Summary: Training sessions for everyone to learn more about their abilities and jobs!
Many people have been wanting to know more about their abilities and what they are required to do here in the Far Shore. So, in conjunction with Bishamonten, the Heavens have seen fit to offer an open training session for everyone to participate in. Here you will be able to learn anything and everything about what you should be able to do and what is expected of you in your new positions.
Bishamon's temple is sweeping and gorgeous, having previously been home to hundreds of shinki. She has graciously offered to hold this training session and will be available to help anyone who needs it.

Many people have been wanting to know more about their abilities and what they are required to do here in the Far Shore. So, in conjunction with Bishamonten, the Heavens have seen fit to offer an open training session for everyone to participate in. Here you will be able to learn anything and everything about what you should be able to do and what is expected of you in your new positions.
Bishamon's temple is sweeping and gorgeous, having previously been home to hundreds of shinki. She has graciously offered to hold this training session and will be available to help anyone who needs it.
Equipment
- Various kinds of mannequins and dummies have been provided for practice, as well as targets that are either stationary or move, depending on your will. Punching bags, jumping blocks, and a large pool area have also been provided for your use, so that you can find a tool for pretty much anything that you might need to practice. Plenty of practice weapons of various weights, sizes, and shapes are also available upon request from any of the many white-clad shinki that are also attending today.
God Training
- Bishamon herself will be the foremost source of information regarding being a god and what is expected of you. It is also encouraged that gods group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.
Shinki Training
- Various shinki are available to help with shinki training, including Kazuma and all of Bishamon's shinki. Additionally, the white-clad shinki will be more than happy to train you on using the borderline and some of the basics of what is expected of a shinki. It is also encouraged that shinki group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.
Refreshments
- There is a refreshments table provided. It is covered with light snacks and various kinds of hydrating drinks. There is a little sitting area set up for people to relax in after they have finished their training or if they're even just taking a quick break to cool down. The Heavens want you to stay in good condition!

The question just gets a confused scowl.] No. [It's hard to tell if he genuinely doesn't get it or if he's just being difficult and doesn't want to put two and two together. Axel is in for a fun time.]

Regardless of Ken's demeanor, Axel's still high on the strongest feeling he's had in more than a decade. His grin barely fades, and what fading does occur is more due to focusing on how to dumb this down than any disappointment.]
You're one of my shinki now, is what I'm saying. You want to get out of here? I've got a temple, or there's this combat training thing today... [Yes, Chikusa, he got your text.]

Besides, if somebody's telling him to do it, he can't get in trouble, right? Which is good, because he's not...really clear on what kinds of trouble there might be, in a place like this. He doesn't have any frames of reference to draw from, and even if he did he's not sure they'd apply here.
If he were a more self-analytical sort, he might wonder why fighting seems to be his remedy to things, or even if he has any combat skills to draw on(although the former would probably suggest the latter). And, as a shinki, he'd probably uncomfortably abandon those questions as soon as he asked them. He never even gets close to asking them, however. All he knows or cares about is that he wants it, so he'll pursue it.]

[He moves away from the wall and closer to Axel, not so much sayinf he'll follow as wordlessly indicating it.]
What's a temple like, anyway? [He has to wonder. Even if he had all his memories, he wouldn't know this.] Is there food? [This is the important question, however.]

[Axel holds out a hand, palm up, fingers slightly splayed and curved, half expecting to have to explain this gesture on top of everything else. He would sigh, but that'd be rude. Instead, he does his best to keep a smile on his face.]
I'm not positive where her temple is, so it may take a few jumps... Temples are weird.
[He shrugs. What can he say? He's got little experience with different temples. There was the party at Roxas and Sora's, and his own of course, and a haunted abandoned temple, but he's not seen many.]
They're all different. Mine looks like a house with a ton of fireplaces on the inside, but it's all marble on the outside, and yes, there's food too. We can go there after.

It's a strangely comfortable feeling, the most reassuring thing he's felt since his arrival, and Ken sinks gratefully into it. A tool is important. People look after their tools. Even gods, probably. So as long as he's a good tool, he'll be okay.
Axel will no doubt be able to feel how quickly those turbulent emotions have settled into something relaxed and, if not fully friendly, then at least open and willing.
Although Ken reacts almost defensively to Axel's hand, leaning back a little.] What? I don't have anything. [He actually doesn't, but he's reacting like a child being told to give back the cookie they filched from the jar. He thinks Axel wants Ken to hand something over, as opposed to just...giving his actual hand.]

The opposition to his hand, thusly, elicits a chuckle. It's a little bit patronizing, but it's not too bad; the laugh of someone about to let you in on an inside joke. Axel gets the feeling he'll be using it a lot in the days to come, so long as it doesn't offend.]
It's not that... take my hand, Ken. I can't teleport you without touching, and I like to keep things consensual.
[Some gods don't care about their shinki's feelings. Some don't even care about their health and safety. Axel is not one of those gods. He's been used, threatened, chewed up and spit out. If he has to be the boss, he's going to be better than his was.]

[Almost as soon as Ken touches his hand, Axel focuses his energy into the first hop, towards where the old gods of Japan tend to stay. To Ken, it'll feel warm, but also like movement. Not nearly as much as it should be, though. The warmth is explained if he looks behind them during the brief movement - they're trailing fire.
The second hop occurs only one Axel has found Bishamon's temple, which takes a few seconds, but there's only one with white-clad shinki waiting outside to welcome people. It's also a much shorter jump, though that's really one second as opposed to two. They arrive at the door in a circle of flame that warms, but does not burn.]

I saw fire but I don't smell it, byon... [This is probably because magical godly fire isn't actually burning any fuel to create smell. But Ken's always been sensitive to smell, so it's weirding him out a bit.]

[As a further demonstration, Axel lights a fire just above his hand. As before, there's no fuel, just his own energy, but this one will burn anything it touches. The white-robed shinki nearby look... a little concerned.]
