It's probably the absolute worst prayer he could've gotten: an otaku in search of merchandise, turning to a god for help. Now, it's not that it's a bad thing, mind... it's that Ran is so not the right one for the job. He's not an otaku by any stretch, but finding a limited edition hentai figure of Princess Ayaboshi from some anime series called Crystal Blue Snake of the Night? He's never even heard of it before!

Though, it's probably a very good thing his shinki is younger than he is, because maybe this will be Yoon's area of expertise? Or at least, he hopes it will be...

Where do they even start looking for this thing? Why would anybody beseech an Aztec god for this instead of a god of finding things? Why can't the requester just find a girlfriend instead? On second thought, no. He doesn't want to think about that. At all. Just focus on finding this silly toy and finishing the mission.

"Any suggestions on where to begin?"

Don't fail him, Yoon! He's counting on you!

He blinks and gets incredibly confused when Ran turns to HIM for ideas. "This is a guy who wants a Princess toy?"

Yoon is very incredulous. It sounds completely unimportant, the kind of thing that no one - least of all a god - should be worried about. He folds his hands over his chest. "I understand struggling for food, or clothes, and not having the money for it so you turn to a god for help... or even looking for a marriage blessing from a god, but a toy? Don't you have any other followers who need help?"

As far as he's concerned this is a big PASS.

"Look, the only reason I agreed to this one was because it seemed simple enough. It's not my fault this guy decided to ask a 'blood, guts, and gore' god to find himself a toy. Would you rather I have taken one that could potentially end with my bones back on the outside or my body and bedridden for another month?"

He understands that it's frustrating. Actually, Ran really wishes that he didn't feel like he needed to work himself up to a more difficult prayer, but until he gets accustomed to not jumping straight into making blades out of his own limbs, it's probably for the best. "We take the easy one first and get it over with, then we can do something a little more... worthwhile." Well, that and they can see how well they can work together on something mundane before tackling something life-or-death.

Ran is getting the most indignant face from Yoon right now because: "What shinki in their right mind would want to see their god with their bones outside their body and bedridden for a month? That's a terrible option and this one isn't great either." Rock and a hard place, indeed, but he sighs with one hand against his forehead.

"Fine. For the sake of your health, you can take it easy today." Then he looks up at Ran again, a slight smirk there. "For all we know, Princess Ayaboshi could be the Crystal Blue Snake of the Night - a terrifying creature when transformed." He's been reading a lot of folklore books, lately. "How do you know that's the toy he wants, anyway? Was that his exact words when he prayed to you?"
