( When Urashima wakes up, it's slow. For as long as he can remember (which, admittedly, isn't very long), he's always been an early riser but that doesn't mean he particularly likes crawling out of his bed. But this isn't his bed, is it? In fact, it isn't even a bed and as soon as he realizes he's sleeping on a floor he snaps awake. Sitting upright and begins to search for his things which isn't much. Kamekichi and his sword which are both beside him, Kamekichi, as usual, appears indifferent and asleep. But now, he can focus on where he is.
This isn't his room and he starts to call out, )
Terra...?
( But this isn't Shiva's temple and even though this is the first time he's actually woken up in a whole other temple, he's been here long enough to suspect what's happened. He touches his chest where his name should be and looks down-- nothing. And if he were try to draw a boundary line right now, nothing would happen, right? He holds up his hand as if contemplating if he should try or not but decides against it.
He feels his heart drop and it's that same feeling he had after Pippa disappeared. His stomach feels empty but it's different from when he's hungry. He's sadder now than he would be if he was just hungry.
Taking a moment to collect himself, he gets up, putting Kamekichi on his shoulder, and starts to explore. If he woke up here then that means he isn't alone-- or at least, that he won't be alone for much longer. So he should either wait for or look for whoever lives here. )
For Chikusa
( It's an average day in the Near Shore. The streets are busy with people commuting to and from work or school and kids are playing in the street. People are passing out flyers for upcoming festivals and celebrations that they hope you'll visit and honestly, it's just a nice day in the summer.
But when Urashima spots a familiar face across the street, he's quick to yell out, )
Chikusa--!
( He jumps up and down, trying to see over the people in the crowd in front of him. The lit counter on the street light shows that it's going to turn green any second now so you better believe Urashima is going to be darting across the street any moment.
It's been awhile since he'd last seen Chikusa and considering how the last time they'd seen each other wasn't exactly the best of circustamces, it makes sense... but that isn't going to stop Urashima who really wants his attention right now, )
CHI - KU - SA - KUN!
For Roxas
( After Terra's disappearance and being renamed, Urashima had wandered back around to where Shiva's temple had been. It's just one last chance, like he's holding out onto some hope that there was some sort of mistake... finding nothing, he lingers for a moment before turning back to the next most familiar place-- his second home.
It's comforting to be in a familiar setting again and he sets Kamekichi down by the lily lake, letting her sunbathe in the shallows. When he sees Roxas, he's quick to smile-- as if nothing is wrong-- and wave. )
Roxas! Over here~!
For Add
( After submitting his request to Apocalypse, Urashima had wondered if Add would accept it. They hadn't really spoken for obvious reasons, even after Urashima's odd visits to his tower to visit Jakob. Maybe he could have said all of this through the network but he's an old fashioned spirit and can't deal with filters on his own so they're going to have to meet the old fashioned way: Some place.
Urashima gets to the arranged place early and waits around with Kamekichi. He's probably feeding her a cherry or something by the time Add comes around. )
no subject
[That means back to learning the layout of the city again, along with keeping an eye out for more ayakashi to 'harvest' for his studies. He's keeping an eye out for that familiar feeling of revulsion...]
[So the sudden call of his name catches him off-guard.]
[There's a pause as he blinks slowly, glancing around.... and feels his shoulders hunch up as he finally catches sight of the caller.]
[To put it plainly: oh hell no]
[Chikusa immediately starts to shuffle faster through the crowds, slouch worsening. Alright, time to find a store or restaurant to hide in. Urashima is the last person he wants to see right now.]
no subject
( Why is he running? That isn't really the reaction Urashima expected at all and he bobs about in the crowd, pushing through people and getting as close to the street as he can without crossing it. The cars have already stopped and a couple of people are starting to cross on their own but the light isn't actually green yet so he isn't going to cross just-- now! )
Wait a second! Chikusa-kun! ( He's dashing past the crowd, coming to the other side with a skip and following after Chikusa in the crowd, right into the shop. ) Chikusa...!
Why'd you run away?!
no subject
[Warily, his shoulders hunch up to his ears, and he only partially turns around to face Urashima. Why is he here… If he wanted to get back at him, surely getting the drop on him would have been better than yelling out his name at the top of his lungs, right? Or was he one of those weird honorable people?]
Isn’t it obvious…?
no subject
Obvious? ( Is it? He thinks for a second and, ) ... Are you still mad at me?
no subject
[???]
You're the one who started that... I thought you were going to start being in the way like that again...
no subject
I did want to know if you were still trying to catch ayakashi...
no subject
[With how their last encounter went down.... Chikusa thinks it would be easier if they just never met again. His target escaped, he got injured, the whole thing was just tiring.... and it was clear that Urashima would never tell him anything about what happened to Axel.]
[At best, it's a waste of time. And he can't do that too much with all that's on his plate.]
no subject
... I was really worried about you though. I still am, you know! I don't want you to get hurt.

Either way, Oona doesn't know this sword-boy is even around until she turns a corner, stifling a yawn as she rounds a corner. He's very lucky she'd been thinking about going out, because otherwise she would've been quite naked (it was HER place after all, so no one was allowed to demand she wear clothes!!). As it is, the short-shorts and the croptop at least cover her, her bare feet making little noise against the hard flooring.]
Eh? [Which is fine, because Oona makes up for the lack of noise walking with her big mouth.] Who? Who! Who visits and says nothing? Rude!
no subject
( He's normally a pretty observant kid but with so much to take in at once, it takes him a moment to hear Oona approaching. By the time he does, she'a already making herself known to him and he steps back, holding up his hands to show he isn't armed or anything, )
Sorry, sorry! ( He's apologizing! ) We didn't mean to... We woke up here.
( Kamekichi and him. )
no subject
[She rests her hands on her hips, irritated look in place as she tries to make herself intimidating. It might be a little hard to do at like 5'2''ish but damn if she's not trying.
Wait. Her irritation and hostile posturing fall to confusion and she frowns] Just woke up? Why?
no subject
( Pointing to his shoulder at the sleeping(?) turtle. And Oona might only be 5'2" but guess who here is 5'1". This guy. She doesn't need that extra inch to scare him straight, though. )
That's right. We just woke up here. ( A hand on Kamekichi's shell, he gives it a rub. ) I think....we're here because Terra's gone.
no subject
Oh]
Turtle! [She perks up and hurries over to get a better look. Turtle! It's a turtle!! It's so cute what the fuck. She's all wide eyes and cheer now, fingers twitching with the desire to snatch the turtle away and snuggle with it.
However, her desire doesn't stop her from hearing what he says.] Terra? [She raises an eyebrow, looking vaguely exasperated] Nothing you say makes sense. Person is gone, so you are here? Just like that? Why?
[Oona squints slightly] ...Are shinki thing?
no subject
Mhmm. ( He nods. ) Terra was my god. ( A hand moves for his chest, just above his heart and he pushes back the fabric of his jinbei to show where his name had been. ) I had a name before but it's gone now so... I think that means he's gone too.
no subject
...It is difficult, to lose people you care for, to be separated from them. Have to put one foot in front of other and keep moving forward, not allowing to be held back. It is difficult. [She knows because she still hasn't allowed herself to let go either. So she's a hypocrite, but it's still good advice.]
So, he is gone, but you are here? Assigned to me now?
no subject
He was my second god... after Miss Pippa went away, I waited for a long time and wouldn't let anyone name me... ( But Terra had been patient and worked with him. His approach was gentler than Oona's "you have to keep moving" approach which seems more direct but the meaning is the same, ) But that wasn't very good... waiting all of the time.
( He looks down at the ground, thinking for a second before he answers her question. He could do the same thing now. Refuse to let himself be named and wait again. Let himself be vulnerable and depend on the kindness of others again. )
I think so.
( He nods. Maybe this is the heaven's way of pushing him along. )
My name's Urashima. ( And he nods his head towards the turtle on his shoulder, ) And you already know Himechan.
no subject
Mm. Urashima? [She says his name slowly, testing it out a few times to make sure she has pronunciation right and all. She sort of likes how it sounds, so after a moment she gives a nod of approval.] Okay. Hello, Urashima. Ah, and hello Himechan too. [She perks up a little TURTLE... It's so good.]
Am Oona. Here, am also goddess Eris. Need to give you other name, yes? Eh, that is... Well, is your choice, in end. Will not take away choice. Refuse. [She shrugs because honestly, she doesn't care either way.] Do not know how to do other names anyhow... Pick one if you want one.
[AKA do the work for her she is Lazy]

Then again, it's not like Add hasn't noticed Urashima sneaking into his temple every now and then. Perhaps it's something to do with Jakob. Hopefully it won't be anything too annoying.
Whatever the case, Add has no reason to be worried about one little shinki, so he decides to show up. He arrives abruptly through a bright purple crack in spacetime that seals itself up behind him. If this is a trap, that should be enough to show this shinki that Add isn't someone to be taken lightly.
He scowls at the turtle before settling on a slightly more neutral expression.] What do you want?
no subject
I wanted to talk to you about Axel. ( Of course. And he tries to sound as serious as he possibly can, ) I think you should talk to his shinki.
no subject
But it's Add's turn to be surprised when Urashima explains why he called him here. Hasn't he said all there is to say about Axel already? ... but to Axel's shinki, well. Maybe not.]
... I don't see how that's any of your business. I don't even know who his shinki is, that has nothing to do with me.
[As far as he's concerned, it's better for him not to get too involved with Axel. He's a god now, so what? They might as well be strangers now. There's no reason for him to drag out the pass unnecessarily.]
no subject
His name is Chikusa and he wants answers. He wants to understand what happened. ( He frowns a bit thinking about it, to be honest, but now isn't the time to think about himself, ) You don't have to tell him but if he's going to find out about you then it should be from you.
( He holds out his arm, showing the skin. It's smooth and fine and really, it's kind of a mystery why he's showing it at all without explanation, )
I made him mad once and he poisoned me. And I think if he thought you were a threat, he might come looking for you.
no subject
The random arm-showing also throws him off for a second... but, to Urashima's credit, his second argument is much more convincing than the first. This guy could be dangerous, huh? But even if that's the case—]
Telling him myself wouldn't guarantee anything. If anything, the correct action would be to avoid him and prepare for a possible incident if he does find out and hold it against me.
Although, it would be annoying to deal with if it happens... [He pauses, bringing a hand up to his mouth thoughtfully. How short is this Chikusa's temper...? Is it possible he'd target Jakob to get to Add?]
Hmm. What did you do to make him mad? [probably not something as bad as orchestrating his god's death.]
no subject
He was looking for ayakashi.... to study blight. I tried to stop him and then we started talking about Axel... Then we fought.
no subject
He coughs instead, pushing that thought aside.] That doesn't really tell me anything useful. How did you try to stop him? Were you the first to make the dispute physical, or did he start it? What specifically did you say about Axel that lead into this fight? How did he poison you?
