Days like these
Who: Mikoto Suoh and Open
What: Food, sleep and kids.
When: Month of April (OOC) July (IC)
Where: The Near and Far Shore
Summary: Open post for the month.
i. Food Deprivation
[ It may have to do with the fact that he’s determined not to have Izumo cook all his meals for him that Mikoto finds himself hungry a lot these days so for whatever reason he’s agreed to lunch with you. So pull up a chair, while the dining room proudly presents yourdinner lunch. Open to anything here. ]
ii. Sleeping with the Enemy
[ Mikoto is lying on the grass, hands folded behind his head as a make-shift pillow while he dozes off mid-afternoon while an ayakashi mauls at his throat. ]
Hmnn.
[ He pushes the hamster-like creature off his throat and sets it back on the grass without ever opening an eye. The ayakashi, in turn, runs up his arm, it’s stubby feet slipping on the white shirt several times before finally finding purchase and heading right for his throat again, its small teeth. Irritation growing, Mikoto grabs the little furball and plants him back on the grass for the fourth time. ]
Stop that.
[ Someone take the furball away so he can get some sleep. ]
iii. Babysitter
[ Somehow, another kid has found themselves attached to the Red King and Mikoto is not happy about this in the least, so when he runs across another human being, he’s going to try and slip the kid to them. ]
You.
[ Mikoto stands in front of them with the six year old boy hiding behind his leg, peeking up at this new person. ]
You know this kid.
iv. Wildcard
[ Write your own scenario. I'm open to anything so go ahead, I'll jump in! ]

Babysitter
Izumo just blinks at Mikoto, giving him a somewhat unimpressed look.]
Mikoto, you can't just pawn a kid off to someone else.
[Better yet, why is there a kid with you, anyway? ]
no subject
What else am I supposed to do with him.
no subject
He wants you, so spend some time with him. [Izumo's got his own kids to handle; don't try to give him another kid.]

You do it.

He walks over, leaning a bit to look down at Mikoto. Wow, this guy is a rock. He blinks at the 'sleeping' man several times before reaching into his pocket and pulling out a small bottle of water. Opening it, he turns it over, and dumps it on Mikoto's face, neck and a bit on his hand.]

What are you doing.
no subject
[Truth be told its holy water. He doesn't know Mikoto so he just figures the man needs it after watching the hamster try and tear at his throat. What a weird adult.]
Lots of people told me to carry some in case something happened to me but I think you need it a lot more....Are you okay, Mister ?
no subject
Don't waste your water.

ii. I told you it was coming
...the hell?
Well. Whatever. It makes for a good opportunity as any as he speeds onto the scene on his skateboard a few mere moments after Mikoto deposits the little menace back on the grass. Before it can return to turning the god into its afternoon snack, Yata puts on a burst of speed to close te distance. His foot connects with the hamster-like creature, knocking it up into air a moment before he executes a perfect spin-kick on his board, wheels flaming and sparking with Red Aura.
The ayakashi goes flying into the distance, very much on fire, and Yata lands beside the napping king with a fist-pump and a crow of victory. ]
Ha! Take that!
[ Which prompts him to glance down at the god who's still just laying there to prod him with his toe. ]
Oi! Did you see that? Are you dead already?

Haaaaah.
don't make him go get a bottle of water, dude. He'll do it.
Don't you dare! He's got enough people throwing water at him w/out you helping! >_<

That guy who called out his new god and... a kid? Somehow, he feels that Suoh's the kind of guy kids just flock to despite the intimidating exterior. Though he does pale ever so slightly when the red king calls to him. ]
Uh... no. I'm afraid not.
[ A beat. ]
He can see us?
no subject
Haaa.

no subject
Aaaaaand turning his attention back to the Red King. ]
That's weird... where'd you pick him up?

He started following me at the park.

Haa.
[ A noise of affirmation as Mikoto looks down at the kid, gauging his reaction. He doesn't seem scared of her, good. ]

The meet up was set at one of the large group of food trucks that settled themselves in the downtown area for tourists. They'd have a variety of stuff they could pick from and hopefully the laid-back environment would make this go smooth. Bandou will be standing out in the middle of the square, causally tapping at his phone while he waits. ]
no subject
Yo.
[ Smoke lingers behind him, as he comes to a stop behind his clansmen, a cigarette tucked between his fingers. ]
no subject
Hey.
[ He pauses, maybe a bit awkwardly, not exactly sure what to say next. But, as he glaces around at the different food trucks, he decides that it's probably best to hang out a bit before bringing up his real reason for asking to hang out. ]
Ah, what are you in the mood for?

I do not. And you should try to find someone who does. Not try to push the child on someone else. It could be dangerous.
iii
Where's the police station.
iii
He shrugs, because he doesn't know the answer to that...question that was phrased like a question but said with a bit of a flat tone. ]
There's usually police boxes at a lot of street corners, aren't there?
