Summary: Training sessions for everyone to learn more about their abilities and jobs!



Many people have been wanting to know more about their abilities and what they are required to do here in the Far Shore. So, in conjunction with Bishamonten, the Heavens have seen fit to offer an open training session for everyone to participate in. Here you will be able to learn anything and everything about what you should be able to do and what is expected of you in your new positions.

Bishamon's temple is sweeping and gorgeous, having previously been home to hundreds of shinki. She has graciously offered to hold this training session and will be available to help anyone who needs it.



Equipment

Various kinds of mannequins and dummies have been provided for practice, as well as targets that are either stationary or move, depending on your will. Punching bags, jumping blocks, and a large pool area have also been provided for your use, so that you can find a tool for pretty much anything that you might need to practice. Plenty of practice weapons of various weights, sizes, and shapes are also available upon request from any of the many white-clad shinki that are also attending today.

God Training

Bishamon herself will be the foremost source of information regarding being a god and what is expected of you. It is also encouraged that gods group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Shinki Training

Various shinki are available to help with shinki training, including Kazuma and all of Bishamon's shinki. Additionally, the white-clad shinki will be more than happy to train you on using the borderline and some of the basics of what is expected of a shinki. It is also encouraged that shinki group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Refreshments

There is a refreshments table provided. It is covered with light snacks and various kinds of hydrating drinks. There is a little sitting area set up for people to relax in after they have finished their training or if they're even just taking a quick break to cool down. The Heavens want you to stay in good condition!

[This is probably the first thing that's earned a genuine laugh out of Yuri in...well, a long time. The whole situation is a little ridiculous, but that doesn't mean he doesn't appreciate it. He's needed something like this.]

It sounds like your grandma and my grandpa would get along.

Grandma got along with most people. It was difficult not to like her.

[ At least, in Tendou's memory that was the case. And how could he not remember her as perfect? He's still quoting her about once a week to this day, after all. ]

This? This is oden. It's a Japanese staple.

[ And if you're going to be in Japanese heaven, you need to get used to Japanese food. So decides the Greek Titan of the Sun. (Wait, what?) He scoops out a bowl of soup, a slab of fishcake, tofu, and various other ingredients floating in it and slides it over. ]

Have it while it's hot.

[ He's confident in his cooking. And for good reason. ]

[It better not be chopsticks. What do the Japanese have against forks and spoons anyway? Sticks aren't for eating with.]

[ It is, in fact... chopsticks. Tendou glances at the contained filled with them to his side. ]

Is this your first time having Japanese food?

[ He's blond enough for it. Even if this is Japanese heaven. ]

[He points accusingly at the container of chopsticks and glares.]

What the fuck is wrong with Japan?! In Russia, we eat with proper silverware like civilized people! Get me a spoon!

[He doesn't ask for much out of life.]

[ Ah. He's facing an idiot. This is definitely an idiot. So decides Tendou Souji. ]

Chopsticks have a long and proud history. But thankfully, I do have a spoon prepared.

[ He pulls one out. It's made of plastic. And has a cute bear on it. It's clearly made for children.

Because what Japanese adult can't use chopsticks? ]

[He's been given utensils for little kids so often during the time he's spent in Japan that he thinks that's just how they're supposed to look, so he snatches the spoon without comment.]

About time.

[He grabs the bowl and starts shoveling food into his mouth. His table manners leave something to be desired, to the point where one wonders if he was raised by wolves.]

I don't care about history. You need to learn how to use spoons.

[He talks with his mouth open, too.]

[ Tendou looks at the soup ladle in his hand, then at Viktor, then at the ladle again. Does he honestly think spoons are beyond them? ]

You're eating too fast. You'll burn your throat.

[He burned his tongue a little to start, but no one needs to know that.]

I'm not the one who doesn't know how to eat right!

[That...doesn't seem to be the case...]

[ Tendou pours out a tall glass of cold water he retrieved from behind the counter, and sets it down on the bar. ]

Since you're such an expert at eating, and everything.

Sorry so late! I've been sick.

[He scowls at the glass of water like it's personally offending him. He could use it, he really could, but there's no way he can even touch it now.]

You're damn right I don't need it! Keep your stupid water!

[He shovels more food in his mouth. He'll burn off the whole roof of his mouth first. No one has to know.]

He'd really prefer it if people enjoyed his food, but this is clearly well-deserved. ]
