[The prospect of a prayer with both Hajime and the not-so-new temple roommate Davesprite still hasn't had much luck getting on with is something he's been expecting for a while, but nonetheless, Davesprite still feels like he could've been more prepared when it actually comes. Despite the deceptive casualness of his floating beside the aviary, taloned hands behind his head, beneath his shades his eyes are in rapid movement. The whole problem here is supposed to be some kind of predator luring these things away, and Davesprite'll be damned if he's going to let Hajime get jumped by another one of those on his watch.

At Hajime's declaration, Davesprite glances towards her and twitches his wings slightly to roll himself over, hands dropping from their position.]

I'm just putting on record that this is exactly how the first act of your average B-grade horror movie goes down. Everyone turning up at some cool and improbable themed hideout just as night falls, predators looming in the shadows, unbridled optimism for like five seconds until the actual horror bit starts.
