Summary: Training sessions for everyone to learn more about their abilities and jobs!



Many people have been wanting to know more about their abilities and what they are required to do here in the Far Shore. So, in conjunction with Bishamonten, the Heavens have seen fit to offer an open training session for everyone to participate in. Here you will be able to learn anything and everything about what you should be able to do and what is expected of you in your new positions.

Bishamon's temple is sweeping and gorgeous, having previously been home to hundreds of shinki. She has graciously offered to hold this training session and will be available to help anyone who needs it.



Equipment

Various kinds of mannequins and dummies have been provided for practice, as well as targets that are either stationary or move, depending on your will. Punching bags, jumping blocks, and a large pool area have also been provided for your use, so that you can find a tool for pretty much anything that you might need to practice. Plenty of practice weapons of various weights, sizes, and shapes are also available upon request from any of the many white-clad shinki that are also attending today.

God Training

Bishamon herself will be the foremost source of information regarding being a god and what is expected of you. It is also encouraged that gods group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Shinki Training

Various shinki are available to help with shinki training, including Kazuma and all of Bishamon's shinki. Additionally, the white-clad shinki will be more than happy to train you on using the borderline and some of the basics of what is expected of a shinki. It is also encouraged that shinki group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Refreshments

There is a refreshments table provided. It is covered with light snacks and various kinds of hydrating drinks. There is a little sitting area set up for people to relax in after they have finished their training or if they're even just taking a quick break to cool down. The Heavens want you to stay in good condition!

[ Demyx would say he deserves a break by now -- after all, he’s done his (measly half-hour of) time in practice, so he’s earned it!

Plus, after selfishly grabbing up more than his fair share of offered snacks and beverages, (enough to make a pretty ample dinner, honestly), he’s got a fully belly and he’s ready for what naturally should come next: A nap. And someone’s already found the perfect hideaway to do it. ]

Now he’s got the right idea!

[ And he looks like he wants to be alone with it. But Demyx is basically oblivious to social cues, (read: he just doesn’t care), and no one’s ever been rude to him when he’s approached and randomly drummed up conversation, so... here he is, invading a stranger’s personal space by sitting down under the tree next to them.

Please let him live. ]

[ Mikoto is a heavy sleeper. An extremely heavy sleeper. The unmistakable of sense of impending danger is the one thing that penetrates through the layers of sleep to set him into action. Unfortunately, Demyx doesn't exactly pose a threat. So he keeps on sleeping, undisturbed by his companion. ]

[ Perfect.

And no, Demyx poses exactly zero threat to anyone and everyone. Including ayakashi, which is what basically mandates he find himself here. He’s just about had his ass handed to him already, if not for Riku. And while he’s good at taking his own advice, (“Run, run away!”), sooner or later, he’ll run out of room to do that and find himself backed into a corner.

But a solid half hour of “training” is good enough to call it a day, right? Right. Now loaded up on food and drinks, he’s content to camp out next to this comatose stranger. When Demyx’s arrival doesn’t disturb him, he sees fit to hum to himself.

Which makes him vaguely disappointed. ]

I really need to get some musical instruments...

[ The light humming penetrates through the layers of sleep simply due to it's foreign presence. Slowly, the Red King starts to awaken until half-lidded golden eyes look up at the bard. ]

Ah! Hey, so you're awake!

[ Not like that matters to him at all. He has no investments here. ]

Anyone ever tell you you sleep like the dead? For a while I thought you might be, like, comatose or something.

[ Nope just mute. ]

[lionhearrt]

[ He barely catches half the words and instead of answering he pushes himself up to a sitting position and scratches his stomach underneath his shirt as he looks over at him. ]

Who are you

Me? [ No, Dem, the tree. ] I’m Demyx!

Who are you?

[lionhearrt]

[ A grumpy look. Why are you so lively this early in the morning? He runs a hand through his hair trying to wipe off the cobwebs of sleep. ]

Mikoto Suoh.

[ A redhead who's grumpy in the mornings, particularly about being woken up... It should sound like a familiar circumstance, but. Welp. Drawing a blank, here.

After a couple blinks, the Nobody shrugs aimlessly. There's no 'nice to meet you' or anything of the sort offered, nor is there an apology prompted by the very obvious attempts by the other to wake up fully after being disturbed. ]

Hey, you don't have to wake up on my account, man.

[ Yeah, just... stay there and be annoyed by his humming. That sounds lovely to Mikoto, doesn't it? ]
