What is going out when you're a social caterpillar?
Who: Nephenee and YOU!
What: Nephenee's busy with training and bunnies and clothes...and probably some other stuff, depending! But she's at least hanging out with people?
When: May 17th or so
Where: All over the place, Near and Far Shores.
Warnings: Cutes probably?
There was a certain irony to having become a deity of hospitality, when you were a rather shy sort. This hadn't escaped the farmer, but even then, circumstances had rather forced her hand. She needed to get better, and it was somehow scarier than a normal battlefield. Maybe because she wasn't used to it? The reason didn't matter, really. The results were what did.
While plans had been made several weeks prior to do things with people, a certain ayakashi incident had but a damper on them for a bit, and then more people had showed up and there was a relief effort... Now was as good a time as any. Clad in her Sentinel armor, helmet shoved down over her eyes, and lance at her back, she was...ready, for lack of a better term. Now was time to get out there, and try to get better.
Because what the heck sort of hospitality goddess was afraid of people??

"Hey, Nephenee. Ready to start?"

"Heya, Katniss. Ah sure am." She holds out a vambraced hand, carrying a small covered basket. "Ah brought some treats for after, too."
no subject
"Is everything alright, nya?"
no subject
"Oh...A-Ah'm...jus' wanderin' 'bout, Ah guess..." Which, if her facial expression and stammer was an indication, probably was a bit of hogwash.

"Is that so? Tell me, have mew been here for some time? I'm afraid I didn't get much of a proper introduction when I first arrived here. "

Hats!
He points her towards a clothing store, and there's a few wide-brimmed ones display.
"Look, you can tug it down lower if you need to!"

He wonders if the armor protects her from stares, too?
Instead, he grabs a wide green hat and drops it on top of her head (and her armor's headpiece) experimentally.
"It's cute when it's tilted a little."

Distracted by a nearby shop's display for a moment, she nearly bumps into the armor-clad woman. She catches herself just in time, and offers a sheepish, apologetic smile.
"Ah... excuse me!"
She almost moves to continue on, but the armor catches her eye a second time. She blinks, clearly surprised, and makes a small 'um' sound. Words fail to form into the question on her mind, and instead she blurts out, "Is that real armor?"

"Y-yeah...plate mail an' leather. Had it for a year or so, now." Despite the small dents here and there, it's pretty well taken care of, with a sheen to it from a through polishing.

"I... I see."
It's hard thinking of the right words to say for a situation like this. It takes a second for her to finally come to a decision.
"So you're... not from here too?"

It's not a duty, it's a privilege.Indeed, when Nephenee got back home, she is rather confused to be greeted by a large sandy bunny in a fancy shirt with lots of frills. Stooping down, she picks up the fluff ball, looking at her in bewilderment. "Sassy, what the heck happened?" The rabbit squirms, and once set down, hops onward towards the sewing room; following the bun leads to more dressed buns, and lots of fabric. And an Alice in the middle of it, outfitting the white bunny in something frilly.
Nephenee can only stare for a moment.
"...The heck?"
no subject
"Oh, Welcome back. Was there anything interesting going on today?"
Alice had been keeping to herself mostly, trying to figure things out for herself. Lacking a memory was slightly hard to deal with as time went on. There is the hope to learning something at some point though.
