some napkins]
III. Water Guns
[Although Slaine recognizes a gun when he sees one, he's never seen one made out of plastic, he's rather sure. He turns the toy about thoughtfully, taking in the bright colors and structure with far more consideration than a toy should really warrant.
Once he moves on to the mechanisms that make it work, however... he accidentally fires right at a passerby]
Ah- [He might just be more alarmed than the other party, it's entirely possible] My apologies, let me get you a towel-

The first thing he noticed, besides the giant pool of course, was the table with food on it, and as he was walking towards it he noticed Slaine having a fight with a can of something pink.
Zoro did the one thing everyone would do in that situation, and laughed his ass off.]

Sonic doesn't make an obvious entrance. He's got a plan, a goal, so he sneaks his way in and quickly shimmies his way up to the top of the tallest palm tree. It's not the most comfortable sniper-perch he's ever been in, but he's prepared to work with what he's got. And what he's got is a high powered squirt gun that he's brought himself. He's even got a couple spare tanks strapped to his thigh so he doesn't have leave his roost too often.
Now, it's just a matter of picking off unsuspecting targets (namely, other people with squirt guns or water balloons, or people near the pool).
[ B ] Poolside
He has to come down from the trees eventually to refill his tanks. Now that he's not obscured by tree fronds, it's clear that he's not wearing a swimsuit - he's wearing a wet suit with purple sleeves that covers him from his elbows to his knees. Unfortunately, crouching by the pool with one tank in the water means he's completely vulnerable to anyone out for revenge.
Or looking to buy a hit on someone. He's currently taking payment in the form of popsicles.
[ C ] Snack time!
Speaking of food, at some point, he's acquired a pair of sunglasses and a blue Hawaiian shirt, and he parks himself right in front of the teriyaki sticks.

[Hajime had said "bring things", so he did! Early on, Ren can be found at the refreshment table, cheerfully arranging a tray of homemade cookies (homemade by someone else, not him) and a tray of mochi ice cream.
In front of the cookies, he's also left a pen and a note that says:

[So Ren is not really dressed for swimming (although he is, at least, wearing shorts and sandals), because he's...not really planning to. But it's fine for just hanging out around the pool and especially for playing games with other people.
Game the first involves sneaking about with a beach ball and then popping up in front of anyone who looks like they might not be busy with anything right then with a cheerful smile on his face.]

[There's a pink-haired woman in a revealing pink bikini approaching Ren with casual steps, a hand idly resting on her hip with a smirk. It's been a while since she played a sport, but surely her athleticism can be used as an asset.

[Are you floating in the water? Serene and blissfully unaware of your surroundings? Whatever floatie you are using has just been targeted, and Takuto is coming to commandeer. When you hear his shout, it means you're about to be capsized!]

[He's not exactly guarding the ice chest full of balloons, but he's definitely staying close to it, and if he thinks you're a good target, he'll throw one at you with a laugh and a grin. It's no fun if you don't know who to blame, after all! And he thought ahead--he's already wearing a pair of goggles.]

[Ayumu's currently lazing on one of the lounge chairs in a newly purchased black swimdress and matching shades. Her hair is damp and loose after an earlier dip in the pool, framing her face and shoulder in tousled waves. A paper plate full of teriyaki sticks and BBQ sits on a small table beside her along with some kind of floofy looking fruit drink.
She's pretty still in her chair. Maybe she's fallen asleep? It's hard to tell with those shades. At any rate, she seems perfectly content to bask in the sun like a cat. Someone seems to be adapting to the goddess life very well.]
B. Hot Tub
[At some point, Ayumu abandons her spot by the pool to try out the hot tub. It reminds her a little of an onsen or the bath at her temple. Regardless, it catches her eye. She can currently be found resting in it, arms draped along the back of it. Once again, it's hard to tell if she's awake or not because she's wearing those shades again. There is, however, plenty of room to join her in the tub, should anyone wish to.]

Hot Tub
[Axel, in a pair of blue swimming trunks and a black T-shirt, sits down on the edge of the hot tub to stick both of his legs in. It turns out his legs (and arms, and everything but his face and that sliver of skin that shows over his zipper at his collar) are haven't-seen-the-sun-in-a-decade fishbelly pale.
He leans back, soaking up a few extra rays.]

Come cheer a girl up? She's just standing in the water right now, but given it's Yuuki, it's probably easy enough to coax her into playing - or even a race!]

[Unlike at the parties before, she's just nibbling at a few cookies this time. But she'll actually brighten up when people approach her now that she's shaken off the worst of the gloominess.

[Is that really Axel? It might be hard to recognize him for anybody who's used to the six feet of dark hooded coat with dark boots and dark pants tucked into them.
His knee-length shorts are still dark (blue) and so is his T-shirt (black, with just a little bit of the character on his chest visible above the neckline) but that's it. Good thing he's got the distinctively fire-red hair to pick him out by.
He's also really, really pale on all that usually-never-exposed-to-sunlight skin, and he's sprawled out snoring on a lounge chair. A keen eye might notice his arms are already starting to turn red.
A nice person would wake him up and introduce him to the idea of sunscreen.
For a not-so-nice person, this could be the perfect opportunity to run by and completely douse him with a water balloon. Look at that chump just lying there!]

[ Yes, Genos is here. He wish he wasn't, because it's quite out of place to have cyborg around a pool... but since his god insisted. He's standing dangerously close to the pool, gauging intensely the quality of few swimming rings he's holding.
If anyone who met him earlier wondered if it's just his arms that are made of metal, then the question might be answered by just looking at him. Along the tank top, he's wearing shorts, so it's clear his legs are just as artificial as his arms. ]

[ Satoshi isn't necessarily one to wait around for someone to tell him to dive right in. No, actually, he's taken off at a wild run and jumps into the pool, making a big splash for anyone near and around him. He seems just as happy to start playing with anyone as well.

[Move over octo-dogs! Time for everyone's favourite snack treat, cookies! Rise's been scouring the internet and books for the best possible recipe out there all day!
...And came up with nothing.
Well not nothing as she trots out the house in a cute pink bikini holding up a large platter of cookies. There's tons of different kinds like chocolate chip, matcha and white chocolate, strawberry flavoured, you name it.
Just be warned that Rise doesn't exactly follow the recipe exactly. She does to an extent for all the necessary ingredients, but definitely has a penchant for adding things in.
Still, she'll approach you with a sweet smile. It's nice to see everyone enjoying themselves here!]

2) Poolside
[Are you a wallflower? Do you like standing by the poolside staring at the water, thinking of longingly jumping in but too nervous to do it?
If so, Rise's your girl! All you have to do is stand by the pool looking nervous or lost or whatever have you, and all she'll do is stride up to you, hook your arm and playfully pull you towards the water.]
Come on! You'll feel a lot better once you're in!
[Or if she knows you, she might also just try to push/pull/shove you in there without warning. Have fun with that too.]
C) Show time! Are you ready?
[Living here meant that Rise was fully aware of the audio equipment that was available. She found herself often looking up songs in her room, studying lyrics and some music theory in her spare time, but the opportunity to perform in front of others?
Initially she's thrilled about it! There's something exciting and invigorating about it. It's a chance to feel like she can really do something positive and fun and impressive.
But the moment Rise sets up the equipment, chooses the song and stands up in front of everyone, there's a swell of nervousness inside her.
The music starts and she stalls, seemingly having stage-fright. Will you boo her off stage or encourage her instead? Or even have a little duet with her? That might help too.]
