[Forrest has never had a sleepover before, so he's pretty excited to host one at his temple. He sends out invitations ahead of time to everyone he can think of, letting them know to bring pajamas, snacks, and even a friend or two if they want. He's clad in a frilly pink nightgown with ribbons and bows for the occasion, and he's temporarily converted Lakshmi's audience chamber into a space where the guests can all party and sleep. It was already mostly full of pillows to begin with, so all he had to do was move some more in and set up some tables for snacks and things. One of the tables conspicuously contains all of his beauty supplies, because like hell is Forrest hosting a slumber party without makeovers. Anyone who shows even the slightest bit of interest will get their makeup, hair, or nails done. Soft music and the scent of lotus blossoms drift through the air, creating the perfect atmosphere for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves.]

((OOC: If you've got a teenager that Forrest has talked to more than once, assume he invited them. Friends of friends are totally welcome as well. Everyone can feel free to put up their own toplevels, and everybody tag everybody and mingle to your heart's content!))

[He finishes drawing the flower, then angles the book toward her so she can get a better look.]

Memory...

[He says as if it explains everything.]

[It actually make perfect sense, and Wendy presses her hands together.]

Oh! That's actually really smart. Are you a shinki too?

[He nods. But actually he's a little surprised too. No one has ever called him smart before.

The book is just something he knows he needs.]

I thought so. When we're like this, I guess every memory we do have is important.

Maybe I should try it... [If everything goes well tonight, she'll even likely have enough money to get a journal to write things in.]

[nodnod. He definitely agrees with that. Memories are the most precious things to have.

He flips through a few pages to show her a few more of his precious trinkets. A lotus petal.]

Forrest...

[And then a small starfish charm.]

Kairi...

[There are many others too. Flowers, scraps of cloth, slips of paper. He has one here for everyone he knows.]

[She indulges him, smiling slightly with each reveal.]

You've been at this for a while then, huh?

[He nods again. As far as Senri knows he's been at this for as long as he's existed. He turns back to the page he drew the flower on and points at that.]

You...

[See? With this in the book, Senri will remember this. And any other encounter they have.]

Great! Maybe when I start making this kind of thing, too, I'll come back to see you to find out what would be bet to represent you.

[It can be fun, too, right? Wendy is already looking forward to it.]

[Oh! He knows this one. Senri points to himself.]

Bear.

[That's what best represents him. He's also really pleased that someone understands why books are so helpful.]

A bear, huh? Well, I'll have to look up what a bear paw looks like, but I'll be sure to put you down for it.

[And because she's getting major kid vibes, she reaches over to ruffle his hair.]

[Senri leans his head into the touch, always pleased to get head pats. Oh, and he can show her a bear paw too. Give him a second. He shifts one arm into a bear's.]

Paw...

[There. See?]

[OH. WOW. OKAY. Wendy takes a step back in surprise before she promptly takes on forward to look at it curiously.]

That... sure is a paw! Can you always do this?

[Yes, yes it is. He holds it closer to her so she can have a better look. In answer to her question he just says...]

Always.

Wow... I can't do anything like that.

[Important question: squishy pads? Time to test it out with a careful poke.]

It must be helpful, huh?

[Yep, squishy pads.

Senri isn't sure why he's being poked but he allows it. She probably knows what she's doing. And he nods again. His anima is very helpful.]

[Always gotta check for squishy pads.]

[Still, after a few poked, she lets up.]

Anyway, so that was lipstick! I think everything else here is to change people's appearances, too. You can even make your nails change color, if you wanted to.

[It does that too? Senri shifts his arm back to normal so he can pick the lipstick up again.

And smear it on his finger nails.]

[Oh- no, that's not- welp. Too late now.]

Ah. I mean, you could do that, but I meant...

[And she reaches over for the vast array of beauty products that have been given and picks up a container of nail polish.]

[Head tiiiiiilt? He's not too sure what he did wrong here. He looks at the bottle she picked up curiously.]

Lipstick is for lips. [Hmmm, but that's not enough.... She thinks about it as she undoes the bottle.] It'll get off your nails too easily.

But if you put this on right, it can stay on for a long time!

[He rubs at it. Yep, it comes off his nails immediately. So he watches to see what this new wondrous substance can accomplish.]

[Carefully, Wendy applies it to just one nail- she'd feel a little guilty if she took advantage of him- and then puts the bottle to the side. Holding his hand gently, she blows on the nail polish a bit and waits. A couple minutes and an experimental tap later, and she grins.]

There! It's dry now.

[He follows her lead and taps that nail himself. Then holds his hand closer for a better look. After a few moments of careful assessment, he smiles.]

Shiny...

Yeah! You can even get nail polish that glitters, so every time you move your fingers, they sparkle a little!

[Which are her favorite, for the record.]

I can make all of your nails different colors, if you want.

[He nods. Glitter is an intriguing prospect, but every nail being a different color sounds good too. And he has a suggestion for the next one.]
