004 | Too Much Chocolate
Who: Everyone!
What: Passing out chocolates
When: All day March 15, 2016
Where: Throughout Japan
Summary: There is so much leftover chocolate from White Day that the Heavens have asked Far Shore residents to pass out the remaining candies to Near Shore residents.
Warnings: Content warning for: emetophobia and suicide mentions/ideation.

It is the day after White Day and, for some reason, there is a mass of chocolates left over. Oddly enough, these chocolates all appear to have been produced by the same small company: Fujisaki Confectioneries. The Heavens hate to see all of this chocolate that was meant to spread joy to the Near Shore go to waste, so they have asked residents of the Far Shore - specifically all you lovely gods and shinki - to go about Japan and pass out chocolates to unsuspecting humans, who will obviously be grateful for such a thoughtful gift, even from a stranger.
There are two problems, though, both stemming from the fact that the chocolates are 'cursed':
First, gods and shinki are prohibited from eating the chocolate and will face dire consequences if they indulge in the goodies, though the Heavens failed to mention what those consequences might be. Second, Near Shore residents are susceptible to the actual 'curse' that has been placed upon the chocolates, which turns out to actually be small ayakashi who want nothing more than to lead any Near Shore resident that they can to their death.
All gods and shinki have been tasked with this errand, including the group that have just arrived as of today. They will find themselves informed of their situation and then promptly handed a large box of chocolates and told to be on their way to pass them out.
Please remember: The only thing the Heavens have said to the gods and shinki is that they are to hand out chocolates and not eat any themselves. There is no IC information about the chocolates being 'cursed' and they seem like perfectly normal chocolates.

Chocolate Giving
Giving out chocolates might seem like a perfectly easy task, but the people of the Far Shore have always had a hard time being noticed by residents of the Near Shore. It might be difficult to catch someone's attention long enough to actually even pass them a bar of chocolate. In fact, you might have to resort to desperate measures, like stepping directly in front of them or grabbing their hand to stop them from continuing onward. How you catch their attention to give them their treat is entirely up to you, but most Near Shore residents don't particularly like being manhandled.
Dire Consequences
Unfortunately, some shinki and gods will likely give in to temptation and take a bite or more of the chocolates they've been given. Any Far Shore resident who eats the chocolates will find themselves suddenly and violently ill. They might come down with an instant fever, find that they can't control their bowels, or be overcome by intense and overwhelming nausea. The way that the sickness hits will be different for each person. Additionally, any shinki that eats the chocolate will find that they have stung their god, blighting themselves and their god in the process.
Ayakashi
The small ayakashi that were hiding out in the chocolate bars are freed the moment that a Near Shore resident takes a bite of the chocolate. These ayakashi may be small, but they are far from weak. As soon as they are free, they will take up residence on the shoulder of the person they are attached to and begin whispering ideas of death in their ears. All Near Shore residents under this influence will instantly find themselves too depressed to go on and will take immediate action to try and end their own suffering. It's best to kill the ayakashi quickly to stop the inevitable from happening.
Noisy Ayakashi
Oddly enough, some of the chocolate bars do not have the depressing ayakashi hanging out in them, but instead a different kind of ayakashi which seem to be completely alright with leaving the Near Shore residents alone. However, the moment that they lay eyes on a Far Shore resident - be it shinki or god - they will attack with a vicious fervor, obviously intending to do as much harm as possible. These Noisy ayakashi will range in size and shape from bugs all the way to small birds. Thank goodness they're not much larger, because they are harder and it seems they can only be taken down when solid teamwork is involved.

In Summary:
- Pass out chocolate
- Don't eat it or you'll get sick
- Save the people you just gave chocolate to
- Hope you have friends nearby to kill the Noisy ayakashi with
- Try not to let anyone die
- Have fun~

So it's not terribly long before he comes back and moves to feel Tsuzuki's forehead.]
....nnn... you're burning up, Tsuzuki-san. Maybe we should just get you home right away...
no subject
[Tsuzuki blinks through the hair that's fallen over his eyes. His head feels like it's stuffed full of cottonballs, his stomach feels like it's stuffed full of something alive and very unhappy, and the rest of him just feels like crap.
He makes another pathetic inquisitive noise, and tries to sit up straighter.]
Battler? M'fine.
[He's not fine. The attempt at sitting up straight turns into a wobble dangerously close to falling off the wall altogether.]
no subject
You're not even a little fine! C-c'mon, we can... take it slow, can you stand with my help?
no subject
[Probably? He slumps against Battler, steeling himself before he sets his feet on the ground and manages to put his weight more on them than on the wall. Then more on Battler than on his feet. He's upright, though, as tentative as his balance is, and he thinks he might even manage to walk. Slowly.]
I... just get me to the shrine and I think I can teleport us back. 'Kay?
no subject
Alright. One step at a time.
[He starts leading his god slowly to the shrine, man this is gonna take forever...!!]
no subject
He wishes his head would clear enough to teleport there. It'd be a lot faster, but he's not sure he can focus.]
Hey. Battler?
Thanks.
[It's barely a mutter, but Tsuzuki tightens his grip on his shinki's shoulders in a a silent thank-you, too.]
no subject
No... no problem, Tsuzuki-san. I'm happy to help... really!
[He doesn't stop, despite talking to his god. It's important that they get to the shrine and get back to Heaven!]
no subject
[Tsuzuki's grin is brief, wiped away by a surge of nausea, but as he closes his eyes and leans more heavily on Battler's shoulder, there's still a little bit of a smile left. It really is lucky. Battler's a nice guy. And Hisoka really would've yelled.]
no subject
That is, until they reach the shrine.]
Tsuzuki-san...! We're here!
no subject
Now he just has to get his vision to focus long enough that he's not too scared to teleport them back over to the Far Shore.]
... Okay. I'll just -- [He pales as a wave of nausea hits, and swallows hard.]
-- just get us back home then...
Or. Do you want to stay?
[There's a lot going on here. Tsuzuki focuses on Battler, real worry in his expression. Maybe he should tell Battler to get Hisoka, have them all get back to the temple. Maybe it would be safer that way.]
no subject
I... I really think I need to help out here, Tsuzuki-san. Can you get home safely on your own?
[It just doesn't feel right to abandon people here, you know?]
no subject
He reaches out, grabbing Battler's sleeve, and gives him a worried look.]
You -- be careful, okay? You and Hisoka. If it -- gets too bad... [He pales again, and lets go of Battler's sleeve, forcing himself to stand up straight despite the stomach cramp that's setting in.]
Don't get hurt.
no subject
We'll be careful, definitely! You be careful too!
[He's not leaving until he sees Tsuzuki leave, though. >=T]
no subject
[Tsuzuki smiles at him, weakly, and disappears, reappearing in the front hallway of his house and catching his balance against the wall.
He'll trust them. They'll be okay. Probably. Yeah.]
