[Today was the day that Roxas was finally not too busy on to teach Chikusa all about how to make a basic curry (unless the shinki wants to be more creative). There’s no meat to be seen, but if the other is insistent, then Roxas provide some. He might not eat it, yet everyone else in the temple does.

Now there was just the wait for Chikusa to show up. Just in case Roxas has his two hounds standing guard at the entrance into the forest to guide the shinki in. It’s faster that way maybe?]

[Nanako]

[Later that evening after cooking adventures are over, Roxas is outside and setting up a tent not too far into the forest of his. It was easy to get to and from and still within view of his place. Wasn’t the most ideal way to camp, but he’s more concerned for Nanako being comfortable and to keep any potential fear down. Since she’s been here before, he trusts her to find him as he moves over to the patio. As promised, there’s a setup for s’mores and some of the leftover curry from cooking with Chikusa. And yes, there’s a third sleeping bag in the tent in case Sora gets lonely.

If anything, just like with Chikusa, Asteri and Komitis will lead Nanako to where their owner is.]

[Sora]

[Time was set aside once more for a hopefully calm date with Sora. And since Sora loves music, going to the Near Shore to see some of the live performances seems like the best way to spend a day. It’s still nice and early enough in the day without being too damn early so that they can watch some of the musicians set up. The only complaint was the cooler than normal weather.

The blond doesn’t know all too much about instruments other than the ones he’s seen over the past almost three years of his life. So excuse him for staring at a French horn rather intently.]

What is that thing?

[Out and about the Near Shore, June 19th, consider this a Wildcard option]

[Since there was nothing in particular for him to do today, there’s going to be wandering around wherever his feet take him. Bookstores, ice cream parlors, a random place he might like? There’s no limits. Early morning to after the sun goes down, there’s just so much to do in Tokyo. Roxas will never get tired of this city. Anyone who approaches him will find him in a good mood and more than willing to hang out.]

[Why is it so cold? It's halfway through June and the weather is a lot cooler than usual for this time of year. Sora is actually wearing one of Roxas' sweaters that he snagged that morning because obviously the boyfriend's sweaters are automatically 500% warmer than other sweaters.

Aside from that Sora is in a great mood. He gets to spend the day with Roxas checking out all of the live performances that have rolled into town. As soon as the suggestion came up Sora was already ready to drag Roxas out the door right then and there.

He grins and points with his elbow because his hands are shoved into the front pocket of the hoodie.]

It's a french horn! I think, it looks like what Ariel's friends had anyway.

[This one is brass though instead of made of coral.]

[Would Roxas ever get that hoodie back? Doubtful. Once Sora claims something, it was a 50/50 chance that Roxas would ever be able to call the item his own again. With Sora it was okay. At least he knows where Sora sleeps, so if there's ever a need for revenge, it could happen.

And this better be a good day. He hasn't even told his shinki that he was leaving for the day in case they decided to tag along. Or anyone else for that matter.]

... what makes it French?

[Can you blame him? Sora has taken a liking to snatching up Roxas' hoodies. They're all so comfortable. Even better if they smell like Roxas, he nuzzles right into them.

Sora tilts his head, not really knowing how to answer that question. He doesn't know a lot about horns and even less why they're named like that.]

Maybe because it looks really fancy?

[French stuff is usually super fancy, isn't it?]

[It's called being head over heels for Roxas still.

Sora laughs.]

You know that guy, Hibiki? He'd say it was made in Prance.

[Yes. Guy. Hibiki didn't correct Sora.]

[He's not expecting a pair of hounds to be his guides, but Chikusa at least goes along with it after the initial pause. While he can't say this is his first time on his own going to another God's temple- Loki has apparently stolen that little honor- it's still strange enough for Chikusa to glance around and take everything to mind as he's guided to Roxas.]

[When the hounds finally bring him to where he needs to be, he raises a hand in at least an attempt of a greeting.]

[It's not just for guiding. There's a sometimes cranky bear somewhere in the forest. So this is for safety, too.

Roxas looks over with a smile.]

Hey! You made it!

[Ready to go?]

Yeah... Do your dogs talk?

[Excuse that out of left field question, Roxas.]

.... no? At least I don't think so. They're ghosts.

[They've never talked to him.]

[ Nanako shows up before it's dark, cheerfully escorted by his two hounds, both of which she's been petting and fawning over since they'd met her at the edge of the forest.

When she spots Roxas, she bounces forward, her hand lifted in an excited wave. ]

Hi! I'm here! I'm not late, am I?

[missingache]

[No one will ever be able to say that they have seen a happier pair of ghost puppers.

Roxas waves back with a smile, shaking his head.]

Nope! I just finished getting everything together.

[ She dashes up to him with a bright smile. ]

Oh good, I'm right on time then!

[ She holds out a canvas bag to him in offering and greeting. ]

I brought some more snacks and juice, too! Just in case we needed more food.

The fire's ready, and I've got some curry for dinner. It's sweet. Is that okay?

[He still doesn't get that 'bringing things to other people's homes' thing. He takes it with a smile and nod.]

Thanks! Juice sounds better than tea right now. It's too warm for tea.

Oooh! [ She looks excited at that. ] Did you make it? I like curry! But not when it's too spicy. spicy food makes my tongue burn, I don't like that.

It will get a little colder later, right? Once the sun goes down? We can have the tea, then!

Out and about- I'm sorry

[Senri wanders into the city from time to time just out of curiosity. Today, he'd been heading toward the park when a tiny noise caught his attention.

Near the entrance to an alley there was a box. A box containing a litter of kittens. Aw, how cute. That's why he stopped to pet them for a moment. But then he stood up and started to walk away. Only to feel one of the kittens rubbing up against his leg. Uh oh, the street is dangerous. Better put it back in the box.

So he did. And then gave it a little headpat. And then tried to leave again. See where this is going?

Yeah, while he was doing that, one of the others escaped. And started following him. So he had to stop and bring that one back. Except now a third has escaped.....

By the time Roxas happens upon him, the real question is 'how long has Senri been doing this?' Because it could be anywhere from twenty minutes to three hours.]

KITTENS

[Roxas rarely sees Senri out in the Near Shore, so when he does, he stops and stares. This... this was kind of cute. He doesn't know how long he's watched his shinki before he heads over. Scooping up one of the kittens, he scratches it under its chin and is rewarded with a soft purr.]

[Senri always perks up when Roxas is nearby. That's a tough question though. This requires careful consideration wherein he looks at the kittens, pats one on the head, then looks back the busy road with all the noisy crushing cars zipping by. Then he shakes his head.

The kittens keep climbing out of their nice safe box. He doesn't know how to keep them away from the street. He's too worried for it to be fun. Help?]

[Huh. So Senri was having problems with the kittens running off. Hmm... Roxas does like cats, and these ones look homeless...

He walks over and kneels down, unzipping his hoodie a bit. A moment later he puts a kitten into the hoodie and holds the small, warm body close. There's a confused mewl which is replaced with a soft purr a few moments later. Warm kitty, happy kitty.]

Let's take them home. I can carry them like this.

[Oh! That is a good idea. There's no scary road at the temple, and none of these big rumbly car things. Much safer. Senri reaches into the box and picks up one kitty in each hand.

One simply clings to his sleeve. The other is more energetic, and tries to climb up to his shoulder. Trying to stop it with only one hand is.. challenging.]

June 19th

[Nothing big, she hopes that's the main thing he gets from her message. She doesn't see it as having concealed anything from him, because she hasn't actually gone on a date with lance ever. They've met a handful of times and that's it. Talked about being interested, sure, but she did put her foot down on dating without Roxas knowing. She also decided she should probably be the one to talk to him first about it though, since he and Lance didn't even know each other it turned out.

It's after Roxas returns for the afternoon/evening timeframe that Kairi finally manages to catch Roxas alone.]

Hey! [And a light wave.] Have a fun day today?

Sure. I won't be out too much longer.

[It's definitely evening by the time he shows up, a few bags in his hands clearly from a pet store. So Roxas would wave if it wasn't for that.]

Yeah! [Kittens are always fun. He puts the bags down in the kitchen before looking at her.] So what's up?

[She wants to ask about the bags... but maybe it's for a prayer she's not a part of, so she decides to focus on that a bit later.]

It certainly looks like it... Anyway, I wanted to know if you'd met a guy named Lance? Or heard about him?

[Lance told her they weren't acquainted, but for all she knew Roxas had a friend of a friend or something. It wasn't rude to start there, in her opinion.]

[Not a prayer. Just a kitten collection mission. Where are those little furballs... probably sleeping on his bed...]

Lance? [He shakes his head.] Never heard of the guy.

[Well, neutral is good. She can handle that.]

He's a god here. His other name is... Shoot, it's hard for me to say, but it's Tih-lah-lock I think? Anyway, we've met a couple of times at some of those parties they throw for us, and I think he's really nice - and funny, in the good way.

[She's got her hands at her side but then she holds them behind her back in an attempt to not fidget with them.]

I was just hoping we could find a good time for you to meet him here at the temple sometime.
