Who: Leona and Guy Cecil
What: Answering a prayer as an icebreaker
When: June 22, noon.
Where: Temple of Sol, the Near Shore. At least to start.
Leona appeared in her temple on Earth with a small flash of light. It was the first time she had been to the Near Shore, but she was determined that if she was going to do this god thing, then she was going to do it RIGHT, and that meant answering prayers.
She still hadn't figured out what all this strange dreamworld had to do with the Last Sun, or the Summit. Part of her wondered if anything since she had reached the Summit had been real, or if she had gone mad when gazing beyond the realms meant for humans.
But there was a job in front of her and she was going to do it. That was how she had lived her life for as long as she could remember. She pulled out her cell phone and slowly and laboriously typed out a message for her Shinki:
"Dear Guy Cecil,
Due to various circumstances, we have never met face to face. However as I understand it, we are to be partners of a sort. I am going to answer the prayer of a man who seeks strength and guidance. I ask that you come with me, for strength and guidance of my own, and so that we may get to know each other.
Leona,
Standing in for the god Sol"
Then she leaned against the side of the shrine and waited.

This text was also unusual in that it wasn't from Watanuki, but the sender mentioned that they were to be partners, meaning he'd been assigned to a god in addition to the one he'd been 'adopted' by. Not a horrible prospect, but certainly potentially awkward if 'Sol' wasn't the sharing type.
He'd just have to keep that fact to himself for a while, just in case.
I'd be happy to help. Where do you want to meet? I'm afrad I'm not familiar enough with Sol's temples to find you quickly.

She fiddled with the phone for a while.
I do not know how much I trust the map contained within this device, but if I am using it correctly, I believe my location on the Near Shore to be-
And then she listed off an address. It wasn't the CORRECT address, but it was very close.

It took him a little bit, but he eventually found the shrine in question. There weren't many people around, so at least it wasn't too hard to narrow down who the god was. Or goddess in this case, if he had the right person.
"Um, hello? You're Leona--er, Sol?--right? I'm Guy."

Eventually a young blond man appeared, with the face of someone looking for someone he's never seen before. That must be him.
"Please. Leona. I don't feel like a Sol yet."
She held out a gloved hand to shake.

And then she held out her hand, obviously for a shake. It was an entirely innocent act, but he still felt anxious, a little like she had just held a large spider out to him and asked him to pet it. Regardless, after a few seconds of staring awkwardly at her hand, he reaches out to grasp hers in what is possibly the world's quickest handshake before pulling his hand back.
"S-so...we're going to go answer a prayer, right?"

"That's right. A man's mother is dying in a hospital. He seeks strength and guidance."
She turned from Guy and stared out at the strange city that stretched out before her, hands on her hips. Divine senses she barely understood pointed her towards the tiny source of belief that every god instinctively craved. "It's not a monster to be slain or a village to be protected, but starting small seems like a good idea right now."
