There were certainly a lot of broken hearts and emotional roller coasters recently, so the Heavens have decided it's time to allow their people to let loose and have some fun for a little while. Through some magic - or possibly just a lot of money - they have managed to rent out an entire private beach for the event so that they won't be interrupted by any Near Shore residents. The beach is beautiful and well-maintained, the ocean goes for as far as the eye can see, and rocky outcroppings offer a handy place to dive into the water on a test of courage.

It's a beautiful summer day, perfect for swimming and cracking watermelons and playing some beach volleyball. There's even some soft music permeating the air so that nothing is every silent on this fun-filled day.

New arrivals, after having been met at the Meeting Hall, would have been immediately redirected to this party. After all, they should be enjoying themselves as well.



Swimwear

Anyone who doesn't have swimwear will be provided with swimwear to fit their needs. Unfortunately, the Heavens don't have access to a lot of swimwear, so you'll likely wind up with something ugly, something old, or something just plain weird.

Playful Fish

The sea critters are excited about the party too. They're happy to swim up to anyone in the water and will even come up to the shallows to take a look at the fun happening on the shore. Toe nibbling and brushes of scales are in your future, so you'd better get used to the idea if you plan on being in the water.

Barbecue

Some basics have been provided, but everyone has been asked to bring a little something to the barbecue as well if they can. So you're more than welcome to grab one of the many grills and start frying things up. Heck, there are even fishing poles available if you feel like hauling in a few of those friendly fish to grill. Additionally, summery drinks have been provided, including iced tea, lemonade, water, and horribly fruity cocktails.

After Dark

Just because the sun is down doesn't mean that the party's stopping! The barbecue will continue well into the night, lit now by the stars and a huge, roaring bonfire. The bonfire is maintained by Amaterasu's shinki and climbs higher than any bonfire has the right to. Also, there are floating lights in the water so that people can continue swimming now that it's dark. And if you happen to get too drunk to go home, don't worry. A white-clad shinki will be happy to put you back to bed at the end of the night. Additionally, some sparklers and small bottle rockets have been provided for your entertainment.

[How long was a work shift here? Did the shop people also own the store, and thus live nearby? No, the population of this place is far too large to allow for something like that, the entirety of Radiant Garden's population would probably fit in just a couple of the aisles.

Then Urashima calls out someone else's name, and he turns to see who this new person might be. Maybe they'd want a soda or something.

Nobody's there. Nobody close enough to be within speaking distance, anyway, and after a moment he turns back to Urashima, eyebrows raised.]

Who were you calling?

[Could be an invisible person, but somehow he doubted it given the followup question. Which suggested he'd been called Terra. It would mean more if he recalled that one conversation with Braig, but it had been so long.]

...Anubis now, apparently. I arrived not too long ago. Are you alright?

[It is rather close isn't it. Change Terra's hair color, his skin color just slightly, age him a couple years and give him brown eyes instead of hawk blue..

But it's pretty clear that mis-spoken name isn't ringing any bells either.]

Even their voices are different when he expects to hear someone familiar. It's really weird and he shifts a bit, standing up straighter, just the slightest bit on edge. It isn't anything out of fear or dislike, though-- there's nothing to be afraid of and the boy doesn't have a mean bone in his body. In the face of confusion, it's natural for someone to be a little more alert as they try to find a reason. )

Ah... He's a good kid and can't not answer when an adult addresses him. ) Terra. He's my friend...

And also his god but "god" is just a rank while a friend is lasting. )

What do you mean now? Are you a god?

Because something still doesn't seem right. He's a naive kid but he's sharp (no pun intended). Anubis wasn't a shinki styled named but this guy didn't seem to have any sort of reaction to "Terra" so either this guy is a god with an uncanny resemblence to his own with no memory of Terra or he's a shinki with another name. )

[That's not anything Xehanort connects with hostility, so his own reactions are .. muted. It's interesting, being mistaken for someone else, not a sort of thing that's really happened before. As far as he knew there weren't a whole lot of white haired people out there.

But Urashima's alarm seems to deserve a bit of disarming, if he can manage it.]

I'm told so, but truthfully I feel no different than before. I'm afraid I'm not your friend Terra, nor have I heard the name before. It's a big world here, I suppose there's only so many ways a person can look before someone familiar looking comes along.

[He sounds, and looks, a little amused by it, not alarmed. Easy answers and simple explanations. This world supposedly had BILLIONS in it, how many combinations could there possibly be?

Honest, and interesting mistakes ... but nothing particularly awful. It wasn't as if he was the amnesiac evil bastard who possessed Terra in some other time period or anything and that's why they look similar. Oh wait.]

But if you're looking for him, there's probably a coordinator around here somewhere we could ask. A gathering this size has to have someone running it.

( Also like Terra and Urashima is quiet as he takes that in and processes it. His brows knit together and there’s something like a small frown as he looks to the side, thinking. Everything this guy is saying makes sense, he supposes… But he recovers quickly enough, shaking his head at the suggestion to find a coordinator, )

That’s okay. We always find each other.

Maybe it was a god/shinki thing? Or something to do with Urashima being the type that always returns to someone's side, tbh. )

You said you just got here? Do you have a shinki?

Does the shinki look like him?! That would be weird. )

[At least Anubis is a different pantheon or this could have gotten one tier weirder for Urashima.

As the suggestion to find aid is refused on grounds he really can't argue, Xehanort gives the tiniest of shrugs, accepting it, and begins a patient search of something to drink that isn't at least 50% sugar.]

I believe so. I haven't found them yet, but was told I might be able to find them here and I'll know when I do.

[That was.. dubious. How was he just going to know? Would they be standing around with a sign with his name on it? THAT hadn't happened yet.

There's a moment's pause investigating another bottle's ingredients list.]

If you're a shinki, I'm pretty sure it isn't you though.

[There was absolutely no sense of anything inordinary going on AT ALL, so that can't be it.]

When I first came here, another shinki introduced me to my god. I think they belonged to someone important... ( Or at least, someone official. ) It might be the same person who spoke to you.

So I wouldn't worry! But I think the sooner you find them, the better. It's a little scary when you're alone and new.

[There's a pause, and consideration. There were a lot of people here to try to get through to begin with and he didn't much like being around crowds. Whether or not his shinki was feeling frightened and alone was generally ... not relevant.

But leaving them in such a state could damage future relationships.]

There's a lot of people to sort through. Perhaps it would have been better had we NOT all been shoved towards this gathering right away, and let us find each other first.

[The more he finds out about this place the more he's convinced nobody is actually in control and everyone just does what seems like a good idea at the time.

...Still if you hear someone might be looking for Anubis, could you point them my way if you know where I am at the time? I don't ...really handle crowds all that well and finding them is going to possibly be very hard.
