Summary: Training sessions for everyone to learn more about their abilities and jobs!



Many people have been wanting to know more about their abilities and what they are required to do here in the Far Shore. So, in conjunction with Bishamonten, the Heavens have seen fit to offer an open training session for everyone to participate in. Here you will be able to learn anything and everything about what you should be able to do and what is expected of you in your new positions.

Bishamon's temple is sweeping and gorgeous, having previously been home to hundreds of shinki. She has graciously offered to hold this training session and will be available to help anyone who needs it.



Equipment

Various kinds of mannequins and dummies have been provided for practice, as well as targets that are either stationary or move, depending on your will. Punching bags, jumping blocks, and a large pool area have also been provided for your use, so that you can find a tool for pretty much anything that you might need to practice. Plenty of practice weapons of various weights, sizes, and shapes are also available upon request from any of the many white-clad shinki that are also attending today.

God Training

Bishamon herself will be the foremost source of information regarding being a god and what is expected of you. It is also encouraged that gods group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Shinki Training

Various shinki are available to help with shinki training, including Kazuma and all of Bishamon's shinki. Additionally, the white-clad shinki will be more than happy to train you on using the borderline and some of the basics of what is expected of a shinki. It is also encouraged that shinki group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Refreshments

There is a refreshments table provided. It is covered with light snacks and various kinds of hydrating drinks. There is a little sitting area set up for people to relax in after they have finished their training or if they're even just taking a quick break to cool down. The Heavens want you to stay in good condition!

[ Yata just snickers at that, because the guy looks kinda thrilled at the prospect. ]

How should I know? You're the god, right? Aren't you supposed to know everything or something? It's not like I know anything more about you than you do.

[ Or anything, for that matter, the reminder making him frown fiercely for a moment and avert his gaze, one hand clenching into a fist at his side in frustration before he forces it loose and relaxed once more. ]

And I don't know the answer to that, either. I was hoping my god could tell me. And also maybe why I can do this.

[ He concentrates for a moment, holding up his hand in front of him. For a moment, nothing happens and then whoosh!, flames appear, enveloping his hand and arm in Red Aura.

Every since he'd done it by accident when trying out a Borderline, he's been practicing more, trying to figure out how he can to this at all. ]

[armigers]

[ If he's supposed to know everything, then they're really screwed here because Noctis has no idea what he's actually supposed to be doing right now. Probably not eyeing the table of food and refreshments the way he is.

He's just about to respond to the comment when the red flames burst upwards, and Noctis automatically takes a step back to avoid being charred. How many times is this guy going to accidentally try and scar up his face today? ]

Stop that! You could have just said you have fire magic.

[ Sure, showing it off is hard to resist, but Noctis can one-up him if he feels like it. He'd just rather not set this nice training ground ablaze, that's all. ]

You sure you're not my shinki? Magic is usually something the-

[ -royal family can pass along to their subjects, but he bites his tongue, thinking twice about speaking of his background to anyone here. He still has no idea if anyone from Niflheim is around and looking to drop down and kill him. Might as well let everyone think he's just a god. ]

It just feels like something that my shinki might be able to do.

[ He shrugs and scratches at the back of his neck, trying to look casual and nonchalant about the whole thing. ]

[ Whoa, chill, dude. It wasn't even that much fire. Although Yata just smirks at the reaction he gets out of the other guy from it. ]

But this way's more fun. besides, it's cool, right? [ Which is probably why he'll keep doing it. ]

You think so? I don't feel anything. You could be anyone here. besides, do you have anything to do with this?

[ And Yata reaches out with his free hand to tug down the collar of his shirt, showing off the HOMRA brand on his collarbone, one that flickers in time with the Aura still surrounding his hand. The fact that it itched everytime he did this was a pretty big clue that the two were linked. ]

[armigers]

[ Noctis blinks quizzically at the symbol, never having seen anything like it before in his own world. Is it supposed to link him to his god or something? He frowns, almost taking a step to look closer before realizing it might seem weird to be gawking at the guy's skin from a few centimeters away.

Yeeaaah, he's just going to back away now before anyone passing by catches them. ]

Don't know. Never seen it before. Probably has something to do with your powers.

[ It's a flame, and he makes flames rise from his hand. It seems a little obvious to him, but he doesn't know if the tattoos are a general trend. He'd check over his own body for one, but he'd rather not do that so publicly either. ]

You can always try asking if other people have the same thing?

I think so. [ Yata rubs at it again, almost absently. ] It... itches, when the fire shows up. Not much, but enough that I noticed it pretty quick.

[ Although the suggestion gets a quiet scoff of amusement as he looks at the other guy askance. ] Isn't that a little weird, though? Walking up to strangers and asking them if they've got any tattoos?

[armigers]

[ He has a point. Noctis wouldn't really go around asking people himself, but how else is he going to check? It's not like they have communal baths around here, and even if they did, Noctis would probably avoid the hell out of them. ]

Point taken. It's up to you. I'm not asking for you.

[ It's likely he's already gone around asking enough weird questions for the day, and nobody really has any answer that the messengers hadn't already given him. It'd be nice if someone at least pointed him in the vague direction of where he should go after this place, or else his feet are in for a lot of unpleasant wandering around. ]

-Do we just hang around and train until they send us off? They didn't say when this would finish.

[ Or is he just free to go? In spite of being a god, he's not actually sure how much autonomy he has, but he doesn't see anyone guarding the exit. Might as well at least try and look for his friends or wherever his actual shinki is. ]

I didn't ask you to!

[ the answer is huffed, because this entire thing sounds like too much of a hassle. Maybe it doesn't matter. Maybe he doesn't care about finding an answer that much. He could just stay here and punch things until he feels better instead. That sounds like a great plan, right? #Coping.

Although the other guy's question gets a baffled look from him. ]

What are you asking me for? I'm just a shinki. Aren't you a god? You're supposed to be the one telling everyone else what to do, right?

[armigers]

[ Is he? It's not like anyone gave him the specifics on how to be a god. In spite of being a prince in his own world, ordering people around has never sat well with him. Rather, he's more used to being nagged around by Ignis. He never thought he'd miss that either, but he tries to play it cool and nod- ]

Yeah, guess you're right. How about you get me a bottle of soda?

[ He did say to order people around, and this guy being a shinki -well, might as well see if he does it and try to test his newfound divinity. ]

[ Yata just scoffs and crosses his arms over his chest, giving the other guy a dry look and a cocky smirk. ]

Yeah, you're still not my god. You can get it yourself.

[armigers]

[ So much for thinking that'd work. ]

Hey, can't blame a guy for trying.

[ But that means he has all the more reason to find his shinki sooner than later. Now, if only he had more of a sign pointing to who he or she is, the prospect of interviewing everyone around them both daunting and unpleasant.

He sighs, resigning himself to it for now. ]

I'll catch you around later then. Hope you find your god.

[ He gives him a slight parting wave, already kind of feeling sorry for who does get stuck with him. ]
