Kairi and Goten are off on an adventure to answer a prayer in Aymeric's absence, since Goten wants to impress this god enough he'll stick around. Poor Goten is on God #3. Since Aymeric is Forseti, they learn that the beseecher - whose fish traps are getting their fish eaten after hauled in - is located on "Heligoland." For starters, where on earth is that?

[She laughs a bit at that.]

Well it's a specific island but...

[She stops as he calls for Nimbus.]

I mean, you are right that flying will help us out. And I do have a map of about where the island should be compared to the mainland.

[Not gonna keep calling it an archipelago with Goten. Just not. She crawls on top of Nimbus then and puts her legs to either side of Goten - yay for skorts - before holding onto his shoulders.]

Alright, ready.

[And she hangs on tight to her phone, but keeps the map page up.]

Oh.... That's okay! If you got a map then we're fine. There can't be that many islands...

[He waits for her to get securely on Nimbus and announce she's set before nodding. With a 'Let's go!', the cloud shoots off into the sky with the duo, shooting up high before soaring over the direction of the various islands. Once they get over the water, he leans to peek over the yellow cloud]

Thanks for coming with me, Kairi! I don't think I'd be able to find this place with your help!

[He means it too. How she knows so much or how to find things out is amazing. Kairi has to be one of the smartest people he knows.]

Is it a big island?

[She worries that he could be wrong considering they're on the sea coast, but maybe not. Or at least maybe there's not one of that size...? They could get lucky!]

Aww, you're welcome Goten. I know how much this means to you.

[He'd been there a week or two longer than she had and had rotten luck with gods - as many others had. With how well she gets along with her god and how well she gets along with her fellow shinki, she has a hard time imagining what it must be like for others. She just wants to help where she can. And after all, she couldn't invite him to the sleepover last night, so this was nice quality time too.]

Islands can get really, really big - enough to call it a country - so I'm going to say no it's not a very big island. You know how big some of the temples are? I think you could really only fit about two dozen of the temples on this whole island. It kind of looks like a duckbill to me.

[He glances back over his shoulder to her at that. It makes his smile a bit softer before his gaze shifts back to the scenery below them. He doesn't know if this really will make Aymeric stay longer but it's something. And that's more then enough to motivate him to try.]

A small island...that looks lik--- Ahha! Kairi! That one looks like a duckbill to me!

[Goten perks up, pointing down to the island before. The Nimbus cloud reacts and circles around before racing down towards the land. It screeches to a halt just above the ground and floats there for a moment to allow the two to hop off.]

I think this is it. C'mon lets find that guy!

[Kairi tries to remember the name of the guy's name from when they were at Aymeric's temple in the Far Shore.]

Frisch Singer... I think that was it? He's got to live pretty close to the coast of the island...

[She hops off along with Goten and takes his hand just because she knows it's not the Far Shore, where they know their way around better. They walk along the rocky beach, not at all like the tropical beach that Kairi's used to at Sora's temple of Baldr, before coming upon a bunch of wrecked nets and box traps piled up near a dock.]

Well that unfortunately looks promising. Maybe he's on one of the boats docked here...

[It was late afternoon so a bunch of small fishing boats were coming into the area.]

[Gripping her hand with his own, Goten swings there hands thoughtfully. Why didn't prayers come with photos of the person? It's good that Kairi remembered the name because...he didn't. It was too hard to say. Everything relating to Aymeric is hard to say...he's starting to wonder if there's a pattern here.]

Huh....oh wow!

[Goten gapes a little at the mess. The torn up nets are hard to miss--so is the man suddenly pushing pasted them and rushing over to the mess. A few curses can be heard and other harsh words that Goten doesn't really understand. Sailor talk? He points at the man's back as he glances up at Kairi]

I think that's him....--HEY MISTER!

[Goten calls over to him, waving wildly with his free hand.]

Is your name Fris Singer? Cause that's who we're looking for! We're gonna help save your fish.

Woo!

[It's really hard to get a Far Shore person's attention, let alone hold it, but maybe because the island is so small and there so few people to begin with, the people on Heligoland are more likely to answer anyone who talks to them in the first place.

So Kairi nods in agreement with Goten.]

That's right. If you're really trying not to kill the fish for food...

[Mr. Singer shakes his head.] Not at all - I sell them as aquarium animals on the mainland, to restaurants and then pet stores. The ones that don't sell, I'm sure most of them end up as food, but that's... [He scratches his chin.] I'm just not sure how two kids can save them from being eaten again. [Never mind how they learned about it in the first place.]

We can chase the creature off that's going after them! Your catch from today - [She points to the net that he's brought in this afternoon.] - leave it with us for a little while and we'll definitely figure out what creature is killing your fish.
