Who: Sheryl and the people she invited
What: A bunch of gods and shinki are taking over a classy hot springs resort

Where: Spa LaQua @ Tokyo

On the night of May 15th, Sheryl spammed the inboxes of every person that she knows and likes with an invitation to a place known as Spa LaQua. As Eno kindly reminded her, she needed a break and so do her friends... which leads to a tall, lavish building inside Tokyo Dome City. Sheryl is not the type to skimp out on what she thinks is the nicest-looking place. Not only does the building contain restaurants and relaxation areas, but also spa rooms and hot springs. The staff, while courteous, is also very stringent on rules; the "no-tattoos" rule may be problematic for any shinki, though they should be fine if they hide it with clothes or make-up. They'll expect people to pay up — ¥2,634, to be exact.

As it turns out, being a celestial resident from the Far Shore has its perks, like say, not being seen by the people of the Near Shore...



Locker Rooms
Once you enter the building, there are lockers for men and women. Shoes and other belongings are where they are safely stored while you strip down and slip into yukatas or some sweats with matching slippers. You'll receive towels as well, but they are tiny; they will either cover your head or your lower half (barely), but not both. Hope you brought your own towels.

Hot Springs/Open Baths/Saunas
The hot springs contain water that possess healing benefits such as soothing aching muscles, improving circulation, and moisturizing skin. They are also split in between the men's section and the women's. That won't stop people from sneaking inside to take a peek at the opposite sex, however. Mixed-sex rooms are also an option for the frisky.

Alternatively, you can check out the open air baths. Traditional saunas also exist if you want to get hot and sweaty. Have fun!

Healing Baden
Behold, the Healing Baden — a special area that you have to pay about 800 yen to use (or just be invisible and sneak right in). You can also rent your own towels and leisure wear, a red shirt and dark brown pants combo, in these floors to lounge in if you have the cash to spare. Here's what you can expect:

Special Saunas: All five of them, each with their own trendy gimmick. One sauna uses yellow sand for anti-aging effects, another sauna has walls that change color. There's even a special kind that contains a tank filled with colorful jellyfish swimming around.
Resting Areas: Just like the room says, it's a place for relaxation. Grab a comfy chair and plop down on it. You can also take in the view of Tokyo Dome City at the balconies.
Pool: There's a large pool for swimming adventures. Lounge chairs can be found near it.

Restaurants
Lunch time! You'll find plenty of restaurants to choose from, from cafés to Asian cuisine. Want to try out some udon, shabu-shabu, and other kinds of hot pot meals? Perhaps you're in the mood for sushi? How about some Korean food instead, like their style of barbecue and kimchi?

Other Places
This is where plenty of pampering ensues if you want to get rid of any lingering stress, or if you just want to look extra pretty.

Salons: Want a manicure? A pedicure? A haircut? Your chest, eyebrows, and who knows what else waxed? Then you've come to the right place!
Massages: Body, back, and foot massages are in vogue, as is aromatherapy if you want your body coated with essential oils — and your nostrils filled with floral and fruity scents.
Recliners: It's where you can find oversized recliners to sleep on while watching TV and ordering snacks.
Nap Rooms: They exist. Find a plush bed to claim and just nap the day away!
Makeup Bar: You'll discover a counter filled with cosmetics and skincare products for guests to use. Sheryl will be on this like white on rice.

Gift Shop
Time to grab a souvenir before you go! From clothing to other trinkets, you can find what you want to remember this place by.

[ He's just... going to slip into the water without another word. There's a soft hiss of contentment because damn the hot water's nice when you've been walking around forever.

Unfortunately, the water comes up half his chest, just a few inches below the collarbone. ]

[ He shrugs lightly and looks to the side while 'she' gets in - maybe as a lesson in politeness from Sheryl. But once his companion's settled in, he looks back. He should definitely be able to recognize his friend, even without glasses, but his mind's a bit distracted right now. ]

Yeah, it definitely isn't.

[ He'd be able to recognize you Bandou but... he doesn't really have his glasses on. And the fact you don't have the unibomber look going for you doesn't help either.

But hey, he's just gonna sit there, squeezing water out of his hair briefly. ]

So... were you just here this whole time or have you seen the rest of the place yet?

[chickshades]

[ Bandou's response is delayed a moment or two has he's a bit transfixed by his companion wringing out 'her' hair. ...It's cute, okay, shush. ]

Huh? Oh, uh... I looked around the place. Almost got a massage, but...

[ He trails off, not wanting to put himself in a bitter mood when he's suddenly got company and shouldn't be complaining. ]

This is nicer anyway.

[ Bandou really you shouldn't be so petty all the time... just take things as they are~ ]

Almost, huh? I haven't really tried to get one myself but... maybe later.

[ Mental note, look into that. He's supposed to be on "vacation" too, after all. ]

But you're right at that point. This is actually pretty nice. The water's kind of relaxing. Though... this sort of thing seems kind of... intimate.

[ ....it's the heat that's making him blush. Sure, let's go with that. ]

[ He's trying to get better with it!

Whether it's caused by the heat or not, Bandou's taking that pinkness as a good sign. ]

But that's okay though, right?

[ He says hopefully. And yes, Eno, that will be Bandou's foot playfully rubbing against yours. ]

[ Oh god no not this guy too. That just makes him turn even redder and it's definitely not from the heat of the water.

But hey, he's not pulling away. Instead he's just.... turning his head slightly. After all, this one... isn't a bad looking guy, all things considered. ]

[ Hey this innocent flirting has to be better than those other creeps pushing themselves on him from the get go, right?

But if Eno isn't going to protest, Bandou's gonna keep his little game of footsie going. ]

[ Innocent flirting, he's come to realize, is actually definitely much nicer than guys being all up in his grill.

And hey, what did he expect from getting into a pool of water... naked.... with another guy? ]

And he's awkwardly reciprocating, turning his leg ever so slightly to brush against what he could of Bandou's own.

There's a pause as he clears his throat a bit. ]

Should... I get closer?

[ Bandou just blinks disbelievingly at Eno. Despite his flirting, he had little faith that this was actually going to amount to anything. It never had before.

He swallows heavily, suddenly getting goosebumps despite the high temperature of the water and air around them. He had no idea it was possible to be both excited and terrified at the same time. ]

Wait, really? I mean ah... only if you're comfortable with that.

[ There's a small shrug as he does inch kind of closer... though he does remain partially submerged. If anything, he seemed to slip a little lower into the water. Gah was he looking too desperate?! He didn't want to come off as that easy... but then again, this guy didn't seem so bad.

He moves to be an arm's length away from Bandou as opposed to across the spring from him. ]

Well... yeah. I think I would have gotten out if I wasn't...

[ GAH WHAT IS HE DOING ]

[ Seriously, what are they both doing?

Bandou scoots closer, as well, closing the gap between them even more. But never having gotten this far before, he's a bit lost on what he should do next. Or more, how fast he should move. He definitely doesn't want to scare his new friend off.

'She' seems like a shy one, so maybe it's best to try and be more...romantic? ]

Wow...you're even prettier up close.

[ Trying his damnedest to keep his eyes where they should be (for once), Bandou manages to find Eno's hand under the steaming water and takes it in his own. His free hand reaches up, brushing a few wet strands of hair away from his face. ]

[ !! Pretty?! Oh god dammit not again!

But instead of protesting, he only turns a deeper shade of red and ducks his head. He can barely speak and his tongue's caught in his throat and it just gets even worse when there's a hand holding his and his hair's being brushed away and his heart's about to explode.

He can barely make out any words save for a very soft squeak. Should he stop? Should he be modest? ]

A... ah... I...

[ A girl. Say it, Eno. Say it.

He probably could if he could feel his tongue. ]

[ And, of course he over stepped his boundaries too quickly. But damn if that sweet shyness doesn't keep him from cursing or clicking his tongue pettily at his poor luck. Instead he pulls his hands away and slides back, just a bit. ]

Ah, sorry.

[ It's a sincere apology. He doesn't sound bitter in the least, but more worried that he may have made her feel super uncomfortable. ]

Maybe... Do you wanna go do something else?

[ Breathe in, hold it and just... Come on. You're an attractive guy. If pretty is your niche, then let it be your niche!

He's just going to slide his hand over to Bandou's again under the water, just lightly brushing against it. ]

I'm still not used to hearing that directed at me. That's all. At least not with someone who's usually in your face about it.

[chickshades]

[ Eno probably won't be able to tell since he's so blind without those glasses of his, but Bandou's pettiness caught up to him and he's grimacing slightly. He just met this person, he shouldn't get grouchy over unnamed others also calling them cute, but he can't help it. ]

Well, I meant it. You're really pretty.

[ Though feeling Eno's hand touch his again, he moves his over, interlacing a few of their fingers. ]

Well... thanks.

[ He's turned red all over again as their fingers are interlaced. This, he decides, is actually kind of nice. Have the smallest sheepish smile back. ]

It sounds really sincere coming from you. You seem like that kind of guy.

[chickshades]

[ That smile gets Bandou's frown to disappear. His eyes light up and a silly smile of his own slowly appears instead. ]

Do you...like guys like that?

[ He says, all too hopeful. ]

[ Moment of surprise as he looks up... and promptly turns two shades pinker. ]

I... guess it would be nice to find a sincere guy if I was looking...

[ Hey, if he's going to consider dating dudes, better go with someone nice. ]

You have no idea how many egomaniacs we have around here.

Yeah, and creepy guys too.

[ Oh, he understands all too well. ]

But hey, if you're interested...

[ He's just gonna take Eno's hand more in his own. ]

[ But hey, at least this guy seems... decent. He does audibly swallow as he inches a little closer against him. ]

I... guess it wouldn't be too bad. I.. I mean, I... haven't really dated anyone before... and... ah... is... it gonna be okay...?

[ Oh man. Cute, shy and no previous boyfriends to be compared to. How is this happening right now? ]

It's fine. I haven't either.

[ Not something he really wants to admit, but maybe it will make Eno feel more at ease. Though Bandou's heart is racing as well. Should he lean in and go for the kiss? It couldn't be too forward, right? I mean, they're already naked.

He licks his lips, almost subconsciously as he tries to mentally prepare himself for this. ]

[ Sadly, there's a glaring problem that might grind your quest to get laid to a halt. ]

So... I guess we can... figure this out together.

[ It feels a little forward, being naked in water with another guy. But he lets out a breath before ducking slightly.

And he'll just... turn to face him before leaning over a little closer.

Strike while the iron's hot! Get the most of it! DO IT BEFORE YOU LOSE YOUR NERVE, TATSUYA! ]

[ Bandou'd really expected this to end at any moment. He'd say something stupid or find out she was already with someone or the building would have a fire drill and they'd all have to leave. But shit, this is really happening, isn't it?

So not wasting another moment, Bandou leans in and presses his lips needily against Eno's. They're soft and gentle and he can't help but humm pleasantly against them. ]

[ Okay he didn't see it coming. Well, he certainly didn't expect it to happen right then and there but here he is, kissing another guy.

And it isn't half bad.

It's when the initial shock wears off that he's finally able to relax. Okay. He's kissing a guy. This is fine. But.. what does he even do with his hands apart from leaving them in his lap?! So... one's just going to tentatively go up and press against Bandou's chest. That over with, he's going to turn his head slightly, fighting back the deeper flush as his lips demurely part ever so slightly with a very soft sound. ]
