Schuldig wakes up to find that Jennifer has vanished. Being the telepath between her two gods, he's aware the connection is hers that severed. That doesn't mean he's happy about it, or that he's about to act rationally about it either. He's out for revenge and before he goes to "meet" with Hijikata, he needs to blow off some steam.

So who's the lucky target gonna be...

"That's what I thought you'd say." Schuldig grins and holds up his hand. This much he's familiar with. He's cast this spell so many times, and the words are just as bitter in his mouth to say, as against his nature really as Hibari is now without that fire inside him.

Schuldig just can't change the phrasing without risking the Naming process going wrong. He doesn't hold onto the spiral of colors as long as normal this time, to reduce the sheer duration of time he has to focus on keeping Hibari's soul muzzled. Flecks of yellow and orange light started to appear around them.

"Spirit, you are lost and adrift
You have nowhere to go and nowhere to return to
Thus I grant you a place to belong!"

His eyes start to glow brighter blue than they already are.

"My name is Loki!"

That's when, instead of random swirls, Schuldig starts to draw a character in the air...

Hibari just stared at him the entire time he recited the chant he's heard before, vaguely wondering why he wasn't running away or feeling more panicked about this. It wasn't exactly like he couldn't escape, he just couldn't see the thing that was holding him in place.

The god traced out the kanji for 'control'- seiki, its disgusting-and as it settled, Hibari could think of nothing more than how he was about to just transform again. The thought of that made the shinki rebel somewhat in Schuldig's grasp but he settled down at his body transformed in a glowing motion.

Once he decided to call his new weapon, Schuldig would find his hands full with a powerful looking grenade launcher.

"Bearing two names you shall remain here

Schuldig waits until the weapon comes into his hands and then sees the grenade launcher. "Well now! This'll make things easier haha."

Not waiting much longer, he tries to get a bead on a prayer that he's been lingering on, something that he can really let loose on.

'I will soon be too feeble to perform my craft that honors your stories, oh Loki, but my pupils have all gone missing for one reason or another. I pray that their families allow them to return to the art before these old bones give out on me.'

Gone missing huh... "Alright, time to take out a boogeyman." And Schuldig teleports them out to... ah ha, it's Rotenburg ob der Tauber. A city lost in time.

At the very least Schuldig's influence didn't lessen Hibari's curiousity at going to a place he'd ever seen before. Somehow he figured in his lost memories maybe he had, but this place felt entirely foreign to him.

Hibari wanted to shift around, but he couldn't. He didn't like being held-or he wouldn't be pleased, but there was little he could do but sit calmly and feel Schuldig's hands around....was it a projectile? A grenade launcher. At least something useful.

I don't see any ayakashi here. He could at the very least hope that Schuldig knew where this cloud of bees or whatever they were hunting was because Hibari's only ability was to rapidly replicate any shots the god fired out of the weapon.

Schuldig huffed. "No shit. I'm not happy about it either." He started looking around. "Gotta find one of these students of the old broad first..."

Thankfully he's a telepath so he doesn't have to drag this out very long. He scans until he finds a student walking around a nearby alleyway, art notebook in hand, clearly dithering about whether or not he wanted to go to class or not. Schuldig in full charm mode, teleports around the corner and leaves the Hibari-gun off to the side so he can talk to the kid.

" 'Scuze me there... I'm looking for a master woodcarver, lives in this area, you seen her place?" He can bullshit about being a journalist or something if need be, but at least around here he's got the right accent and speaks fluent German too. The main point is he asked a pointed question and even if he doesn't get a direct answer out loud, he can read it on the guy's mind.

"Well... it's just down there on the corner of the square, but- I don't think you want to go there right now. It's haunted or something - like God is ready to take her soul any day now and ours along with it!" The boy replies nervously.

"Is that so...? I'll just have to be extra careful - what if we walked together, huh?" He might need to make the boy forget he's seeing a grenade launcher.

The grenade launcher didn't really care about being seen or not, he more just didn't want to be left on a street corner. Logically he knew the guy wouldn't go to the trouble of nora'ing him if he didn't intend to use Hibari, but distrust didn't fade away like anger did.

He could at least hear the conversation from where he was-good, whatever it was that they were hunting was close. Maybe it would be tough to fight too. He wanted at least a good fight out of this.

I want to go there.

Schuldig does go ahead and perform a little bit of jedi mind trickery to convince the boy he didn't see what he think he saw - but not send him on his way just yet, just forget what he's about to say as well too.

Then, to his rocket launcher: "I was thinking the same thing. How convenient." Especially if that will to fight was coming back - the will to fight anyone aside from him was okay. That was good and probably necessary. However, he wondered if he might need a second dose if Hibari got too riled up.

Back to the boy: "The house is not haunted." "The house is not haunted," he repeats. "Tomorrow you'll go back to lessons like nothing happened." "Tomorrow I'll go back to lessons like nothing happened." "There we go..." And he motions for the boy to leave.

"Haunting, yeah right - sounds like an ayakashi to me."

Hibari was a bit rowdy especially when it came to fighting and he was starting to get antsy just sitting there as a weapon. He had at the very least expected some sort of fight from this.

Can we go now? I want to fight it.

His anger hadn't quite come back at all; feeling numb did that to him. But he was restless and unable to sit still. From here he couldn't sense anything at all, and talking to people were too boring. I want to fight it.

"Oh yeah. Now that I know it's a better than 50% chance that there's an ayakashi involved, that makes it worth my time." Because he could have - possibly - felt like sending his own shinki to check this out instead of himself... but this is Hibari. And he doesn't trust Hibari getting any further than at his fingertips.

"Alright..." And he teleports just outside of the building. He takes an extra 10 seconds to confirm what Hibari's power is to him as a god, and to scan the building for any hapless mundanes that he could either use as bait or at least to get them to avoid the area so he doesn't have to bother with them.
