[Semi-Closed] Heads I Win, Tales You Lose
Who: Schwarz and business acquaintances
What: Meeting Loki's OG Boss
When: June 12
Where: Loki's Hollow
Warnings: General meeting of broken moral compass gods and the poor not-as-bad people who got bonded to them
The icy cavern outside of Loki's Hollow is a fair deterrent to standing around outside of the alcove entrance for very long. If you do know where to find the latch on the little table, it's no trouble at all. It pops the turning door when touched, which leads into the main living space. That much is communal.
Unlike many other temples, Schuldig's isn't very large. Perhaps that's because he has the full expanse of the exterior cavern and a hallway leading into it that he gets to 'guard' as part of his temple. In the warm space, there's really only the two bedrooms and a guest bathroom plus Schuldig's master suite. It's a luxury hotel space tucked away in a mountain, the likes of which have become popular in Europe of late, the kind of place Schuldig spends very little time in unless he's sleeping. That's why it's not an ideal meeting space... unless you want that meeting to be as clandestine as possible in the Far Shore. And today, introducing his shinki to the newly-arrived boss and meeting his shinki in turn, that's about all the temple needs to be used for. At least the entryway-plus-living room is quite large. Maybe they can be convinced to play some cards.
[[OOC: If Schuldig or Crawford hasn't told your character the location of Loki's Hollow, or your character's power doesn't allow them to spy, please ask about finding Schuldig's temple.]]

Well that's a good hint. It makes sense too, if his previous master was more relaxed. He sighs, looking around to make sure Jennifer's not within earshot - nor Crawford and his crew. His tone is both quiet and concerned. Not hesitant, just not happy about having to ask a question he'd prefer to have drawn out the easy way. This is the hard way, asking out loud, as far as he's concerned. "How about I ask straight up - just wondering if you're one of those shinki who's ever thought about going to a different god?"
It's Jen's fault, in his mind. Ever since he found out she went nora on him, he's wondered the same about Mikazuki. It could be for any reason in the book.

Hopefully it would ease some of the unease that was plaguing Schuldig. For a trickster god to resort to direct questioning would be humbling.

He leans against the wall with a bit more relaxation to his spine. Doesn't even seem like his mood swing was noticed, for better or worse. Scratch that, for the better, considering Jennifer did notice and apparently did something about it. "Alright remind me - did you say you had or hadn't done any prayers with your old god? Before I go listening for one kind or another that suits your skills."

"We did, of course. I can't be lazing about all day. One time we tried to cheer up a lady whose daughter went missing and bought her nice things like a tea set and teddy bears."
And of course, the usual ayakashi slaying. The last time Mikazuki did so with his god was the last time he saw him as a god.

In the wake of his month of being bespelled, he's double-checking everything he thought he knew to make sure there wasn't some kind of lingering effect to his memory. He knew part of that time period included trying to attack corpses with Mikazuki, but how well they'd gotten along at the time... that worried him.
Either way, it's good information, as much as he doesn't care about old ladies and teddy bears and tea to cheer her up. The ayakashi slaying he does care about. He'd started to hear some shinki mention how they weren't comfortable attacking ayakashi. "Alright... Crawford and I need to visit our old stomping grounds, but after that I'll hunt some ayakashi with you."
