There were certainly a lot of broken hearts and emotional roller coasters recently, so the Heavens have decided it's time to allow their people to let loose and have some fun for a little while. Through some magic - or possibly just a lot of money - they have managed to rent out an entire private beach for the event so that they won't be interrupted by any Near Shore residents. The beach is beautiful and well-maintained, the ocean goes for as far as the eye can see, and rocky outcroppings offer a handy place to dive into the water on a test of courage.

It's a beautiful summer day, perfect for swimming and cracking watermelons and playing some beach volleyball. There's even some soft music permeating the air so that nothing is every silent on this fun-filled day.

New arrivals, after having been met at the Meeting Hall, would have been immediately redirected to this party. After all, they should be enjoying themselves as well.



Swimwear

Anyone who doesn't have swimwear will be provided with swimwear to fit their needs. Unfortunately, the Heavens don't have access to a lot of swimwear, so you'll likely wind up with something ugly, something old, or something just plain weird.

Playful Fish

The sea critters are excited about the party too. They're happy to swim up to anyone in the water and will even come up to the shallows to take a look at the fun happening on the shore. Toe nibbling and brushes of scales are in your future, so you'd better get used to the idea if you plan on being in the water.

Barbecue

Some basics have been provided, but everyone has been asked to bring a little something to the barbecue as well if they can. So you're more than welcome to grab one of the many grills and start frying things up. Heck, there are even fishing poles available if you feel like hauling in a few of those friendly fish to grill. Additionally, summery drinks have been provided, including iced tea, lemonade, water, and horribly fruity cocktails.

After Dark

Just because the sun is down doesn't mean that the party's stopping! The barbecue will continue well into the night, lit now by the stars and a huge, roaring bonfire. The bonfire is maintained by Amaterasu's shinki and climbs higher than any bonfire has the right to. Also, there are floating lights in the water so that people can continue swimming now that it's dark. And if you happen to get too drunk to go home, don't worry. A white-clad shinki will be happy to put you back to bed at the end of the night. Additionally, some sparklers and small bottle rockets have been provided for your entertainment.

[Hajime lets the fork rest on Natsuru's bottom lip for a moment, as if any sudden movements will make the other girl lose focus. Hajime does want to make tasty food for her friends and everyone else.

Her hand as she claps it with her other hand, fork sticking out between her fingers.]

That's great to hear! Yep! That's 110% a Hajime original!

[Hajime winks, gesturing to the dish and all its blue glittery glory over on the table.]

It's... supposed to look like that, and everything?

[She tries not to sound like she's insulting Hajime's cooking, at least. She's just... genuinely confused about this. As confused as she is honestly charmed by Hajime's adorable earnestness.]

Ahuh! But it's not nearly as pretty blue as your hair! I don't think I could get that shade no matter how hard I tried. But...Hey! Idea! I have an idea!

[She points the fork back at Natsuru]

I'll name it after you! How about that?

[It's hard to insult Hajime, she appreciates any honesty. Sure it may look stange but it's pretty and tasty and thats what counts right?]

Ah... I think it's pretty, though...

[The compliment flusters her so much, it shocks her right out of 'blue food is weird' to 'but it is actually a pretty shade of blue'. The Hajime train is still going though, and Natsuru jolts upright, eyes widening a little again.]

After me?!

[Would she really do that?! And more importantly...]

But... you don't even know my name yet.

[She should probably tell it to her, actually, but she doesn't want to seem like she's only giving it because Hajime wanted to name something after her. As weird as that thought would be if she articulated it.]

Soooo tell me! What's your name? I gotta know so I can name it after you!

[That isn't going to change the fact she wants to name the dish after her and her pretty blue hair. Even if her name is Blue or something like that!]

[You joke, but her first god literally named her with the character for 'blue'. Thankfully, she has a better shinki name now... and that's not the name Hajime's asking for, anyway.]

Natsuru... my name's Natsuru.

[A short pause, as she realizes the other girl already gave her own name too.]

It's nice to meet you, Hajime-san...

Natsuru! [Hajime bounces up on the tips of her toes.] That's the dishes name then! Natsuru Curry~!

[She giggles, beaming brightly, clearly pleased.]

It's nice to meet you too Natsuru-chan! Thank you for help!

[She holds up two fingers by her cheek as she continues to smile]

Are you enjoying the beach too?

[Hajime's giggle is too cute. It makes Natsuru giggle right along with her.]

I don't think I've ever had a dish named after me before...

[That positive energy is infectious, though, and she beams right back.]

Yeah! I've been to the beaches here before, but it's different with all the gods and shinki here. It's more like a real party.

Welll Ta-daaaa~! Today is the first day of that! Everyone that has tasted Natsuru was happy. Super yummy even!

[Everyone she could get to try the glittery blue dish anyway. The trick was ignoring the strange appearance and enjoying the flavor!]

It does feel like a real party, I think it is a real party! Heaven seems to throw a lot of those, it's fun.
