[Open] Let's just live
Who: Hitsugaya and YOU
What: Red lilies, soccer, training, and shenanigans.
When: August 11-18
Where: Both shores and wherever else
Warnings: None at the moment
[A. The Red Lilies Speak]
[There are red lilies that seem to have appeared near the canals, plenty of them to catch Toushirou’s attention from where he was busy soaring through the skies. It eventually stands out to him enough that he drops down beside them.
Anyone walking nearby might cross paths with him as he inspects the lilies, but it’s also not hard to miss the way his expression changes to one of discomfort as if he’s hearing something no one can’t.
It seems to be enough to have him look somewhat troubled, if not pained.
However, the expression turns blank when he hears someone approaching and looks over at them.]
[B. Chase the Stars]
[Surprise, surprise.
Anyone who happens to explore the Near Shore today may be surprised to find a certain god playing soccer with a group of young teenagers (or kids). It’s a good day for sports, after all, and even Toushirou will admit that.
Feel free to watch or join in somehow.
Because when the game ends (more will come), Toushirou will walk off a bit to the side and give any watchers a look.]
…What?
[C. A Dream of A Dream, Evenings]
[It’s night, probably around the time where people might be sleeping, but Toushirou definitely isn’t.
Instead, if anyone happens to look up at the sky, there’s an ice dragon that appears, glistening in the moonlight. However, blink and it’s gone, pieces of ice falling from the air and downwards.
Standing below where the dragon appeared is Toushirou, whose eyes were fixated above him before he holds out his sword to the side, the blade beginning to emit faint wisps of cold air.]
[D. Practicing Some Magic - Closed to Tsuzuki]
You want to practice magic.
[His tone seems to hold some sort of something there, but he doesn’t look much reluctant as he looks at the shinki.]
On what exactly?
[E. Sneaky Nights - Closed to Botan]
[If there’s one thing that’s initially hard to do with Toushirou, it’s sneaking into somewhere he would currently call a home. So, upon sensing a familiar spiritual energy in his temple, Toushirou follows it and sighs softly when he notices Botan.
He crosses his arms, a hint of a frown on his face.]
You could at least check in with me first.
[F. A Game of Tag - Closed to Goten]
[It was a game of tag.
Toushirou, for once, suggested such a thing to Goten after the young shinki but with a few rules: they have to hide their energy from each other and are allowed to use their own powers.
It was more of a game of hide and seek, really, since the chosen location for the game was the forest at the base of Toushirou’s temple. Regardless, he does keep his own end as he keeps his senses out for the shinki.]
Come on, Goten. Don’t lose this early in the game.

Eeeeee
Yet the whole image certainly ends up looking like she's giving the captain a reproachful look. No, she's just a little tired. ]
It was late, so I didn't want to risk disturbing you or anyone else.
[ Which is why she let herself in. Without using the door or anything. Then again, it's not so different for spirits in the physical world, now was it? She just took advantage of an ability she was aware of having. ]
no subject
[There's some concern as to how she's gotten in since nothing seems to have been unlocked.
At the same time, while he did offer the young reaper solace in his own temple, he wonders just how bad it is that she's finally taken up his offer to come over to be able to sleep.]
no subject
[ Then again, it was very much between Botan and Grell as to how this naming thing had happened in the first place. For now, at least.
Until the thread actually gets to that point, that is.]Ever since Grell brought back one of those lilies, she's been acting more unhinged than usual. I was going to ask William for some insight tomorrow, after some rest.
[ She's actually quite tired. To the point where her body was getting ready to push for that long, recovering, sleep that Botan had described to Hitsugaya a while ago. Luckily, it's only happened once before since the god had done his restoration thing. At the same time, Botan's just tired in general, from all of the changes. ]
no subject
[...What?
Upon hearing that it's Grell who's Botan's god, it somehow makes sense. But he can see how tired she is, and he sighs softly.]
...You're free to take a room instead of sleeping on the couch.
no subject
[ Which Botan doesn't see too much problem with, aside for the terrible stench when going in or out of the temple grounds. Luckily when you fly, you can get high enough to bypass it. ]
Thanks, but I wouldn't want to accidentally go into someone else's room. The couch is okay for now.
[ 'For now' indeed. Though it might have to do more with Botan being tired enough to just see a bed and not think about who was in it. ]
no subject
But the 'for now' stands out and he just kind of gives her a look.]
I have plenty of rooms.
[So, even if you pass out on the couch, he'll move you to a room, anyway.]
no subject
But hey, with the look, she can tell what's past the words he said. ]
... You'll have to show me which ones are being used already.
[ Just show the first empty room and toss her in there. ]
no subject
He gives a nod, gesturing for her to follow.]
It won't take long.
no subject
Pulling herself off the couch, Botan goes to sleepily follow behind. She's even hugging her pillow against her, as if making sure she doesn't drop it along the way. ]
If there's really a lot of rooms, I'm sure it won't.
[ At least it'll give him a chance to feel a pulse of what was draining the young reaper's energy so consistently. It won't be long or happen multiple times, but maybe it's fortunate that it happens while under his roof. ]
no subject
What is it?
It might be what's draining her, but since she's staying the night, he'll be able to keep track of it better. But he doesn't say anything; the walk itself only takes a couple of minutes before he opens up a room and gestures her to go inside. It's comfy enough for her to sleep with no problem.]
Here.
no subject
Botan was clearly a young reaper. That pulse definitely wasn't.
Pausing at the door to cover her yawn up with the pillow, she just says one other thing before shuffling in. ]
Thanks again, Hitsugaya. I really do appreciate it.
no subject
Just get some sleep, Botan.
[It looks like he'll be pulling an all-nighter tonight to keep an eye on her condition in the meantime.]
Either to close up, or do morning after follow-up
[ She'll pretty much be ready to fall asleep once her body hits the bed. It won't be for another few hours before anything like that pulse before is felt again, though far more suppressed than it was that first time.
Which isn't too bad, considering that's the only other time it'll happen until she wakes up when it's almost eleven in the morning. ]
/goes with follow-up
It doesn't seem as bad the next time he feels it, though it does nothing to lessen the worry inside of him.
He was hoping to be done with all of that.Fortunately, he doesn't have any plans for the day, so by the time Botan wakes up, there's the smell of food coming from somewhere in the temple.]
And the first tag I got since being back!
When getting closer to the source of the smell, while not quite there yet, she finally calls out with considerably more energy than she did last night. ]
\o/
By the time she does come to see what it is, there's just something that resembles a traditional breakfast with rice possibility since that's all he really knows how to make.]
no subject
I think this still counts as early enough to say 'good morning.'
no subject
[Toushirou gives her a nod in greeting.]
But good morning, anyway. How are you feeling?
no subject
[ Which is said with a rather big stretch as she goes to settle more in the room. ]
It's nice to get a break from Grell talking to that flower. It was starting to cause weird dreams.
no subject
[His face adopts a different expression at the mention of the flowers.]
no subject
[ While not saying it, Botan's pretty sure that Grell is some kind of serial killer, and not just a reaper. ]
The sound of a chainsaw isn't the best thing to sleep to, so you can see why it'd be so weird.
no subject
[Then again, Grell doesn't seem to be...mentally sound the last time he saw her.]
...I wouldn't exactly go with 'weird'.
no subject
[ Between Grell's entire appearance and the things she's said... ]
What would you go with, if not weird or strange?
no subject
[Red is the color of blood, after all.]
Crazy. Insane. Not mentally stable.
no subject
Well, I suppose those would also apply. Though it was easier to reason with her before those flowers appeared, so I'm sure there's some stability there.
[ There is. It's call Ronald Knox and William T. Spears. ]
