Kairi and Goten are off on an adventure to answer a prayer in Aymeric's absence, since Goten wants to impress this god enough he'll stick around. Poor Goten is on God #3. Since Aymeric is Forseti, they learn that the beseecher - whose fish traps are getting their fish eaten after hauled in - is located on "Heligoland." For starters, where on earth is that?

Two?! Why are there two of them!?
[He can't believe it. They were having trouble with just one but for there to be even more now. They need to take care of the darker brown-black one now before Kairi's borderline falls. He reaches out to grab the brown selkie by the tail. Gripping it tightly, he lifts it up and slams it down into the ground hard with a yell. Before repeating it again and again, making carters in the ground with each hit.
Just. Stay. Down!
It isn't heavy but he can only do it four times before he has to let go because his hands are burning.]

[She knows that touching the ayakashi like that means he's going to get blighted! Aymeric will feel it and bad things will happen! She shouldn't have done this without one of the two gods with them... Ugh, now she's going to make Roxas feel bad too... They have to get these ayakashi as down for the count as possible and return later.]
We should collapses the cave entrance, Goten! Let me knock the one into the other and then you can- AGH!
[The other creature shatters the borderline Kairi had been working to keep the cave entrance closed with, but she tries to set up a fresh one.]
BORDER! LINE!
[And Kairi pushes with both hands so that the one ayakashi is getting scooped up like a shovel into the other one, thrusting it towards its twin and back into the cave with a bright light blinding them both.]

They can't take them both on!
He watches as the two get knocked back into the cave before lifting his gaze to Kairi. Collapse the entrance? He can do that! Floating up into the air, he stops several feet into the air. Okay! He brings his hands to his right side, cupping them as another ball of energy forms in his hands. This time its much stronger and glows even brighter as he focuses and puts power into it. He holds the pose for another second or so before thrusting his hands forward and showing the beam down at the cave. Upon connecting with the cave explodes, collapsing in on itself in a pile of rubble and everything inside.
There!
He lets his shoulders drop, hands still burning but at least he can still do ki blasts!]
I think...that did it.

We can't stay to find out. Both Aymeric and Roxas will know we got hurt if we don't fix this soon.
[She's getting a little blight too just from pulling Goten against her, but she doesn't care right now - she pats Nimbus.]
Come on Nimbus, back to that shrine on the mainland - we need holy water and fast.
[She clings tight with one hand to Goten and the other onto the fluff of the cloud as it zooms off in a streak, Kairi's hair whipping around her as they fly.]

Huh? But they're not here with us, how will they get hurt?
[Are those ayakashi after them too? But...the ayakashi are trapped under the rubble. He doesn't stop kairi or nimbus. Kairi knows more about this shinki stuff then he does after all. His hands just...really hurt]

That's how blight works, Goten. If our gods get blighted, we don't feel it.
[She says from personal experience with a rueful tone in her voice, but doesn't come right out and say it was Roxas who got blighted.]
But if we get blight on us, then our gods feel it too.
[Thankfully they arrive at the shrine and Kairi tugs on Goten's hand towards the holy water.]
And since Aymeric only has you, he won't have to guess why he's feeling that way. Roxas won't know right away who it was, so I need to send him a message right away, as soon as we get us both taken care of.
[And she locates a little bowl to fill up and splash right onto the worst of Goten's blight.]

[Goten looks devastated. He didn't think any of that at all. He's not use to having a god around to worry about this kind of thing. It never happened with Archie or Hazel. When he had gotten blighted before, he didn't have a god so it didn't come up. But..Aymeric can feel this too? He frowns, staring down at his blighted hands--- Wait, how did Kairi get blighted? He looks at her confused, looking her up and down before they arrive at the shrine. He doesn't resist her as she tugs his hand to the holy water, only winches a little]
B-but you didn't touch the ayakashi. Why would you and Roxas be hurt?
[WHY IS EVERYONE GETTING HURT FROM HIS BLIGHT?!?!]

[She pours more water on him and then herself as well. While the water is taking effect, Kairi sends a message to Roxas so that he won't worry as much as if she hadn't said anything at all. She tries to look sympathetic at Goten.]
Blight can spread when we touch someone else who's blighted... and... I felt really bad about you getting hurt. Our gods can feel that sort of... guilty feeling we have.
[With them both clean of it though, she reaches down to hug him.]
We can't ever prevent getting blighted, Goten - I don't think we can, anyway, even when we're really careful. It's okay that it happens. What matters is that we came here right away to take care of it. And I just told Roxas about it too, so he doesn't have to wonder if Raichi or Senri got hurt. Maybe just... don't grab Ayakashi by their tails next time, okay?
[She gives him a light kiss on his forehead for reassurance though.]
