Making friends, maybe? [closed]
Who: Viktor and Yurick!
What: Who knows? Viktor would bug him because he thinks fire is awesome, and then will ask for lessons on how to be better for his god. And try to get to know him, I guess.
When: July 5th-ish? This is vague
Where: Around! Probably starting out with an invitatation to Bastet's temple for Yurick, and then wherever the heck they go when Yuri kicks them out.
Warnings: Likely none, although Viktor is a warning all on his own.
He hadn't checked with his god first, but then, he was a resident of the temple and thought inviting Yurick over might be fun. He'd been wanting to talk with him for awhile now! It was the best way to get to know someone, after all.
So he was sprawled on his mass of cat beds that he'd arranged into a very weird looking but extremely comfortable bed for himself, three or four cats of varying shapes and sizes clambering onto him immediately. He hoped Yurick didn't mind cat hair, because as much as he cleaned, it was never enough.

At least if he sees Yuri again, Yurick can tell him that his new feline companion is doing very well.
He stops at the door to the gaudy temple and hesitates before pulling out his phone. Surely calling Viktor is better than just knocking and hoping someone hears him? Or maybe a text is better? He taps out a quick message-- I'm at the front door and sends it, feeling a nervous little flutter in his stomach. He's still not very used to being social, and this feels so odd to him.

But he gently moved the cats - three housecats and some sort of leopard that he'd managed to befriend - enough to leave the bed when the text came through.
Odd as it might feel to Yurick, Viktor wasn't exactly used to it himself. Sure, he'd quickly found that he could be social and that he genuinely liked people, but since he really didn't know anyone well as yet, it was hard for him to feel entirely comfortable. Hence, the invitation!
"Hello! Don't mind the kitties, they're everywhere. There are usually a lot more roaming around, but Yuri seems to be out at the moment."

"I remember from the first time I was here. I met your god outside when I was walking my dog, and there were quite a few cats around. I certainly don't mind, though, I like cats." Yurick crouched down to give a gray cat a quick headscratch when it rubbed against his ankles. It was a good distraction from his nerves. "Have you been well, Viktor? It's nice to see you again."
no subject
He smiled a little shyly, unsure exactly how to proceed. He wanted to be friends with this person, but he also found him to be really attractive, and he didn't want to simply start flirting like an idiot. Yurick didn't seem the type to enjoy that sort of thing.
"I've been very well! And you?" he asked as the turned to lead the way through the temple.

The gray cat finally wandered off, leaving Yurick no option but to straighten and turn his attention fully to Viktor. He didn't quite meet the man's gaze, feeling his ears and cheeks warm a bit when he tried.
"I-- I've been managing. My god wants me to be more social, so I've been trying my best. It's not easy, though."
no subject
He grinned at the sight of Yurick's blush, but decided not to comment on it and possibly embarrass him more than he already was.
"Hmmm, so you're not really a social person? You could have fooled me, I find it very comfortable to talk with you."
