There were certainly a lot of broken hearts and emotional roller coasters recently, so the Heavens have decided it's time to allow their people to let loose and have some fun for a little while. Through some magic - or possibly just a lot of money - they have managed to rent out an entire private beach for the event so that they won't be interrupted by any Near Shore residents. The beach is beautiful and well-maintained, the ocean goes for as far as the eye can see, and rocky outcroppings offer a handy place to dive into the water on a test of courage.

It's a beautiful summer day, perfect for swimming and cracking watermelons and playing some beach volleyball. There's even some soft music permeating the air so that nothing is every silent on this fun-filled day.

New arrivals, after having been met at the Meeting Hall, would have been immediately redirected to this party. After all, they should be enjoying themselves as well.



Swimwear

Anyone who doesn't have swimwear will be provided with swimwear to fit their needs. Unfortunately, the Heavens don't have access to a lot of swimwear, so you'll likely wind up with something ugly, something old, or something just plain weird.

Playful Fish

The sea critters are excited about the party too. They're happy to swim up to anyone in the water and will even come up to the shallows to take a look at the fun happening on the shore. Toe nibbling and brushes of scales are in your future, so you'd better get used to the idea if you plan on being in the water.

Barbecue

Some basics have been provided, but everyone has been asked to bring a little something to the barbecue as well if they can. So you're more than welcome to grab one of the many grills and start frying things up. Heck, there are even fishing poles available if you feel like hauling in a few of those friendly fish to grill. Additionally, summery drinks have been provided, including iced tea, lemonade, water, and horribly fruity cocktails.

After Dark

Just because the sun is down doesn't mean that the party's stopping! The barbecue will continue well into the night, lit now by the stars and a huge, roaring bonfire. The bonfire is maintained by Amaterasu's shinki and climbs higher than any bonfire has the right to. Also, there are floating lights in the water so that people can continue swimming now that it's dark. And if you happen to get too drunk to go home, don't worry. A white-clad shinki will be happy to put you back to bed at the end of the night. Additionally, some sparklers and small bottle rockets have been provided for your entertainment.

[Hakkai runs his tongue along the back of his teeth, considering the flavor of the curry. Well, it doesn't taste like soap.]

[It should taste like love, care and sugar with a bit of a kick. But at least it doesn't taste like soap.]

I like to know! If I ever make you something I know what colors to look for. Green suits you! Are you still gonna go through with starting up a school here? I really think that would still be a great idea.

[Boy does she miss Elsa still. But the school was really great while it lasted]

He nods absently in response to her question, still trying to identify all of the lingering flavors.]

Yes, I am. I've been cleaning up one of the abandoned temples -- in fact, I think we could start holding a few classes there now. There's not too much work left to do.

[Good luck Hakkai, there's a lot in there. Werid flavors that shouldn't mix together but somehow do thanks to whatever magic Hajime worked on it. Garlic? Oranges? Who knows!

Hajime's eyes widen at that as she steps closer in excitement]

Really?! Yay!

[Both her arms shoot up almost instantly, beaming]

That's great~! If you need any help with cleaning or anything, just give me a ring. I want to help out to! Even if it's small. It would be great to get classes going again. Gatchaman Hajime Ichinose, at your service!

[He's been doing a bit of tutoring with his current students, still, but it's not the same.

It's something to remember Elsa by, if nothing else, he thinks. Even if he happens to disappear himself.]

Ahuh! I've missed it too! Elsa-san too!

[Best Far Shore teacher goddesses ever! With people coming and going, some repearing, there is a part of Hajime that wishes Elsa, Yuya, Tsuzuki and a few others would show back up. At least to say hello. but it's a selfish request. If they do, great! If not, well she hopes they're happy and living their dreams. But that still leaves the ones here...]

Of course! I know we're not super close, Hakkai, but I'm still around for you and the school. So don't forget okay? I like meeting new people but there aren't too many familiar faces left. I'm still working on my collage though! It keeps getting bigger and bigger.

[He misses Elsa, too. And everyone else he's watched disappear -- everyone else who might be equally helpless and tormented now.

His eyebrows draw together, a fine line deepening between them.]

You really donno? Its art. I'm taking pictures of all my friends and putting them together in one big collage! I don't ever wanna forget anyone and I would like to keep a sort of momento! Ya know? Its never gonna be finished though! Nope! With so many more people showing up, its going to keep growing.

[Clearly she doesn't mind though, her smile keeps strong. She bounces forward, throwing her arms around Hakkai's waist in an attempt to hug him]

[He smiles politely at her. That sounds like a deeply morbid exercise to him... but as long as it cheers her up, he supposes--

Oh dear, she's trying to hug him. He starts, briefly uncertain about which way to dodge for just long enough to let her throw her arms around his wais.]

[Hajime giggles as her arms wrap around him and she squeezes him tightly. Her smile grows though its squished with her cheek pressed against him. A strong hug for a strong guy that looks like he could use one!]

I've thought you needed a hug for awhile! This is super over due!
