Drink! This one's on me
Who: Izumo and you!
What: With all that’s happened, people are invited to his bar for a drink and to unwind
When: June 18
Where: Double Cross
Warnings: None at the moment
Morning or somewhere during the day
[It’s not quite opening hours yet, but Izumo still opened the bar anyway for any day patrons who might be interested in coming by.
Of course, the day is usually reserved for people underage who might be interested in checking the place out. It’s certainly not like any bar most people would be familiar with; it’s rather laid-back and calm with soft music playing in the air. It’s too low to be heard coherently, but it sounds soothing all the same.
Izumo himself could be found behind the bar counter, diligently cleaning a glass and inspecting it before he puts it away. Though, when he notices someone come in, he’ll flash a smile.]
Welcome.
Night
[Nights at the bar are usually busier.
People seem to find a perfect excuse to come in and find ways to get drunk off their asses.
Izumo doesn’t mind the rowdiness, though anyone underaged (read: clearly a child) would find themselves escorted to a calmer part of the bar and away from the drunkards.
It seems a bit more lively compared to the daytime hours; drinks are being served and food is being made to help the poor drunk souls that got themselves wasted.
Anyone who comes in may either get dragged into some sort of shenanigan by a drunkard or may find refuge at the bar. As per usual, that would be where Izumo is found, and he’s always willing to lend an ear or make a drink for his customers.]

Somewhere between the two!
Shit, what time is it??
[ Said to himself, but still plenty loud enough for others to hear, as he frantically fishes his phone out of his pocket. ]

If he had hoped he would've been able to sneak in, he had another thing coming. Even if Izumo's just doing this out of fun since he's sure he hadn't informed any of his employees about the early opening. Daylight hours were usually slow, anyway, so he didn't want to make a fuss.
But:]
Bandou. [He raises his voice loud enough to call out to the younger man, the smile still remaining on his face.]
no subject
When did we start opening earlier?!
no subject
He just keeps up the smile (though it makes him wonder why Bandou seems to fear it) and simply waves him to come over.]
Just get over here already.

Ah, sorry. I didn't mean to be late.

So he walks right up to the bar, in one of the few free seats, spinning around to look right at Izumo, and lean forward.
Let him be bad, dammit.]
Well well. Busy place you've got here.
omg
Izumo chuckles.]
Nights are usually busy.
[A glance to the side when he hears some patrons getting a bit rowdy before he shakes his head to look at Niles again.]
Can I get you anything to drink?
no subject
Bourbon. You have that, yes?
[Might as well get some of his own.]
no subject
[Give him just a minute or two before he slides a glass of bourbon in front of Niles.]
And here you go.
no subject
[He takes a sip of it while he looks at him.]
So. A bar?

"Morning" so like... Noon XD
Hey man, thought I'd stop in after losing your god and all. Rough stuff.
[He pulls up a chair and allows himself to look more chipper as he takes the place in.]
You were hiding all this style pretty well, gotta say.
[And yet for all that, of course he's hyper vigilant about the minds around him, looking for any possible ambushes and other nefarious behavior. He'd know all about that, after all.]
no subject
I handled it.
[What with getting a new god and all.]
Thank you. Though, it's certainly not everyone's favorite style.
[Izumo's still not sure what to think of him, but then there's that brief memory of Bishamon.]
Would you like anything?
no subject
[Not that he was raised among his people, because he was but in a strict lab-school combo environment until teenage years, but after that he got to ~see the world~ and pretend to be a perfectly socialized little German to the best of his ability, which included copious nights drinking.
Ah but there's a lovely face enough to put him on edge. What's Bishamon doing in the man's thoughts? Some probing may be required to see if he's been made or not.]
Surely such an ostentatious style suits plenty of people, especially those fussy higher ups that run the conclaves.
no subject
[It won't take him too long before he does get it, attention briefly diverted when he hears a short ruckus.
Upon seeing a patron already getting drunk, he shakes his head and returns to Skylar, sliding his beer in front.
Though, the mention of the 'higher-ups' has Izumo raising an eyebrow.]
While it may be, I doubt I'll get any of them to come in here any time soon. [It's a bit of a tease, really.]
no subject
I'm sure it will be.
[It's not particularly dark, but it's a typical middle flavor. Solid just not his favorite. The kind of thing that 75% of other patrons will love and Schuldig and his ilk will pass up in favor of drinks that cost an extra 50% more for stocking fee alone.]
Oh I dunno about that. Don't be so modest. New businesses? That practically screams 'host an event here'!
[He makes a wide gesture with both hands for effect too.]
If they can have a picnic amongst cherry trees, they can have a trivia night at a bar or some other game event.

Night
It's after squeezing her way through and politely excusing herself as she passes or declines seats being offered to her that she manages to make it to the bar. With finger tips tracing idly over the smooth wood finish she lifts her bright gaze to the bar tender.]
Hello~! Do you have anything more on the sweet side?
no subject
Of course. Do you have any preferences?
[Someone he definitely hasn't met before, but Izumo always did enjoy meeting new people.
Besides, she looks pleasant enough.]
no subject
Nothing really comes to mind....just something sweet. Maybe fruity?
[She claps her hands together.]
Show me your magic drink making skills!
no subject
As m'lady wishes.
[And watch him make her drink.
There's a reason why he's the bartender, after all.
When he's done, Izumo slides her drink over.]
Here you go.
no subject
It's good! It's good! Mr.Bartender, you really know your stuff. Have you been doing this a long time?

day
At the greeting, Davesprite raises a taloned hand rather casually, folding his wings in tightly so he doesn't unsettle any furniture and worming in on his ghostlike tail.]
Hey. Kind of late on the uptake but I figured if I was going to randomly agree to transition from diner work to bar work I should probably figure out what the fuck I was working with.
no subject
That'd be a good idea.
[Especially since working in a bar is a bit different than diner work.]
Since you're already familiar with serving people, do you want to familiarize yourself with the liquor first?
no subject
Looking the drinks behind the bar up and down with a lengthy stare, Davesprite nods a bit slowly like he's still weighing the whole thing up.]
Yeah, nothing's ringing much of a bell here so I'm gonna have to assume I've never had anything more than a passive flirtation with the alcoholic.
no subject
[He waves Davesprite to come behind the bar.]
All I ask while we do this, you try not to break anything.
[Because it costs money and some of these are a gift from his previous god.]
no subject
Yeah, don't worry, work around a body like this long enough and not breaking shit becomes pretty much routine.
[At this point, he's looking over the bottles, checking for kinds of alcohol he recognises by name if nothing else.]
