[Forrest has never had a sleepover before, so he's pretty excited to host one at his temple. He sends out invitations ahead of time to everyone he can think of, letting them know to bring pajamas, snacks, and even a friend or two if they want. He's clad in a frilly pink nightgown with ribbons and bows for the occasion, and he's temporarily converted Lakshmi's audience chamber into a space where the guests can all party and sleep. It was already mostly full of pillows to begin with, so all he had to do was move some more in and set up some tables for snacks and things. One of the tables conspicuously contains all of his beauty supplies, because like hell is Forrest hosting a slumber party without makeovers. Anyone who shows even the slightest bit of interest will get their makeup, hair, or nails done. Soft music and the scent of lotus blossoms drift through the air, creating the perfect atmosphere for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves.]

((OOC: If you've got a teenager that Forrest has talked to more than once, assume he invited them. Friends of friends are totally welcome as well. Everyone can feel free to put up their own toplevels, and everybody tag everybody and mingle to your heart's content!))

[ Time to try something. She takes a deep breath. ]

[ This works back home. It summons her servant. Who takes care of all Hibiki's problems.

Do shinki work the same way? ]

[She just watches quietly. Hibiki is... hm, a bit spoiled. Especially if she thinks yelling for somebody will make them suddenly appear.

Does anybody show up?]

You can't just leave on your own?

It's the principle of the thing.

[ Obviously.

Hibiki's eyes do another sweep of the room, brows drawn together in an aesthetically-troubled expression. Her first resort thwarted, she must resort to cleverness when dealing with this unpleasant predicament. What are the extant obstacles....? Paths to exits?

Is calling Venus by "Pureki" instead more or less efficient than handling this alone? ]

Do the principles of a sleepover matter that much to you?

[Homura chose to be here, in her purple pajamas and is drinking tea. She'll watch Hibiki figure out what to do, and continue being entirely unhelpful.]

But Hibiki isn't so easily swayed. ] All principles are essential.

[ This doesn't look like a situation that calls for her to summon her shinki's vessel form thus far, however. Those she's least interested in mingling with are conveniently absent from the room for this scene don't seem to be about, and the actual fundamentals of the room itself are, well.

If it weren't full of sleepover paraphernalia, Hibiki could see herself quite at ease in such surroundings. ] Whose room is this, anyway?

[She looks at Hibiki blandly. Homura disagrees about principle but isn't about to start an argument over something like that.

The ends justify the means. Always.]

This is Lakshmi's temple. The goddess of wealth and beauty.

Wealth and beauty....

[ Hibiki considers this. Some of the fight goes out of her. She can consider her situation coolly, now. There's no need to panic.

This can be salvaged. And then she'll go. ] A strange place for such childishness.

Is spending time with the others who reside in heaven so childish?

[Hm.

... Somehow spending time with people goes poorly more often than not. Something she doesn't have a why for. But her past month with Souji and Nanako say that's not necessarily true all the time.]

[ Time in and of itself? Not necessarily. But Hibiki will pick the time. She will pick the place. She will pick the company.

And she will definitely pick how they occupy said time. Things worth her valuable time (and, frankly, presence) appear to be in short supply here.

So, rather than reply to Homura's question directly, she keeps examining the room. ] I need to greet our host.

[ Shouldn't she naturally be drawn to a goddess of wealth and beauty? And vice versa? ]

She gestures to Forrest wherever he might be.]

[ That person -

Ah, of course. Hibiki nods to Homura. ] Excuse me.

[ Despite the smooth words, she's heading off rather brusquely. She's not hurrying, mind you - Shikyoin Hibiki does not, as a general rule, hurry. But when she makes up her mind something's going to happen, it does.

That is simply the way of the world! ]
