What: A huge meetup because people need to see faces that go with names
Where: Artemis' and Baldr's temples respectively
When: May 21st - 22nd (Basically show up whenever and leave whenever)
Warnings: N/A


[Those invited will have most likely gotten a text or other way of communication to let them know there was something going on at this time and date. There is no set time per say, so it's an open invitation to show up even before sunrise if you feel crazy enough to deal with the wildlife in Artemis' place.

The party can be spent between the two places that are somehow linked by a trail. Either side will have amenities/foods/entertainment suitable for a meetup (though if you want tea/coffee, stick to the side that isn't Baldr's place).

There will be a sign on Artemis' side that warns of getting near the bear or deer since they are skittish around too many people, so one side of Artemis' temple will be sealed off to visitors unless you ask very nicely to see the deer. There will also be a sign that reads "NO SWIMMING IN THE LAKE". At least there's a nice fire in the fire pit on the patio, and those who stay the night at this temple will... see a bunch of glow in the dark stars on the ceiling.

Baldr's side... pretty much do whatever you want within godly legal limits? If you want to swim, go to that side. If you want to sleep under the stars, go to that side. If you want to be around wildlife that can't possibly gore you to death or maul you (unless it's your unlucky day and the bear decides to hang at the beach), go to that side.]

[Roxas sighs softly, pausing his game. He isn't actually mad at his partner, but it was okay to pretend, right?]

I go outside everyday now. Let me have some inside time!

[oathkeeper]

[Sora laughs and leans against Roxas. He's teasing too so that response makes him grin. He doesn't mind Roxas wanting his hermit time anyway but he'll still poke about it.]

It's really too bad we can't figure out away to keep everyone in one spot. Like a temple village... That would be awesome.

That'd make visiting others easier.

[Unpausing the game, Roxas looks a bit lost in thought.]

.... I really don't mind having my friends over like this. Not since we can use both our temples.

[oathkeeper]

[He watches the game before he glances at Roxas.]

It's fun, right?! Having everyone here hanging out!

[Between the two of them they really do have quite the large social circle of mix matched friends. Putting them all in one place almost feels like a special occasion of some sort.]

And with people disappearing sometimes I think it's important we all have fun together while we can.

[He's a bit worried about Roxas and Terra since Aqua and Katniss are...]

[With a soft sigh, Roxas pauses the game to look at Sora. He takes one of Sora's hands and lifts it up so he can kiss the back of it. He lets himself linger before saying anything.]

I'll miss them... So I want to be around my friends while they're still here. Not all the time like this, but when I can. I haven't been a very good friend for the pastn month.

[He's far more worried about Terra.]

[oathkeeper]

[Sora finds himself blushing faintly and his heart bounces when Roxas takes his hand and kisses it. It's so intimate and really sweet.]

That's why it's great to have fun together like this. [But he looks puzzled next.] What do you mean haven't been a very good friend??

[That's hard to believe.]

[Affection might be hard at times, but when Roxas feels the need, he'll act on it.]

Are you gonna throw another beach party then?

[He sighs softly.]

I haven't really been around for any of them since I was on vacation.

[oathkeeper]

[He shifts to laces their fingers together and then leans over to press a kiss to Roxas' cheek.]

Who knows, maybe. It has been a while since then.

[He nudges Roxas.]

That doesn't make you a bad friend, Roxas. You had a lot going on. Everyone still thinks you're a good friend and that won't change. So cheer up! Turn that frown upside down.

[Is Sora holding back since there were other people here? With a soft huff Roxas gives Sora a proper kiss.]

It's getting hot enough for it.

[He still feels bad. He manages a small smile for Sora.]

It gave me time to think about things. I wanna spend more time with them. Go on more prayers. Do something instead of just hiding away.

[oathkeeper]

[Oh Roxas, he just didn't know you wanted to make out so bad right now ;D]

Well nothing's stopping you now, right? We've got nothing going on aside from getting Kairi settled. Go do some work with Raichi, Senri and her.

[He grins.] And there's always giving Axel a crash course on Ayakashi butt kicking.

[He'll encourage Roxas until the cows come home to go forth and adventure. It'll make him happy.]

Kairi's pretty settled in already. She gets used to new stuff fast. [.... Oh. Axel.] He invited us to his place for a sleepover sometime and to hang out.

[oathkeeper]

[So yes, he'll lean in again for another kiss and this one will be slower and sweet.

When he leans back he nods.] He did, did he? Let's do that then. Still feels weird to know he's back but I'm happy he is.

[missingache]

[Kisses will be a good incentive if you want things done, Sora.]

Yeah. He doesn't have a shinki, so he's all alone there... And I'm happy he's back. He remembers me, and being around him again is great. I didn't mind the other Axel but I missed my best friend. I gotta lot of stuff to tell him.

[oathkeeper]

Yeah you do. I'm happy for you, Roxas.

[He smiles, though it's a little smaller than usual. He's happy for Roxas to have Axel back, he really is. But he can't help feel a little sad and miss Riku in that moment.

He looks down at their intertwined fingers and squeezes.

It's nice to be able to see Kairi once in a while even though she doesn't remember him. And he still has to hold onto the hope that Riku would be back someday. Sora wonders if this is what growing up is supposed to be like. This weird imbalance in his life.]

You gonna tell him all about Koriko?

[missingache]

[Watching Sora with that smile nowhere near as bright as usual makes Roxas' stomach drop slightly. There was nothing he could really do about the situation, so he takes a moment to let there be some silence between them.]

Yeah. Not all of it. Not the painful parts. Not parts I only want you to know about either. I know he's my best friend, but there's things I don't want him to know. Like how I died.

[oathkeeper]

[It's true no one could really do anything about that but Sora still goes through the motions of it from time to time. It's too hard to forget.]

It'll be nice for him to know some stuff about it. You did a lot of growing up there, lots happened. But yeah probably better you don't tell him the painful parts. He also doesn't remember anything about the exams so I kind of steered clear of that stuff.

[He's not sure how Axel would handle that information.]

[Here's to hoping that if Riku returns, it's as a god. For Sora.]

He'll wanna hear about some bad things... I'll tell him about that dating auction. That'll make him laugh, too.

[oathkeeper]

[Sora blinks.]

... Dating auction? Did you tell me about that? What's that about?

[SOUNDS SCARY.]

I think I told you a little... I don't remember... [Huge sigh.]

The Witch decided a good way to make money fast was to set up an auction. Every event she had was a required to be attended, but not everyone was being auctioned. Some volunteered. Most people were like me and forced to be up there because the Witch thought we would bring her in money. [This is gonna sound awkward.] I won my friend Leona, since we could bet, too, and Killer. They had spirits bidding on them and I didn't want them getting stuck with that.

[This is gonna be awkward.] I had a spirit and two workers bidding on me. Killer was trying to return the favor, and then the other worker jumped in. Killer and the spirit backed off when the other worker looked ready to cry, and I went to them.

[oathkeeper]

[He vaguely remembers something about this.

As he listens his expression changes from puzzled to sort of amused. He even starts laughing a bit.]

Looks like you guys really worked the system! I didn't know you were so popular, Roxas!

[Well, he's not really surprised Roxas is popular. He is good looking after all. He's so proud.]

[missingache]

[How????]

I don't get how.

[oathkeeper]

[He nudges Roxas.]

Three people bidding on you? That's popular. Even if Killer was only trying to return the favor, you were still bid on!

[missingache]

[Roxas looks very embarrassed now.]

Y-You would have gotten a lot more bids!

[oathkeeper]

[Sora laughs warmly and moves to gently throw his arms around Roxas and squeezes him.]

Yeah right, but thanks for thinking that! You're really cute, Roxas.

[missingache]

[With a soft smile, Roxas wraps his own arms around Sora.]

Cute? You're a lot cuter. You can ask anyone.
