Summary: A beach party for all of the Far Shore residents

There were certainly a lot of broken hearts and emotional roller coasters recently, so the Heavens have decided it's time to allow their people to let loose and have some fun for a little while. Through some magic - or possibly just a lot of money - they have managed to rent out an entire private beach for the event so that they won't be interrupted by any Near Shore residents. The beach is beautiful and well-maintained, the ocean goes for as far as the eye can see, and rocky outcroppings offer a handy place to dive into the water on a test of courage.

It's a beautiful summer day, perfect for swimming and cracking watermelons and playing some beach volleyball. There's even some soft music permeating the air so that nothing is every silent on this fun-filled day.

New arrivals, after having been met at the Meeting Hall, would have been immediately redirected to this party. After all, they should be enjoying themselves as well.

Playful Fish

The sea critters are excited about the party too. They're happy to swim up to anyone in the water and will even come up to the shallows to take a look at the fun happening on the shore. Toe nibbling and brushes of scales are in your future, so you'd better get used to the idea if you plan on being in the water.

Barbecue

Some basics have been provided, but everyone has been asked to bring a little something to the barbecue as well if they can. So you're more than welcome to grab one of the many grills and start frying things up. Heck, there are even fishing poles available if you feel like hauling in a few of those friendly fish to grill. Additionally, summery drinks have been provided, including iced tea, lemonade, water, and horribly fruity cocktails.

After Dark

Just because the sun is down doesn't mean that the party's stopping! The barbecue will continue well into the night, lit now by the stars and a huge, roaring bonfire. The bonfire is maintained by Amaterasu's shinki and climbs higher than any bonfire has the right to. Also, there are floating lights in the water so that people can continue swimming now that it's dark. And if you happen to get too drunk to go home, don't worry. A white-clad shinki will be happy to put you back to bed at the end of the night. Additionally, some sparklers and small bottle rockets have been provided for your entertainment.

[That fork sure goes flying. It's impressive with how it lands just where it should. Then his hand is clasped, a small wave of panic following with hos happy Hajime seems to be.]

Thanks? We didn't really tell that many people.

[Like maybe all of ten or so people found out a few days after it was official official. Not just them being sickeningly gross together without dating. Now it was worse sometimes. Please don't tear his arm off!]

I don't think I knew his first god, but he seems happy with you. [......

LOVER? That word being use makes him turn scarlet, which somehow gets worse when she gets that close to him.]

[Ohnowhyisshesoclose does she not know what personal space is????]

[If she wasn't close enough, she's getting closer! With his acknowledgment she lets go of his hand (finally) to throw both of hers in the air. They're not strangers! And just as soon as her arms raise up with an excited squeal she's throwing herself on Roxas and hugging him]

Squueeezeee~! This is so great! I can't wait to run into Sora again!

[She doesn't mention it but she is happy to hear that. Yuto means a lot to her. Being his god not just once, but twice over? She really just wants him to be happy so it's good to hear that he is at least a little happy with her. She has no doubt that Yuto wouldn't come back to being her shinki if that wasn't the case but it's still good to hear from another.]

Roxas-san. I'm glad I met you today! I'm surprise we didn't cross paths sooner. How weird!

[She finally let's go and holds him at arms length before letting her arms finally drop. Her smile stays big, still beaming at him sweetly. Sora has such a cute boyfriend! Look how red he gets! She can't help but giggle.]

How long have you two been together?

[Hajime lifts her hands up and touches her two index fingers together at the word. As if Roxas needs any visuals]

[Uhmmmmmmmmmmmmm why hadn't Sora warned him that she was like this????? Roxas lets out a squeak when he's hugged. Still rather stunned, he gives her an awkward pat on the back.]

He's around here somewhere.

[He's asked Yuto several questions just to make 100% sure that Yuto was satisfied with his god. Unhappy shinki are a no go in his books. She doesn't strike him as anything but a super good person. It's a relief.]

Is it? [Well, he did kind of stay at home most of the time his first week here. Too much overwhelming him after the last place he was in.

He's going to die... but no harm in answering more questions.]

Together together? A few weeks now.

[It's okay Roxas. She's use to this reaction. It's actually really similar to how Yuto reacts to her suddenly throwing herself on him.]

I'll track him down later then! No way I could miss hair as spiky as his!

[There's something about Roxas that feels really familiar, its on the tip of her tongue but alludes her all the same. Something about his voice or maybe his body type? It's really hard to say. But she shakes her head and just focuses on him...and Sora.]

That's great! Early congrats on your soon-to-be one month then! I've really gotta make you something now to celebrate!

[Hugging is not something that happens often with anyone other than Sora. It's still something to get used to.]

You could always text him. He's got his phone on all the time in case someone needs him.

[He goes into very slight panic mode at that.]

Do something? Wait, why? [Enlighten him on anniversaries.]

I could! You're right. Do you want me to ask him to come here now? I could do that.

[She bounces up, patting her sides where her pockets would usually be. Oh, bikini, right. No pocket, thus no phone. She'd surely have to text Sora later if they didn't cross paths at the party]

It's okay, I'll do it later. But yeah. Some couples celebrate every couple of months their first year!

[She lifts her hand up, count them off]

First month, third month, six months and one whole year! I think that's how it goes. Even if it sounds silly to you, its a good excuse to do something special and romantic for Sora! You could just do that just because though! Still, I wanna do something too.

No, that's okay. He probably is with some of his friends right now. I see him at home everyday anyways.

[They had a happy sappy time together earlier that day anyways. Those two are too gross when together, but Hajime seems the type to love that. Taking pictures of that stuff loving it. Note to self to never invite her to a party without some kind of quiet space for him and Sora.

He listens intently, nodding.]

He'll want to do things on those months then... don't tell him! I wanna to surprise him.

You two live together already? Wow, so fast!

[She gapes a bit before raising one hand to giggle behind it. Sappy time is fine with her. Roxas has that much right which is clear by how she's acting now. Shaking her head, she lifts her right hand and makes a salute.]

My lips are sealed! You don't have to gimme all the details~ but I would like to know how it goes! I'm sure it'll be great! Just do your best and I'm sure Sora will be super surprised.

[He looks very hesitant before nodding.] For a while now. He likes someone sleeping next to him, so we've been doing this for a while. We switch off which temple to sleep at.

[It was first to alleviate some fears Roxas had about being alone, and now it's a comfort and habit.

He blinks and tilts his head.]

So you're good at keeping secrets?

[Oh man, just how much more cuter can these two get? Sleep-overs 24/7 just switching up the temples? She could have figured that out if she was paying attention to their 'threads' and her god ability but it wasn't as if she knew to look into it. Besides, its more fulfilling to be told rather then snoop. Let the cute boy friends live their lives in peace.

Her hand drops to her face as her index finger covers her lips]

I think so but that's up for Roxas-kun to decide, hmhmmm? You don't trust my cooking so how can you trust me? I'm happy we're not strangers anymore!

[There's only one person potentially messing with their peace, but Riku can go shove off.

Roxas sighs.]

Anything that color with glitter is going to be distrusted till I know what it is. I lived in a place where food like that wasn't always safe for humans or me.

But this place isn't that! WEll---aside from that one time with the chocolates but that was a long while ago and none of us made those...What if I asked you to trust me? Gatchaman help people, we don't poison them.

[Eventhough Senpai's cooking back home was bland, it was never dangerous.]

[Still...]

What's in it? I don't eat meat.

[Even fish is off of the menu, so please don't lie to him about what's in it.]

.....I don't remember but lots of stuff. If you don't eat meat though, I guess we better not chance it. You should have said so before!

[She's not done though, she bounces back to him, just inches from touching noses]

Roxas-kun! I'll make you something special next time. What do you like?

I usually bring my own food to things like this.

[Everyone loves meat in this place...

And now there's a blush again. Personal space, Hajime, personal space.]

I-I like vegetables... but not peppers. Or mushrooms.... I'm not big on eggplant, either. Those taste weird. I'm not a fan of spicy or bitter.

[Hajime nods eagerly as he lists off a few things. She does have to pull back for just a second though as she glances around. Her phone and NOTE are at home so she doesn't have anything to write this down in. Even if she trusts her own memory, she doesn't want to forget.

Perking up, she takes a few bouncy steps back to the table. She had spotted a marker there earlier. It takes a second but she holds it up when she finds the black sharpie. Biting onto the cap and holding it in her mouth. Hajime walks back over as she scribbles away at her left forearm.]

Vegetables get a heart. Peppers, Mushrooms, eggplant are a no good. No spicy or bitter....

[She smiles, looking over her notes. If Roxas does look all the things he listed are written on her arm with the title " ♥ Roxas likes ♥" being underlined.]

What else?

I don't eat fish. Long story... I like fruit a lot. I do eat eggs and drink milk.

[Roxas thinks some more, then looks at Hajime with a flat look.]

I hate anything with red bean im it.

[She scribbles this all down as Roxas says it, nodding all the while.]

Do you really not like the taste of red bean that much? Oh! What about sweets?

The last place I was in had red bean in way too many foods. [It's awful.] I like sweets a lot.

So you don't hate it, you're brunt out on it?

[Marking down the sweets too]

I feel like I'm getting to know so much about you, Roxas-kun~! Well, what you like to eat but that's all part of it, right? I'm glad we're not strangers anymore.

I haven't eaten it in months and when I tried some the other day... I still hate the stuff.

[Hajime is easy to please. Roxas gives a small shrug.] You and Sora are alike. It's hard to stay a stranger around you guys.

Gotcha! No red bean for sure!

[She glances at her arm, the marker standing out against her fair skin. But with no paper, this will do! She just can't go in the water anymore. This is an important list!]

Are we? I like Sora a lot too. He's super fun and that's good! I think Sora likes having lots of friends, right? Me too! Being strangers is no fun.
