There were certainly a lot of broken hearts and emotional roller coasters recently, so the Heavens have decided it's time to allow their people to let loose and have some fun for a little while. Through some magic - or possibly just a lot of money - they have managed to rent out an entire private beach for the event so that they won't be interrupted by any Near Shore residents. The beach is beautiful and well-maintained, the ocean goes for as far as the eye can see, and rocky outcroppings offer a handy place to dive into the water on a test of courage.

It's a beautiful summer day, perfect for swimming and cracking watermelons and playing some beach volleyball. There's even some soft music permeating the air so that nothing is every silent on this fun-filled day.

New arrivals, after having been met at the Meeting Hall, would have been immediately redirected to this party. After all, they should be enjoying themselves as well.



Swimwear

Anyone who doesn't have swimwear will be provided with swimwear to fit their needs. Unfortunately, the Heavens don't have access to a lot of swimwear, so you'll likely wind up with something ugly, something old, or something just plain weird.

Playful Fish

The sea critters are excited about the party too. They're happy to swim up to anyone in the water and will even come up to the shallows to take a look at the fun happening on the shore. Toe nibbling and brushes of scales are in your future, so you'd better get used to the idea if you plan on being in the water.

Barbecue

Some basics have been provided, but everyone has been asked to bring a little something to the barbecue as well if they can. So you're more than welcome to grab one of the many grills and start frying things up. Heck, there are even fishing poles available if you feel like hauling in a few of those friendly fish to grill. Additionally, summery drinks have been provided, including iced tea, lemonade, water, and horribly fruity cocktails.

After Dark

Just because the sun is down doesn't mean that the party's stopping! The barbecue will continue well into the night, lit now by the stars and a huge, roaring bonfire. The bonfire is maintained by Amaterasu's shinki and climbs higher than any bonfire has the right to. Also, there are floating lights in the water so that people can continue swimming now that it's dark. And if you happen to get too drunk to go home, don't worry. A white-clad shinki will be happy to put you back to bed at the end of the night. Additionally, some sparklers and small bottle rockets have been provided for your entertainment.

[ Hibiki is starting to think this was a wasted trip. Wherever she's ended up, whatever sort of fate has befallen her, none of these people look like they'll be of any service in sorting it out. They mostly seem preoccupied with amusing themse--

Behind her script, Hibiki frowns. She could have sworn -

There he is again. These people need to stop feeling compelled to move in front of her frame of vision. It's keeping her from verifying what she suspected.

It looks like she is out there. But that can't be. ]

[ Eventually, he'll probably catch her searching around for him? Mikleo's eyes are fixed on her finally after spending too much time trying to find out why there are eyes floating around him. It's very uncommon for him to be watched or looked at. He's used to being invisible so having someone really see him is rather perplexing but intriguing all the time.

Slowly, he excused himself as he made his way over to her. He might as well ask why she was staring at him right? Right? Only, whoa it's almost like staring at a mirror-- female version of himself?? Mikleo Please. ]

Did you need something?

[ At least he wasn't dressed extremely gaudy. He had a zipped up short sleeve hoodie with boy shorts. They were perfect for the heat. ]

[ Now that she's got a good look at this person, Hibiki feels better. Not a doppelgänger after all, then. She's twenty times more attractive than this person. As well as thirty times more dashing, several exponential powers more commanding, and so on, and so forth.

They've attired themselves tolerably, at least.

Still, how unsettling. She blinks, coughs into a fist, gathers her wits. ] A momentary daze. Pay it no heed.

[ Doesn't explain why she looks a bit pale now, though. ]

[ Narcissistic much? Of course, Mikleo doesn't know that so she doesn't get any of the comments from him. Though, they weren't completely the same. He can tell there's something different about her compared to him but the appearance at first glance does seem very uncanny.

He waits for her to speak again as he crosses his arms. ]

You don't say? I felt eyes on my back for a while there. If looks could kill.

[ He replies to her. She does look pale. ]

Are you alright?

It's fine.

[ Hibiki sits back in her chair, picks up her teacup. ] They do say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

[ Siiiiiip. ]

You don't seem certain about it.

[ He crosses his arms as he presses the matter. She really does look bothered by something. ]

Huh? What are you talking about?

[ Seriously, though. ]

Say no more.

[ Hibiki sits back in her chair. In fact, if her newfound suspicions are correct...

....actually, even if they aren't, it's probably best to proceed as if they are anyway. She pulls out a pen and a notecard, then scribbles her autograph.

She adds "Apollo" beneath it with a little laurel branch because that is a thing she can do, now. Being told she's now a performing arts god is the only part of today that has made any sense.

The card is offered to Mikleo between her middle and index fingers, with a twist of her wrist. ] Here. For your support.

[ The whole time Mikleo is watching the girl with a seriously concerned expression. Of course, whatever she's doing changes that seriousness as he stares at the card between her index finger.

What--?

He doesn't get it at all and puts a hand under his chin. ][ Okay he's seriously questioning if something's seriously wrong with this person. ]

What's "Apollo?"

[ he doesn't make any effort to take the card either. What's "Apollo?" ]

[ So, you know, exactly what a fan might expect of Hibiki's next major role.

The not-taking-the-card thing is unexpected, though, so she extends her hand further, trying to press it into his. ] Now, don't be shy.

[ This is her first ever Apollo signature! You have been bestowed a tremendous honor! ]

Riiight....

[ He doesn't really get at all. There's still a look of some confusion on his face. He lived in a strange era where idols and stuff like this doesn't exist. It's hard to wrap his head around it.

He pushed it back finally. ]

I'm not being shy. I don't know why you're giving me a card with-- "Apollo" written on it.

[ He doesn't have any use for it though. ] Is it suppose to do something if I take it?

[ Hibiki miscalculating is impossible. This is, therefore, a completely incomprehensible turn of events. She can't even get mad (or, well, very mad) yet.

In short, now they're both baffled. Go Team Flippy Bangs. ]
