Summary: Training sessions for everyone to learn more about their abilities and jobs!



Many people have been wanting to know more about their abilities and what they are required to do here in the Far Shore. So, in conjunction with Bishamonten, the Heavens have seen fit to offer an open training session for everyone to participate in. Here you will be able to learn anything and everything about what you should be able to do and what is expected of you in your new positions.

Bishamon's temple is sweeping and gorgeous, having previously been home to hundreds of shinki. She has graciously offered to hold this training session and will be available to help anyone who needs it.



Equipment

Various kinds of mannequins and dummies have been provided for practice, as well as targets that are either stationary or move, depending on your will. Punching bags, jumping blocks, and a large pool area have also been provided for your use, so that you can find a tool for pretty much anything that you might need to practice. Plenty of practice weapons of various weights, sizes, and shapes are also available upon request from any of the many white-clad shinki that are also attending today.

God Training

Bishamon herself will be the foremost source of information regarding being a god and what is expected of you. It is also encouraged that gods group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Shinki Training

Various shinki are available to help with shinki training, including Kazuma and all of Bishamon's shinki. Additionally, the white-clad shinki will be more than happy to train you on using the borderline and some of the basics of what is expected of a shinki. It is also encouraged that shinki group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Refreshments

There is a refreshments table provided. It is covered with light snacks and various kinds of hydrating drinks. There is a little sitting area set up for people to relax in after they have finished their training or if they're even just taking a quick break to cool down. The Heavens want you to stay in good condition!

[Barry grins, hefting the axe in both hands.]

[ Mikleo replied with a small smile. ]

I could use the practice and I do not mind assisting you.

Okay, then!

[Barry grins, taking a step back and hefting his axe.]

Show me what ya got!

[water_meebo]

Alright.

[ Mikleo smiled, sensing his determination. ]

I'll use my own weapon if that's okay.

[ The Shink will let Barry go ahead and take the first hit as he stands guard. ]

Yeah, whatever you're comfortable with.

[Barry hefts his axe, nodding.]

Here I come, then!

[It's clear he hasn't trained all that much, because his form isn't terribly practiced. What his swing does have, though, is a lot of raw power.]

[water_meebo]

Alright.

[ He stands there and waits for a moment. When the other came swinging at him, Mikleo lets his dominant hand summon his Staff and he twirls it right at Barry in order to parry the raw axe's power. ]

[All too quickly, and in one fluid motion, Barry's momentum is turned against him and he's suddenly standing on the other side of Mikleo looking confused as hell.]

Huh? What the...?

[water_meebo]

I'm sorry, did I overdo it? Are you alright?

[ Barry looked utterly confused as Mikleo parried him. He wasn't intending to hurt him in any way. ]

How'd you do that? You barely even moved!

[He's all right, just amazed.]

Oh, uh well I wasn't a human in my world, so I have abilities that are a bit beyond human capabilities.

[ He's glad the other is okay. ]

I did spend a lot of time practicing as well.

[very_goodman]

Oh yeah? What kinda thing were you back home?

[Yeah, he's uninjured, he just had his balance thrown off.]

I was called a Seraph. Seraphim for plural. We were basically beings capable of creating domains and blessing humans that pray to us. It's much like a Shinkis' job here but it's a bit more complicated than that.

[ He's glad to hear as he starts his storm of explanation for Barry. ]

Kinda sounds more like what the gods do to me. Sounds like a tough job, too.

Yes, I suppose Shinkis are very similar to the Seraphim. The purpose isn't all that different either.

Huh. Guess it really does take all kinds of people to make the world go 'round.

[water_meebo]

I believe so. Did your world have different types of individuals living among each other?

[very_goodman]

Beats me! I don't remember any of that.

[water_meebo]

I see. I suppose those of us without memories do struggle a bit with things.

How'd you remember so much stuff, anyway? You're a shinki too, ain't ya?

I remember the essentials of what it was like to live in my world along with the knowledge that is provided about that world. However, there are blotches, missing pieces and people that I cannot remember. From what I deducted of my current situation. I remember pretty much everything except the important things about myself. I don't know when I was born where I came from or who I spent my time with. I only have feelings of nostalgia or something I say sounds familiar. Other than that I don't remember much at all.

[ Woop, he sort of of got Mikleo talking. ]

Wow... ya figured all that out on your own without stingin' your god or turnin' into an ayakashi? I oughta think harder about this.

[water_meebo]

I figured it was just the basis that wouldn't cause one to harbor any blight to their gods on top of not turning into ayakashi. At least that's what I recall. I don't remember faces or people or anyone that I am close to. Much less what my past life as like. I just know about the world I came from and its common knowledge along with the ability to fight. Are you not the same?

[He scratches his head.]

I guess so. I mean, I know a lot about music an' stuff.

Music huh? What kind of music if you don't mind the question.

[ Of course he'll never stop asking because the words "music" got him. ]
