Open ~ Wandering and Exploring Pup
Who: Eric and You! (Open)
What: Eric has decided to wander around and explore for a day.
When: July 4th
Where: Near shore
Warnings: None?
I. Finding Strays
[ Eric had decided to was time to go out, explore and figure out the area of the Near Shore. In case there were any attacks, it could be useful to have more information on the terrain, shortcuts and whatnot. He had figured he could spend the day wandering getting to know the town...
What he hadn't figured, was finding a shiba inu puppy in a box just on the street. He looked around, not finding anyone even paying attention to the poor thing. Eric sighed, picking up the small puppy, he hoped that at least, the thing was lost instead of just being abandoned...Thinking that left a bad taste in his mouth.
The small pup wagged its tail at its new comfy home in Eric's arms, looking up at him with bright, happy eyes. The blond sighed, better to get started.
He wandered around the area, trying to see if anyone looked like they were looking for a dog, or asking around. But no luck so far. Finally he tried to start asking people themselves, but, well...was ignored since he was technically dead. He vaguely wondered if people saw a floating dog but there weren't any people freaking out over it so probably not.
But he keeps trying, approaching people and asking a simple enough question. ]
You seen anyone looking for a dog?
II. What Does that Say?
That's not right...
[ Eric tilted his head, staring at the park sign. It was a map with some key locations and paragraphs about them. And he had been staring at it for probably over an hour know, figuring what it said. He was half mumbling to himself most of that time, trying out the words if they sounded right. Sometimes figuring out the word and sometimes...making a complete mess of it.
Half the words he only knew pieces of while the others he swore he knew, but nothing was coming up in his head. Reading was really frustrating.
Eric growled in frustration, a bit too loudly perhaps, and a bit doglike. This was getting to be more trouble then it was worth. ]
III. Wildcard
[OOC: Anything else you could think of /o/ ]

I canine bros! or something like that >.>
[ Yata had been here on an errand when the voice spoke from nearby, surprising him because for the most part his trips here had gone mostly unnoticed by the humans themselves. but spotting the blond holding a puppy made it pretty clear this wasn't one of them addressing him.
It's enough to stop him, skateboard tucked under one arm as he turns to give the guy a once-over. ]
No. I don't think so, anyway. Why? Should they be?
Canine bros all the way /o/
I found him, and in case I could find out who lost him. Bring him back to where he should be.

You found him? Huh. And he doesn't have a collar or tags or anything?

[He's flicking down through his phone just to get a general map of the area when he's approached. Adjusting the spiked beanie on his head, he looks at the other- god or shinki? One or the other.]
...No.... But if it actually belongs to someone... There'd be signs about it, right...?
no subject
He tilts his head before giving a shrug, adjusting his hold on the pup. ]
If it's recent enough they might not have time yet... It's fine just to check isn't it?
no subject
[A pause as he considers it, glancing at his phone again before finally tucking it away.]

[If it wasn't for regular humans not noticing Far Shore residents, Goten probably wouldn't be the only one looking at Eric. The growl is attention catching but he's not too sure if it came from Eric's mouth or stomach. He steps a little close, peering up at him curiously. He's either really mad or really hungry...or part dog. But he's not seeing a tail so...]
no subject
He shrugs, trying to calm down from his frustrating. ]
...Just fine.
no subject
[Seriously, who growls like that? Yeah, this blonde guy must be starving and that's the worst feeling ever. Goten has accidentally skipped lunch before, it's not fun. But if hunger is the problem, it's not like he can help-- Wait! Goten perks up and digs into his pants pocket. First the right one, nothing there, darn, then searching the left--aha!.]
Here! You sound like you need this more then me.
[Pulling out candy bar, he pushes it into Eric's hand. It's in pretty good condition considering its been in the kid's pocket, though it may be starting to melt, sorry. Goten loves candy and usually he wouldn't be so willing to part ways with the treat but Eric sounds super hungry. He feels sorta bad for him and Goten knows he can always fly by Izumo's for a snack or two,
or ten.](no subject)

No, I haven't. Did you find this little guy somewhere? [He reaches over, gently patting the puppy's head.]
Couldn't resist?
He was in a box just a short distance away. I couldn't leave him.
Nope
[Johan looks briefly surprised, scratching under the puppy's chin.]
Usually when a puppy is in a box, it means someone is trying to give him away. [He. Holds back the other part in which it also means no one wants the poor pup.]
<3 Well looks like your wish came true pretty quick XD
wish??
Ah well you said that someday you'll throw someone else at Eric

You shouldn't blame the sign if you're lost.
[ He's assuming you're lost and don't really know how to read the map right. It's not uncommon, especially if you're not quite sure where North is. ]

[ He had been so worried about finding out who this puppy belonged to, he hadn't realized just who he asked.
He looked down, holding the pup a bit more. Hopefully this guy decided not to explode this time. Even taking a step backwards just in case. ]
S-sorry...don't worry about it. I'll look somewhere else...

puppies
They behaved kind of like how Yuri did when there'd be an exam the following day or-- whatever. Point is, for a guy wanting to get away from 'home'... he could have done worse. Point is, a guy carrying a dog isn't unusual. Right?] Sorry? [Oh. It was... lost?] No, I haven't seen anyone searching for a... dog.
no subject
[ His face falls a bit, another person of not seeing anyone. Eric had been wandering for quite awhile, he was beginning to lose hope on finding his owner. ]
Maybe he really was abandoned...
Wildcard for the evening! :D
Ren yawns loudly as he walks into the center courtyard and starts across toward his favorite spot to dump his shopping. Maybe next he should go make himself a cup of coffee...]
I'm home~!
[Eric might not even be home to hear him, but he's going to yell the greeting anyway. The cats will hear it, at least.]
/o/
Eric pops out a few moments later, a small toy in hand and a bit frazzled looking. He hadn't expected Ren to come home so soon, and sure he was going to have to tell him eventually, but did it have to be so soon? ]
Ah...welcome back...
[ He fidgeted a bit with the toy, not quite sure how to start a conversation. ]
