What: Nephenee needs to shop for clothes; Joker is there to help!
When: PRIOR TO EVENT; ~ May 14th.
Where: The shopping center.
Warnings: Cute conversations. Bright colors. Questionable fashion sense.

How could he leave a lady in the lurch? She needed clothing and that was important to him - though he could not recall being without a shirt on his back or pants on his legs. It was the same urge that made him see that others - and himself - were well-fed. Joker didn't like seeing anyone go without and he had long stopped trying to figure out why.

Shun was right when he said it was possible he didn't want to know why he reacted that way.

With his new hand - and arm - strapped nice and tight to his body, he felt confident to escort a lady while she shopped. The ghosts of his past had no place in such a task and he was attired as brightly as possible to chase them away. He hoped Nephenee found the shopping district without issue, but if not, she would find a text on Heaven's BBS:

Nephenee, I'm waiting for ye in the shopping district! If ye need directions, let me know.

Fortunately for Nephenee's needs, there had been no shortage of nice people willing to help her out when it came to her troubles, clothes among the foremost of them. Who was she to turn down the help? And Joker seemed like a pretty nice guy.

Unfortunately for her anxieties, the area was crowded with people, and it took a few tries for the deity to get out there and off the sidelines. Or in her case, on top of a roof. Some goddess o'hospitality Ah am, she mused pensively, looking about the square with unease. Where was he...

A buzzing in her leather pouch interrupoted her search, and glancing at it, the Sentinel couldn't help but smile. Nice timing there, Joker. Quickly, she tapped out a reply:

I'm here now, but I'm having trouble spotting ya. Do ya see the store with the blue awnin? Can ya come over here, if ya can?

Joker had a feeling he would understand Nephenee just fine. The girl reminded him of...someone. In his past most likely - thus why he couldn't remember them - and that familiarity was enough to make him feel protective of the girl. He would help her get clothes and whatever else she needed for that reason, though it likely only made sense to his fellow shinki.

No trouble, lass. You'll spot me right quick!

He moved out into the open, spotting the blue awning. With a faint smile, he looked around and even waved his hand. So what if he looked silly? Making someone laugh was a great hobby in his opinion.
