[Yoon has come seeking this mysterious library, where books are available all the time and not quarantined off to the wealthy or powerful or gods or those with close ties to the same. A place everyone can read! And probably write! They're not skills to be taken lightly, in his opinion.
As a result, Yoon is wandering through nearly every section the library has, reading book titles and pulling the bigger ones to look at the covers before returning them to their spots. Recipe books he starts taking notes from, same with herbal remedies and designs of some plants that are supposed to be native to South America, where his god's domain is. Oh yes and South American mythology, once he asked for any information about Itzpapalotl.
He also pulls out maps of all sorts - geography and plot maps and borrows a globe that was probably just supposed to be decoration in order to compare the two. He's very, very excited by all of it, smiling far more than anyone who knows him slightly may have guessed was possible.]

Lavi (1st person he meets when he gets there)
Excuse me, are you Lavi?
[He's not yelling so it may be hard to recognize the young man who had such an interest in the books yet didn't know what a library was.]
no subject
Upon recognizing the boy, he smiles and gives him a wave.]
That'll be me over here.
no subject
Ah... Nice to meet you. It's Yoon.
[Might as well go with a reminder.]
You can read this much...?
[It's impressive to him by a long shot.]
no subject
[He gestures for Yoon to join him, moving some books over to the side.
At the question, he has the decency to look a bit sheepish.]
I can. Fortunately, I'm able to memorize everything I read.

stalkingfollowing people who have no reason to want to see you again, ever would be made rather easier if one did it wearing... not a cloak. At some point in between Kouka and whatever happened to get them all here, people have apparently stopped wearing them. Maybe because they go everywhere when you're just trying tostalkfollow someone at a careful distance and make it very difficult to stop them from seeing you.[Not that this would be a problem because anyone can go out in public and go... wherever it is Yoon is going, and trip over a pile of books on the way, seriously, people, look after your belongings.
[Kija picks them up. Adds them to the pile.
[Of course, when he gets to wherever it is Yoon is going that is absolutely and entirely a public place that anybody can be in if they want to be, really! It turns out to be... full of books.
[Well, now he feels a bit silly standing here with a small pile of the things in his arms. Bring the books to say Hello to... all the other books. The one positive, he thinks as he flattens himself against a shelf and peers round the side at the back of Yoon's head, is that this appears to be a library, and that means these books have to stay where they are. His own small pile, plus or minus the three other books he nearly fell over on his way in here, Yoon can do whatever he likes with. Take them home and... and make a small fort?
[Of course, now that he's here Kija doesn't really know what he's supposed to do now--
[He settles for stealth.
[Well... okay, the cloak is still an issue. That and the general lack of other white things he could attempt to blend in with. But he doesn't have any better ideas and these books - and the small card he has placed on top of them (both sides and part of the back near-filled with an exceedingly profuse apology, a good forty percent of which has been scribbled out for fear of Saying Too Much again), need to get to their owner somehow. So, stealth it is...
[Right up to the point there is literally nothing else for it but to run right over to Yoon, drop the books in an untidy heap by his side, then flee back behind the safety of the nearest bookcase. Just in case looking at him is a bad idea, too...
[He can't quite help peering back round again afterward, though.
[Just checking.]
no subject
Except why then would he be so convinced he has to be quiet? Maybe he doesn't want to remember what happened any more than Yoon does. Once or twice he tries to turn around and nearly catches Kija in the act, but then he hides again. Yoon keeps walking.
He spends a long time with Lavi before finally separating from him and looking over to find his stalker again. Before he can though, Kija runs up and deposits the books near him, then runs off again.
................. Excuse you.]
Oi! What are you doing leaving these here?
[If they're his books, he should be taking care of them, not leaving a mess for Yoon to pick up!
Also: Yoon doesn't have library manners, so he does get shushed for the outburst.]
no subject
[First off, he could claim that he had done nothing of the sort; that the books had simply happened to land there. Perhaps a particularly strong draft had been involved. The major problem with this is that it is a lie, the second is that it is not even a particularly good one, and the third is that he rather wants Yoon to take the books away with him.
[Secondly, he could simply bolt. Or vanish. They can do that, here, and Yoon is certainly smart enough to tell the difference between a book that belongs in a library and one which belongs to, well, him. The problem with this is that it would be incredibly impolite.
[Which leaves option number three, which is by far the least desirable but is honestly the only one that is not incredibly rude or completely implausible: stay put and talk it out.
[The problem is he doesn't know what to say, or even if it's safe to look at Yoon right now, and unlike Yoon he is horribly aware that places like this are supposed to be quiet. Even if he wasn't, there are the signs, insinuating or suggesting or outright demanding that The Rule Of Silence Must Be Observed In The Library. You do not argue with a sign. So... well, either he has to go a lot closer or he can try and raise his voice in a quiet kind of way.
[That seems safer. We will try that.]
They are yours--!
[Did he hear that? Maybe it would help if he at least looked back round.]
I want you to have them!

[ This is the first time Hibiki's left her temple in two days. She doesn't care enough to take her head out of the book she's picked up and was reading on her way out (Do-It-Yourself Homemaking For Bajillionares Expanded Edition: With Suggestions For Operating on Limited Staff), but she couldn't help but notice that globe.
And this is never going to stop bothering her. ]

I'm not a library worker, but how can the names be wrong?
[ He says with the utmost confidence that there's so much work involved with getting published that it can't possibly be wrong. ]
no subject
[ That should do for now. A shrug as she replaces her writing implements. She has nothing but arch, almost bored disdain for whoever let this globe go to print - and whoever dared believe it. ] I could go on.
[ Yes, she knows that this world probably uses different names for these countries. But clearly, the names she knows are the true names. Everyone else is lying. ]

Or the opposite of that, but different from how it was now.
So Zeno let him do his little ritual, and went looking for Yoon himself. Because who else would Kija be leaving such a gift for?]
Hey, hey! [As soon as he spots him, and he jogs over.]
Did you have lunch already, or are you only feeding your eyes today?
no subject
Still, Zeno is not someone he expected to see today and he has no idea of the connection between Kija and Zeno.]
Ah, it's you - every time we've met now, there's food involved. Are you sure you're not a god of food or something?
[Not that he's complaining, although as he stands up he looks down at the books.]
I really don't want anyone else touching these before I'm done with them though...

[After all, they told him he was a god of youth. Who was to say he wasn't also a god of some other thing.]

That's how he spots Yoon, from up above on the shelves. And he grins to himself as he idly picks up a book and...
Drops it right in front of Yoon before hiding himself.]

[Yoon immediately looks down, but it's not fast enough to catch the guy who did it.]
What the... I wonder if it's one of those pests again!
[He kneels down to look at the book first, then stands up and looks around.]
Oi - show yourself you book-snatching thief!

[It does smell like old things and Yoon loves it. He's in a much better mood by the time she finds him.]
Ah! Kaya! Over here!
[He gets shushed again for at least the fifth time, but ends up walking over to her so that he doesn't shout again.] Hi, I'm Yoon. Nice to meet you in person. Are those the books? [He points to her armful, still clearly excited by the prospect of them.]

Yep, here you go! [She hands over the spell book first of all.] I hope the spell helps you. Should we sit?

By pure chance, he noticed that one of the books he wanted to reference was right there while Yoon was taking notes about recipes. Don't mind him, he was just going to take one of those books on herbal remedies while Yoon wasn't--actually no, Ross was going to take that book regardless of whether he was looking or not.]
no subject
[They reach for the herbal remedies book at the same time and Yoon presses his hand on it out of sheer surprise.]
Oi. What do you think you're doing?
[He's been in this aisle all day hunting for various books and he's never seen this guy before. It's a fair reaction as far as he's concerned.]
no subject
[Uhhhhhh. At least he was honest about it? He withdrew his hand, to his credit. What wasn't to his credit was him snapping his fingers in an attempt to teleport the book to his hand.]

July 14th: Tanabata Prayer #35
[Okay so yesterday was pretty crazy, and not in a good way. After the dust settled, a little, Yoon contacts Goten. He remembered a Tanzaku paper he'd read about takoyaki and ikayaki and tuna and salmon. None of those were things Yoon himself had made a lot of, he thought, outside of the Beach Party. So it stuck with him.
Now, he's just looking for any excuse to get the boy back over to the school, knowing that Hakkai won't be there but also knowing it's the nicest kitchen he has access to - and big enough to make several attempts at these foods. So he waits.]
no subject
The double doors open and Goten pokes his head in, looking around before entering. It's hard to miss that mop of auburn hair.]
Hey Yoon!
[He grins, walking over to him, clearly excited]
no subject
[He gestures to the many different kinds of raw seafood he has prepared for the sake of their 'lesson' today.]
I was curious if any of these foods looked like good ones to try out today, or if your god might not like seafood.
[He doesn't know about Goten's interest in cooking with and for Izumo, so that's where he starts - with Goten's god.]
We can try to make different things a few times today, so you get to practice.
