There were certainly a lot of broken hearts and emotional roller coasters recently, so the Heavens have decided it's time to allow their people to let loose and have some fun for a little while. Through some magic - or possibly just a lot of money - they have managed to rent out an entire private beach for the event so that they won't be interrupted by any Near Shore residents. The beach is beautiful and well-maintained, the ocean goes for as far as the eye can see, and rocky outcroppings offer a handy place to dive into the water on a test of courage.

It's a beautiful summer day, perfect for swimming and cracking watermelons and playing some beach volleyball. There's even some soft music permeating the air so that nothing is every silent on this fun-filled day.

New arrivals, after having been met at the Meeting Hall, would have been immediately redirected to this party. After all, they should be enjoying themselves as well.



Swimwear

Anyone who doesn't have swimwear will be provided with swimwear to fit their needs. Unfortunately, the Heavens don't have access to a lot of swimwear, so you'll likely wind up with something ugly, something old, or something just plain weird.

Playful Fish

The sea critters are excited about the party too. They're happy to swim up to anyone in the water and will even come up to the shallows to take a look at the fun happening on the shore. Toe nibbling and brushes of scales are in your future, so you'd better get used to the idea if you plan on being in the water.

Barbecue

Some basics have been provided, but everyone has been asked to bring a little something to the barbecue as well if they can. So you're more than welcome to grab one of the many grills and start frying things up. Heck, there are even fishing poles available if you feel like hauling in a few of those friendly fish to grill. Additionally, summery drinks have been provided, including iced tea, lemonade, water, and horribly fruity cocktails.

After Dark

Just because the sun is down doesn't mean that the party's stopping! The barbecue will continue well into the night, lit now by the stars and a huge, roaring bonfire. The bonfire is maintained by Amaterasu's shinki and climbs higher than any bonfire has the right to. Also, there are floating lights in the water so that people can continue swimming now that it's dark. And if you happen to get too drunk to go home, don't worry. A white-clad shinki will be happy to put you back to bed at the end of the night. Additionally, some sparklers and small bottle rockets have been provided for your entertainment.

[Sheryl can be seen casually strolling along the sandy path in a two-piece bikini, a pair of sunglasses and a sunhat shielding her eyes. Being stared at is, frankly, nothing new to her (such is the life of an intergalactic pop star) and normally she'd shrug it off, ignore the feeling, and go about her merry way.

Ever the observant person, she can detect the keen gaze boring into the side of her neck and soon enough, the gold umbrella catches her attention as much as the person underneath its shade. So with a graceful pivot of her heels, Sheryl turns around and approaches them, the lightest of hip sways with each step she takes, exuding a thick air of confidence as she usually does.

Also don't mind Sheryl leaning over a bit to peer at the theater script, lifting up her own pair of classy sunglasses for a better look.]

"The Knight of Persailles 2"... never heard of it, but it sounds like a title for an elegant period piece. [A small chuckle as she straightens up once more.] Actor, right?

Occasionally.

[ Oh, thank goodness, a celebrity. Hibiki can tell just by looking. Genius calls to genius, after all, and talent to talent. Here, at last, is someone who probably speaks her language. Here, at last, is proof this entire dimension isn't a waste.

She's come a long way in accepting people who aren't as amazing as she is, but that doesn't mean she wants to surround herself with them.

So she flashes her own very best celebrity smile back to seal the deal. ] I seem to have been cast in a very lofty role recently, though.

[The celebrity aura emitting from this newcomer is impossible for Sheryl to miss, and it seems that she's finally met yet another entertainer like herself. Possibly from different fields in show business, but hey, things can only get better from here. She's at least grateful for that.]

Lofty role? [There's a pause before she nods in understanding, a dramatic sigh out of her lips at Hibiki's remark.] Oh, you mean the role those unprofessional higher-ups who work here put you in. Their management is a mess, and not even a fixable one, too!

Sounds like you've quite a bit of experience.

[ Do go on, challenge these eyes. She's listening.

Celebrity to celebrity. ]

For better or worse. [A beat.] Three months of experience taught me that much.

[Her response may sound serene to match her calm face, but her smile is brittle. The slightest of tension emerges in her brows if Hibiki looks closely.]

Let's just say that every god and shinki has been doing all of their work.

[ Hibiki frowns. That system is real?

No, she refuses to entertain that notion. She will be bound and beholden to no one not of her choosing. She crafts her own rules, laws of the universe be damned. ]

...How unpleasant.
