What: Niles and Zoro have a much needed discussion





[Niles had decided to come over that night just to relax. After everything that was going on back at his temple, lord knows he needed Zoro more than anything today. He has his memories back, at least of Leo, and he loves his lord and god, but he wants his mind on anything but. What with the party planning that's going on, he wants to bring Zoro to that.

But he knows other things have to happen first. He's not going to force Zoro to go.

Climbing into bed with him, he moves to kiss him on the lips.]

Mmm, one day, we'll do this at my temple.

[Grinning. At least settling in first. Then they could talk.]

[Zoro smiles and kisses him back, throwing his blankets on top of Niles' body, making sure he's well covered.]

Won't your god get mad?

[He gets comfortable, head laying on Niles' shoulder.]

Well, we could try and make sure you aren't so loud this time.

[He smiles, moving to touch Zoro's leg, giving him a small squeeze.]

But he shouldn't mind... in fact, I wanted to know something.

[wadoichimonji]

Me? You're the loud one.

[Zoro hums in approval.]

[deniles]

Hardly.

[He sighs.]

...I want you to meet... my best friend. As someone who I care about.

[wadoichimonji]

You know you like moaning my name.

[He raises an eyebrow, knowing full well Niles can't see it.]

Why the sigh? That doesn't seem like a bad idea.

[deniles]

I do. But not always.

[He gives him a shove.]

I'm just... not sure what we are.

[wadoichimonji]

[Zoro raises an eyebrow, looking at Niles, curious.]

Aren't we lovers?

[deniles]

...Not boyfriends?

[He doesn't sound offended, because he's flexible, but he's curious.]

I didn't think you'd like to have the label of 'boyfriend' with me.

[deniles]

E... eh? Why not?

[wadoichimonji]

[Zoro sighs, and pats Niles' head, playing with his hair.]

I just... didn't think you'd stay with me.

[deniles]

...You're the only guy who doesn't get scared of me or wants to kill me. Plus...

[He moves his head back and forth with the patting and playing of his hair.]

I love you. I said that before, but I'll say it again.

[wadoichimonji]

You're not scary, but I can see why someone would want to kill you.

[He sighs, still playing with Niles' hair.]

I know, I just...

[He can't bring himself to say he felt insecure.]

[deniles]

Oh, I'm fully aware of why someone would want to kill me.

[He sighs lightly, looking up at Zoro.]

...If you don't want to tell me, it's fine. But I am willing to listen.

[wadoichimonji]

At least you know that.

[Zoro looks away from that beautiful eye and just...]

I was unsure of myself.

[deniles]

...Why? You shouldn't be...

[Did he do something wrong? To upset Zoro and make him feel unsure.]

You're wonderful.

[wadoichimonji]

Me?

[He passes a hand through Niles' hair, smiling softly.]

You're the one that's wonderful, I don't think there's anyone that could compare to you.

[deniles]

You could. You do every time.

[He loves Zoro's fingers touching him like that.]

You're far better than I.

[wadoichimonji]

[He frowns, while playing with Niles' hair.]

Don't say that; you're a good man, even if you don't believe it.

[deniles]

...Mmm, not as good as you. I promise.

[He groans, resting his head against Zoro's body.]

You're just something else.

[wadoichimonji]

If you say so.

[He pets Niles' head and smiles into his neck.]

As so are you, Niles.

[deniles]

I do say so... because you're amazing.

[He shuts his eyes and sighs into Zoro's body.]

Not in the same vein as you.

[wadoichimonji]

You're never gonna run out of compliments, are you?

[He's never been this comfortable in his short life, who knew sleeping with someone so close to you could be so good?]

What do you mean?

[deniles]

For you, never. You should be thankful I can think of so many.

[Niles never could either. He just feels so at ease.]

You're kind, sweet, and gentle... but also fucking amazing at rocking my world. No one's like you.

[wadoichimonji]

Oh? I should learn a bit from you then.

[He laughs, softly.]

Heh... You're amazing, you know that?

[deniles]

Nah, I should learn more from you.

[He kisses him again on the cheek.]

Not as amazing as you.

[wadoichimonji]

[Zoro smiles softly, touching the place where Niles kissed him.]

If I keep telling you how great you are you're just going to throw it back at me, aren't you?

[deniles]

Of course it is.

[He kisses Zoro's hand when it touches that spot.]

[wadoichimonji]

[Zoro stares at Niles the whole time.]

Sap.

[deniles]

Oh please. You're way worse than me.

[And that's a compliment.]

[wadoichimonji]

[Zoro laughs, and just stares at Niles.]

[deniles]

...Alright, stop.

[He pushes a hand against Zoro's face.]

[wadoichimonji]

[He laughs even harder.]

This one can be done unless you want to keep going with it

You're the worst.

[But he chuckles and moves in to kiss him again.]
