Dekuku~! Good Morning!

[There's no need to knock. Hajime greets him excitedly. He'll have to look up to see her sitting on the high arch way that hangs just over the front door of her temple. It's pretty high up. She grins at him, feet kicking as she dangles them off the edge. She's accompanied on either side by a few feathery friends. The vultures seem pretty at home there as well as they turn their heads to stare down at Deku curiously.]

I didn't expect you to come by! It's been too long! I'll be right down okay? Catch me!

[Hajime calls down to the hero, waving wildly]

Here I come, Deeeekuku! Ready---Go!

[And with that, she scoots closer to the edge before hopping off and falling down to Deku]

[Oh dear god. There's not a lot of things scarier than a friend falling from a high place.

He catches her, but he also ends up flat on his back from the impact. She's lucky Izuku's got One for All, because otherwise that could have been bad.]

Be careful!

[Hajime laughs, she knew Deku would catch her. She fully trusts her friend and fellow hero. She sits ontop of him, shifting a bit.]

Dekuku, are you okay? I didn't mean to surprise you.

[She gets up after second. Once she's standing, she spins around and holds her hand out for him to take. She can't just leave him like that!]

I'm happy to see you!

I'm fine...

[But honestly nobody goes and jumps into their friends arms from stories above.

... Probably. He's pretty sure nobody else he knows would do anything like that.

But he'll laugh as he takes her hand.]

It's good to see you too. It's been way too long.

[Holding his hand, she leans back to help pull him up to his feet. But even once he's standing, she doesn't let go. If anything, her smile grows.]

Way, way, waayyyyyy too long! But, you're here now and I'm glad! We gotta catch up! You're not busy, right, right?

[She gently tugs on his hand as she swings it side to side. She's trying to lead him into the temple. That's when it hits her. He's probably here for a reason otherwise there would have been a text or something. Or she would guess so anyway.]

Did you need anything, Dekuku?

[He'll let her keep holding onto his hand. He's much more used to letting Shouto do it at this point- it's different with him, but he's got a very good idea why.]

I'm not busy right now.

[He was the one who came here, right?]

There's nothing pressing, I think I just need to talk to somebody about something. And... we're close right? Uh... if you're fine with listening, I'd really appreciate it.

[Hajime stares at him for a moment, her smile softening as she beams at him. Deku is a sweet heart. Such a good person and great hero. She reaches out with her free hand and grabs a hold of his hand with both of her own. She gives it a gentle reassuring squeeze]

I'm all ears. We don't need to be fighting ayakashi or protecting people for me to have your back, Dekuku! Always!

[She tugs him along to the temple. Today it's just her home, which is probably good for Deku. Both her shinki are out and about. Something she's been working more with Yuto on.]

Come in! We can talk inside. Are you thirsty or is your stomach rumbley?

[His smile relaxes into something much more genuine. Yeah, he made a good decision coming to Hajime with this.]

Thanks. You know I'm always here for you too, right?

[He's gives no resistance and is easily tugged along.]

I'm a little thirsty, but not much. Maybe just some water?

[She leads him inside, hand and hand, as he takes him to the living room thats set up a big wrap around couch and too many colorful pillows to count.]

Mmhmm! Dekuku is super sweet and great to bounce off of. I know I can zoom over to your apartment whenever! You're always welcome here! Shouto too!

[She lets go of his hand to clap her own together.]

I'll get some water real quick. Get cozy and then we can talk.

[With that she skips off to the kitchen]

[... Considering she just used him as a landing pad-]

Please don't literally bounce off of me. I'm not made of rubber...

[But for now he'll settle into the couch. Comfortable! Colorful- very much Hajime.]

[Just as quick as she's gone, she's back! Two water bottles tucked inbetween her arm as she places a tray of colorful macaroons. They're both the two of them to share if Izuku changes his mind. Hajime likes sugary things when she's thinking or talking about important things. Snaking on sugary things is a must!

She sets the tray down on the small table in front of the couch.]

Ta-da! Here Dekuku, help yourself!

[She smiles, holding out the water bottle to him as well before she plops down next to him, making the cushion bounce up a bit]

[He takes the water bottle with a smile, breaking open the seal and taking a drink.

Okay. He can do this. He can say this out loud to Hajime of all people.]

... I like my partner.

[Wait, that doesn't seem quite right.]

I mean, of course I like him! He's a friend from home! A-and he just got his memories of me back. [Izuku subsequently cried all over him.] Now that all of that's happened and we're spending so much time together, I... I have a crush?

[Hajime hasn't even had the chance to stuff anything into her face when Izuku burst out. She blinks owlishly at him, holding the little macaroon between her finger tips]

Dekuku....

[She considers it thoughtfully. Right now Deku only has one partner. At least that she knows of. That's from his home too! Hajime's eyes light up and she squeals.]

You mean Sho-kun! Right? He got his memories back too? That's wonderful, Dekuku!

[Love is in the air and it comes with memories!]

[Izuku is bright red as he adjusts to having that all out in the open.]

Sho-kun? [He's pretty sure he's never heard anybody call Shouto that before.] Todoroki Shouto. With his red and white hair.

Yeah, he got them back recently. On the 20th. I was so happy. [Is he tearing up a little bit now? Yes he is.] There's still a lot I can't talk to him about, but at least I can bring up things that we did back home. He's always been so reliable...

Yes. Sho-kun! I know him! I think....I think it was back in April! Yeah! You guys were helping a maid cafe. He's got a coolest hair!

[Yep, they're talking about the same person alright. Izuku turning red really makes Hajime want to poke his cheeks but she resists...for now and instead flicks the macaroon into her mouth as he talks. Deku is really sweet. This is a sugar overdose and she's loving it. She leans over, bumping him gently with her shoulder.]

Is he happy too? With you?

Ah... that's right. I knew you wouldn't forget.

[Even if his pride really wishes she would. That was so embarrassing.

He manages a small, wobbly smile.]

Yeah... He is. You know how we can sort of pick up on our shinki's feelings? He feels... happy, and I've seen him smiling a lot more these days.

[How could she forget? She took pictures of the whole thing! It was too good to forget about.]

That's a good sign! I bet he smiles a lot around you huh?

[Hajime reaches out to ruffles that messy curly dark green mop that Izuku calls hair]

Dekuku! if your heart is going doki-doki, then maybe his is too? You gotta listen to it! You should say something to him about it! Somewhere where it's just the two of you!

Yeah, he does. I'm really lucky. [And he's so stunning when he smiles.

He bows his head and lets her go at it, laughing all the while.]

T-Talk to him about it? I don't want to make him uncomfortable! He's still adjusting to knowing we knew each other at home.

Mmmmm, it's your call since it's your feelings. But I think it's best to get everything out on the table sooner rather then later. Let him know what you're feeling before you get awkward about it or maybe give him the wrong idea. Especially if you try to hide it or say it's something else.

[She pulls her hand back from his hair only long enough to poke at his cheek.]

Dekuku is the type of person who thinks and thinks! You face gives that away! You have a big heart but your feelings are going to bubble over! Even if it's difficult, face it head on!

[He sighs, letting her prod at him. She's right, and he's already starting to overthink it.

Tell Shouto about his feelings? They're already at ease with each other, Shouto just got his memories back. Shouto's not exactly somebody who's the most in-touch with his feelings and...

And... It's got the potential to make things very awkward between them for who knows how long. If Shouto felt uncomfortable with him after this, then he'd break their partnership if Shouto asked him to. The thought of that makes him wince, but he always wants the best for the people around him, even at the detriment of himself. It's fine as long as Shouto is happy.

He has not noticed he's started to mumble all of this aloud.]

[Hajime is a very patient person. Or she can be, anyway. She sits there, still poking at Izuku's cheek all the while. She lets him get lost in his thoughts and the mumbling doesn't really come as a surprise. It draws a sigh out of her though.

Maybe overthinking was an understatement for her beloved hero-buddy.]

[Getting up slowly, it's only one or two steps for her to stand in front of him. She reaches with both hands slowly, letting her fingertips lightly brush against his cheek as she cups his face. She tries to get him to tilt his head up to look at her. Hajime leans down, her hair curtaining around their faces as she stops just short of touching noses with him. There's a long silence as she just stares intently into those green eyes.]

Dekuku...

[She tugs a bit harder before finally letting go. Her right hand drops to his chest.]

[At least he's broken from his mumblefest.]

[He looks at her hand on his chest.]

... I really care about him. I want to spend all my time around Todoroki.

[Hajime he keeps her hand over his chest, pressing a little more.]

Ding-Ding~♫! Then that's your answer! Dekuku, it's okay to have butterflies and be worried about people you love. You have a huggggge heart! A heroes' heart! I can feel it going Doki, doki, doki~! It beats strong! Protecting everyone is what heroes do, but you gotta be honest to yourself and your partner. Sho-kun knows you well, right? You're close and smile a lot around each other, right?

[She points to herself] I donno him that well but he looks super sharp. Like, Sharp enough to cut through almost anything.

[Hajime smiles softly as she giggles, pulling back her hand from his chest to slowly to rest on it his shoulder.]

Dekuku. You're awful at hiding your feelings and you shouldn't. Regardless if Sho-kun shares your dokis, it's good to be open.

[She squeezes his shoulder as if trying to give him her own strength]

I don't think you're giving him or you enough credit. You're a strong team. You gotta believe in that strength.

[He's incredibly obvious and every emotion shows directly on his face. That's true- there's a reason his hero costume has a mask attached to it.

He lets everything she says sink in. Shouto is observant when he knows what he's supposed to be looking for. Izuku's fairly sure he doesn't know about his massive crush.]

We've always worked well together. He's... always been there for me, whenever I needed help.

[Really consistently, now that he thinks about it. Ever since the sports festival, almost every time he was in danger Shouto would be there to help him.

He smiles back.]

It's... probably going to take me a while to bring it up.

[He's fighting through a lot of nerves and embarrassment here, after all.]

Just do your best, Dekuku. I know you can do it. You're strong, remember that, okay? It doesn't have to be today or tomorrow. Just do it before it starts eating at you. Sooner the better.

[Hajime is excited, it practically radiates off her. She doesn't know Shouto that well so she can't really say how it will go but she's just got to hope for the best. Regardless of the outcome, Izuku will be better for it. She'll have to keep her fingers crossed for them.]

Hey, hey! Just don't forget to invite me to the wedding, okay?

Thanks. I knew I could count on you.

[He'll do it... He'll even do it before his birthday, it's coming up faster than he thought.

Hajime, don't you think we're skipping a couple of steps there!

I'm glad! You're a great friend, Dekuku! I'm so happy!

[And just like that, she throws herself on him and hugs him tight. Best hero friends got to stick together!]

Sqqqqueeeeze! Are we skipping a couple steps? Ah, that's your job to fill out those steps. Uwahhhhh~! Dekuku! Thats TMI! T! M! I! That's between you and Sho-kun!

[She laughs all the while, hugging him tight]

You're a great friend too, Hajime. ... Thanks for listening to me.

[His face is certainly going red with this much affection, but he'll reach out and hug her back.]

First he has to say yes.

Of course! I'll always listen even if you got a lot to say! It better to get it out or it'll bubble all day in your head. Especially you, Dekuku!

[She giggles, giving him another squeeze after he hugs her back]

[Or is it that Izuku's just that easy to read? It's probably both.]
