There were certainly a lot of broken hearts and emotional roller coasters recently, so the Heavens have decided it's time to allow their people to let loose and have some fun for a little while. Through some magic - or possibly just a lot of money - they have managed to rent out an entire private beach for the event so that they won't be interrupted by any Near Shore residents. The beach is beautiful and well-maintained, the ocean goes for as far as the eye can see, and rocky outcroppings offer a handy place to dive into the water on a test of courage.

It's a beautiful summer day, perfect for swimming and cracking watermelons and playing some beach volleyball. There's even some soft music permeating the air so that nothing is every silent on this fun-filled day.

New arrivals, after having been met at the Meeting Hall, would have been immediately redirected to this party. After all, they should be enjoying themselves as well.



Swimwear

Anyone who doesn't have swimwear will be provided with swimwear to fit their needs. Unfortunately, the Heavens don't have access to a lot of swimwear, so you'll likely wind up with something ugly, something old, or something just plain weird.

Playful Fish

The sea critters are excited about the party too. They're happy to swim up to anyone in the water and will even come up to the shallows to take a look at the fun happening on the shore. Toe nibbling and brushes of scales are in your future, so you'd better get used to the idea if you plan on being in the water.

Barbecue

Some basics have been provided, but everyone has been asked to bring a little something to the barbecue as well if they can. So you're more than welcome to grab one of the many grills and start frying things up. Heck, there are even fishing poles available if you feel like hauling in a few of those friendly fish to grill. Additionally, summery drinks have been provided, including iced tea, lemonade, water, and horribly fruity cocktails.

After Dark

Just because the sun is down doesn't mean that the party's stopping! The barbecue will continue well into the night, lit now by the stars and a huge, roaring bonfire. The bonfire is maintained by Amaterasu's shinki and climbs higher than any bonfire has the right to. Also, there are floating lights in the water so that people can continue swimming now that it's dark. And if you happen to get too drunk to go home, don't worry. A white-clad shinki will be happy to put you back to bed at the end of the night. Additionally, some sparklers and small bottle rockets have been provided for your entertainment.

Oh, no-- not the dog!

[Forgetting completely about the game now, Felicia dashed forth across the sand hoping to intercept the ball, only to watch in stunned silence as the ball was somehow repelled backward by some unseen force. After glancing over her shoulder in the direction of where the ball went (just in case she needed to chase after it some more), Felicia decided to continue approaching the fluffy white dog on the beach.

She dropped to a crouching position as she drew near, and held out a hand for the dog to approach on it's own will.]

I'm so sorry about scaring you, Puppy. You're too cute-- you didn't deserve that!

[Ammy's pretty sure the frozen projectile was flung well enough away from anyone and anything except maybe the water, but she wasn't exactly aiming - just reacted on a triggered impulse, the disc on her back (unseen, it seems like - this girl isn't showing any signs of being able to see her godly form) swirling with rainbow colored flames a little more vigorously. And while Ammy was going to remain grumpy and indignant about almost being beaned in the face, she just...she...just--

Sh-She's just so cute!! ♥

That pink hair like Ammy's favorite cherry blossoms, the demure figure, the endearing bathing suit that hugs her delicate curves so well... Ah~ It's all so nice to look at. Ammy's puffed up fur and growling ceases as she looks the young woman up and down approvingly, stopping on a few key places (take a guess where) and--

Did the dog nod? Yes, she nodded. In appreciation. B)b

Awww~ You're so cute! ♥

[Encouraged by the apparent nod and the wrouf, Felicia reached out to scratch the dog behind her fluffy ears-- and found herself astonished by how deep her hands went into the dogs fur.]

Oh my gosh, you're so soft!

[She squeaked, leaning down to plant a little affectionate kiss on the dog's nose in her delight.]

[Ammy's fur is indeed thick, and very fluffy. She's also quite warm to the touch, like sticking out hand under a gentle sunbeam - perfect for hugging on cold days...which today is not. At all. But Ammy doesn't seem like she's overheated or parched, seeming energetic, bouncy, and all too pleased by these compliments and affectionate touches.

Her eyes squeeze shut as she leans her head into those dainty fingers, tilting her head back as a huge grin spreads on her face, tongue lolling from the side of her open mouth. Ah...yes, yes, that's it right there! Down and to the right, mmmh~ ♥ That spot's been bugging her for hours! She makes an appreciative keening sound, tail thumping the sand pleasantly.

If it takes almost getting nailed in the face by a projectile to get cute girls, then dang she'll take her awful(ly great) luck on this day.]

[Who cared about the heat when there was an adorable dog sitting in front of you? Felicia giggled at her own ramblings when she saw the cute tongue lolling and the giant doggy grin. Felicia continued with the scritching, delighted to have made this accidental friend on the beach that afternoon.]

[Huffing and looking like she's just stepped only the seventh level of heaven itself, Ammy presses herself closer to the cute girl, nuzzling her face and shoulders and trying, like any canine, to jump up and give her face a generous coating of her doggy spit. She is somewhat relentless, and very determined...though she is also very solid for very below the average height and build of a normal wolf, and her claws do kinda hurt...

Worst of all, though?

Her breath smells like hot garbage.
