Warnings: Literally nothing it is Terra and Urashima bonding over helping people and probably food since that fixes everything

[For all that gods were still a bit of an alien concept to Terra, one thing he could get behind was people asking for help helping other people.

And even though he knows, deep down, that Urashima can probably handle a fight right now, Terra isn't willing to take him into one just yet, so finding a prayer that requires no fighting and just involves helping people was a very good thing, in his opinion.

He and Urashima have been at this food bank-slash-kitchen since morning and Terra's taking a quick break from helping people carry boxes of cans wherever they need to be, leaning against the back wall for just a second.

It feels good, finally doing something.]

(Urashima doesn't mind not going into any fights. At the same time, he wouldn't mind fighting either. He's the type of person who is easily satisfied and content with the things he has.

He'd started off with carrying boxes and he hadn't complained once-- in fact, he was pretty happy just helping-- but at some point, he'd found himself roped into the kitchen, listening to a kind volunteer as he helps to make curry for the meals.

After awhile, he comes looking for Terra, a bottle of green tea in his hands, and hair looking particularly ruffled. It looks like someone got more than his fair share of head pats and hair messy today. There's also that weird turtle on his shoulder-- the two are inseparable when he isn't losing her.)

Working hard, Terra~?

(He's teasing, he's teasing.)

[He's about to get more as Terra reaches out to ruffle Urashima's hair]

I needed to break before my arms fell off. How're things in the kitchen?

( That gets Terra a few laughs as he bows his head down under Terra's hand and accepts all hair ruffling. )

Good, good! Everyone's so kind and friendly. ( He looks proud of himself, winking at Terra as he adds, ) I can make curry now. Maybe I'll make some back home too~

( And he holds out the bottled tea for Terra, )

Ms. Tanaka told me to give all of the volunteers some drinks. It's really hot, you know?

[He takes it and quickly drinks about half of it]

It's not hot out here, but then again I'm not working in the kitchen. Do you think we've made the person who prayed for help happy?

( You say it's not hot but then chug half a bottle of tea... Urashima is onto you, Terra. )

Hmm... Ms. Tanaka said it was nice to see more people helping here, especially kids. I don't think they get many helpers...

( Which is sad because the prayer was honest and good. And based on the other volunteers, Urashima does appear to be one of if not the youngest person around. )

Everyone's so nice here and they're doing a really good thing. They're helping people and making a lot of people smile and that makes me happy too. So if that person is here, I'm sure they're happy now but I wouldn't mind staying a little longer just - in - case. ☆

( Accenting each word at the end playfully because he's really having fun helping right now. )

[He's a big guy, that happens! Gosh, Urashima.

He chuckles and reaches out to ruffle his shinki's hair again. Terra knows your game, kid]

I was thinking we'd stay until the end of the day. Staying until dinner and then leaving before a big rush would be rude, after all. Sound good?

( He just wants to make sure you take care of yourself, gosh. )

Yeah, yeah!

( And he practically tackles Terra with a hug. This is what you get when you have a sword spirit for a shinki-- they're a little touchy, okay!! But best answer, Terra. He can't wait to run back and tell the kitchen staff? Maybe they'll teach him how to make that yakisoba next... )

Heh heh, you know~ ( Still hanging on there, probably by the arm or something, ) This is kind of like how we first met. You were giving food to people back then!

[Terra is okay with the touchy-feely sword shinki. He's not heavy, after all, and it's easy to just let Urashima hang off him. He can even lift him up with him hanging on his arm a little.]

...yeah, I was. After that--was it a tsunami or an ayakashi attack, I don't remember.

[minogame]

( Lift him just like his brother used to do in his old life, yes. This is going to be his new old favorite thing, watch out. )

An ayakashi. ( He remembers. ) There was a really bad one before you came.

( Just hanging there, )

Are you getting used to it? Being a god?

( Because Terra hadn't had much of an idea of what gods were supposed to do back then but that was awhile ago. )

[Urashima you nerdchild.

Terra pauses, thinking. Is he getting used to being a god?]

I don't know. I don't know what gods are supposed to do, but I'm getting used to being here. That counts, right?

[minogame]

( More like Urashima the most spoiled child. )

Mhmm. ( It defintely counts for something. ) But if you ask me... I think you're doing okay so far. Look at all of the people we're helping now.

Terra smiles a little, looking around the area]

Yeah, I guess you're right. Hopefully we can keep this up.
