When: The night of June 21
Where: Lakshmi's temple
Warnings: Cuteness overload
[Forrest has never had a sleepover before, so he's pretty excited to host one at his temple. He sends out invitations ahead of time to everyone he can think of, letting them know to bring pajamas, snacks, and even a friend or two if they want. He's clad in a frilly pink nightgown with ribbons and bows for the occasion, and he's temporarily converted Lakshmi's audience chamber into a space where the guests can all party and sleep. It was already mostly full of pillows to begin with, so all he had to do was move some more in and set up some tables for snacks and things. One of the tables conspicuously contains all of his beauty supplies, because like hell is Forrest hosting a slumber party without makeovers. Anyone who shows even the slightest bit of interest will get their makeup, hair, or nails done. Soft music and the scent of lotus blossoms drift through the air, creating the perfect atmosphere for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves.]
((OOC: If you've got a teenager that Forrest has talked to more than once, assume he invited them. Friends of friends are totally welcome as well. Everyone can feel free to put up their own toplevels, and everybody tag everybody and mingle to your heart's content!))

Man, didn't know you had a death wish, but who am I to turn it down. [Because one way or another, Sora's going down.
The magnet spell works well enough - Davesprite immediately feels the pull of it. However, he was already on the ground from Sora falling on top of him, meaning his focus is more on resisting the force pulling him from being able to stand straight than pulling him out of the air. As Sora comes in for that blow, Davesprite holds up a pillow to catch it with. It takes some effort with the spell in effect, but he manages it (barely).]

Give it all you got, Davesprite, I'm not scared of you and your funny sunglasses!
[He yelps when Davesprite catches his swing. The two pillows clash and there's a loud THWAP. Sora then ducks and uses a keyblade ability called Guard Break which will have Sora using his pillow like a sword and going in for an uppercut to try and disarm the other.]

[Of course, Davesprite only sounds faux offended, as is his usual state of affairs. Though he tries to throw Sora's pillow off to the side with the block, he doesn't quite manage it, and though he can tell Sora is making a follow-up, all his weird powers mean he can't really pick what exactly he's going to do.
The fact that he's going for the pillow Davesprite has in hand is obvious, though, so he brings another one upwards with his telekinesis even as Sora goes in for that disarm attempt.
He may or may not also be trying to sweep his tail around to snag at any pillows under Sora's feet.]

[It all happens pretty fast. Or in slow motion for better dramatic effect.
Sora bring his pillow in for that uppercut but another pillow comes up to meet him due to that pesky telekinesis. Just at the same time that tail comes up snag at pillows near Sora's feet.
He trips-- over that tail and as he's parried-- and falls back onto his butt with a thump.]
Davesprite!! I'm pretty sure your floaty powers are cheating or something!
[Sora slumps back, star-fished.]

Hey, you were throwing around spells or some shit. Without the floaty powers I would've gone down like the fucking Hindenburg two seconds into this match. And it's not like I had anything else I could start swinging around that's actually acceptable to bring to a pillow fight.
[He taps the handle of the sword sticking through his stomach with one talon. Sure, he can use it and use it well, but bringing a sword to a pillow fight could probably become the reverse of the "bringing a knife to a gun fight" metaphor.]

Yeah, well, that's all I had against you without burning this whole place down! Or really hurting you!
[Sora laughs a little and then sits up, looking at Davesprite curiously. He really wishes he could ask the other about that kinda stuff-- swords through stomachs-- but shinki things. He's come to accept the bizzare thing that Davesprite is.]
You should fight for real sometime. Outside of a temple! For fun.

When Sora gives him the curious look, Davesprite gives him a look right back, this one more neutral. Sora's cool and all, but there's not really anyone here Davesprite knows well - intentionally, on his part - and so there's only so much he can think about him.]
I mean, I tried fucking some people up during that whole training thing the other day. I should probably find an actual fucking sparring partner or this sword is going to get rustier than the Titanic, but walking up to people and asking them to take out their sword can be misinterpreted in at least five ways, most of them not safe for innocent eyes and ears.

I'm actually gonna be teaching Yuto how to fight with a sword, so maybe we can all work together?

If you don't know what I mean by that then you probably don't want to know what I mean by that. Unless you're suddenly really fucking curious about my metaphor choices.
[And...well, that was sudden and also kind of unexpected, but then Davesprite has a sword through his middle so he really can't talk. Still, he gives the weirdly-designed blade a long look.]
I dunno if having both of us in the same room for that would go down well. Not least because I'd probably take the chance of being way better than him at something to completely fucking whale on him. [None of the shame.]

[He's actually pretty excited. The pillow fight showed off that Davesprite has some unique abilities that Sora's never seen or dealt with before in a combat sense. That alone has Sora hyped.
As weird as Davesprite is, he'll be thankful for a real sparring partner. Sora's been out of practice for far too long.]
