Summary: Training sessions for everyone to learn more about their abilities and jobs!



Many people have been wanting to know more about their abilities and what they are required to do here in the Far Shore. So, in conjunction with Bishamonten, the Heavens have seen fit to offer an open training session for everyone to participate in. Here you will be able to learn anything and everything about what you should be able to do and what is expected of you in your new positions.

Bishamon's temple is sweeping and gorgeous, having previously been home to hundreds of shinki. She has graciously offered to hold this training session and will be available to help anyone who needs it.



Equipment

Various kinds of mannequins and dummies have been provided for practice, as well as targets that are either stationary or move, depending on your will. Punching bags, jumping blocks, and a large pool area have also been provided for your use, so that you can find a tool for pretty much anything that you might need to practice. Plenty of practice weapons of various weights, sizes, and shapes are also available upon request from any of the many white-clad shinki that are also attending today.

God Training

Bishamon herself will be the foremost source of information regarding being a god and what is expected of you. It is also encouraged that gods group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Shinki Training

Various shinki are available to help with shinki training, including Kazuma and all of Bishamon's shinki. Additionally, the white-clad shinki will be more than happy to train you on using the borderline and some of the basics of what is expected of a shinki. It is also encouraged that shinki group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Refreshments

There is a refreshments table provided. It is covered with light snacks and various kinds of hydrating drinks. There is a little sitting area set up for people to relax in after they have finished their training or if they're even just taking a quick break to cool down. The Heavens want you to stay in good condition!

[ She giggles again at the contact, smiling happily. Then, remembering what she'd been doing before her thoughts wandered off on her, she holds up her plate in offering to him. ]

Do you want a cookie? They're pretty yummy.

[A head shake to support his words.]

I'm afraid I don't like sweets that much.

[ Her eyes widen, because really? That's a shame, Mister. ]

Oh. Sorry. I had an apple, too, but I ate it. Did you get something to eat?

[Sweets has never really been appealing to him.]

I did. You should eat, though, Nanako if you're still hungry.

I am, a little. But I didn't know if you were.

[ She'd go get you something else, if you were? ]

I'm not.

[He gives her a smile.]

So go ahead and eat.

Okay. [ She still looks a little shy about that but she smiles at him as she takes a bite out of her cookie. ] Thank you!

Are you here with your god?

I am. [There's a light chuckle.]

He's probably off sleeping somewhere, though.

Sleeping?

[ She echoes that curiously a moment before going still with a start, eyes widening slightly. ]

Does he... have red hair?

[Eyebrow raise.]

He does. Why?

[ Nanako gives a guilty start. ]

Noooo reason?

[ Yeah, that probably wasn't very convincing. ]

Nanako.

[His tone comes out as only mildly stern.]

[ Oh no dad voice... ]

I... might have... dropped some water on him earlier. It was an accident! He wouldn't wake up! I thought he had worked too hard or passed out or something!

[That.

That gets Izumo to laugh.

Because honestly, the last thing he expected was for him to hear about that.]

[ Welp. At least he hadn't gotten upset with her.

Still, she looks embarrassed about it, fidgeting with her cookie. ]

D'you think I made him mad?

[toremainbehind]

[The genuine worry in her voice has Izumo sobering up, even as a few chuckles escapes from him.]

No, I don't think you made him mad.

[Places a hand on top of her head.]

Did he even seem mad when you spilled that water on him?

Well, noooo. Not really. But he made it all go poof! right away. Can he do magic too?

It's possible.

[A hint of a smile.]

But if he didn't seem mad at you, then you shouldn't worry about it.

[ She doesn't look entirely convinced, but she'll take him at his words, settling back down with a relieved look. ]

Okay, if you say so. If he was, though, I could make him cookies or something to say sorry. Unless he doesn't like sweets either?

[There's a brief pause as Izumo thinks about it.

Mikoto didn't seem like the type to eat sweets, but:]

Not sweets, but perhaps you can just make him some food. Any food is fine.

I don't know how to cook a lot yet. Just some sweets. And eggs. And onigiri. And the stuff my big brother taught me to make for my lunches.
