Summary: Training sessions for everyone to learn more about their abilities and jobs!



Many people have been wanting to know more about their abilities and what they are required to do here in the Far Shore. So, in conjunction with Bishamonten, the Heavens have seen fit to offer an open training session for everyone to participate in. Here you will be able to learn anything and everything about what you should be able to do and what is expected of you in your new positions.

Bishamon's temple is sweeping and gorgeous, having previously been home to hundreds of shinki. She has graciously offered to hold this training session and will be available to help anyone who needs it.



Equipment

Various kinds of mannequins and dummies have been provided for practice, as well as targets that are either stationary or move, depending on your will. Punching bags, jumping blocks, and a large pool area have also been provided for your use, so that you can find a tool for pretty much anything that you might need to practice. Plenty of practice weapons of various weights, sizes, and shapes are also available upon request from any of the many white-clad shinki that are also attending today.

God Training

Bishamon herself will be the foremost source of information regarding being a god and what is expected of you. It is also encouraged that gods group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Shinki Training

Various shinki are available to help with shinki training, including Kazuma and all of Bishamon's shinki. Additionally, the white-clad shinki will be more than happy to train you on using the borderline and some of the basics of what is expected of a shinki. It is also encouraged that shinki group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Refreshments

There is a refreshments table provided. It is covered with light snacks and various kinds of hydrating drinks. There is a little sitting area set up for people to relax in after they have finished their training or if they're even just taking a quick break to cool down. The Heavens want you to stay in good condition!

This is really pretty. I hope we don't get it too dirty if all we do is practice a bit.

[She puts her hands on her hips dramatically.]

Maybe I can help with the basic borderline at least. Have you managed it once or should I start there?

Thank you! Isn't it? [She practically beams.] My god got it for me since I only had one outfit. But I'm not doing the combat part of the training today so it should be fine!

[Should she, though? She'll get transformed into something if she ever needs to fight. Borderline, however, that she must know.]

Not yet. I was doing it wrong for a while, but still couldn't even when I followed the instructions right.

[Borderlines were part of combat to Kairi, but that's because she used them extensively in the middle of combat.]

Alright, I'll show you one first and see if you can mimic it.

[She holds up her hand with the two fingers up and holding the other two down using her thumb.]

Borderline...

[Unlike several other times, Kairi draws this one very slowly between her and Kaya, and it remains standing. It's only a few feet wide though, so Kaya could walk around the end of it if she so chose.]

[Kaya gasps in awe as she examines the wall-like border.]

That's amazing!

Your turn, Kaya. Come on and try it out.

[She gestures for Kaya to mimic her by holding up her hand against her chest in the same position she'd just used.]

[She imitates it, and it's a pretty decent attempt. She tries to cast, and still nothing happened but it's going into the right steps now at least.]

Don't worry, you'll get it in time. That was a good try though! And now you know the basics.

[She smiles at her friend.]

Do you want to keep trying while I watch, or leave you to practice on your own?

Hmmmm. I don't want to stop your own training for long! So how about a couple more tries, see if I'm really doing the pose well, and then you can continue with your own stuff?

[She shakes her head fondly.]

But this is part of my own training! It's fine though, just a few more tries and I'll switch around to help someone else instead.

Okay, thanks! [Her smile is bright. She gets her hand into position again.] Did it take you long to do your first Borderline, by the by? Was it during training or when... you know, something bad happened?

Well... both, really? I had to learn just as some bad people were spotted at the Black Parade and I didn't have my god with me so a good friend showed me how to defend myself in case I got caught before I found him.
