[ Orihime hasn't changed out of her daywear just yet, but she opens the screen wall to her house and - upon seeing Lavi - smiles at him from just inside the threshold. ]

Mr. Lavi, wasn't it?

[ She opens it the rest of the way and beckons gently with a single hand touching the porch that he could join her. ]

I'm glad to see you look brighter from the last time I saw you, Lady Orihime.

I admit that I have never been quite so eager to be at the festival. I suppose it is all of this excitement brought on by your fellows that I simply cannot deny is different than in years past.

[ Then she leans to one side and takes a sip of her tea. ]

You had some matter you wished to speak to me about that was not related to the Festival, I believe?

[A pause before he gives a somewhat sheepish smile.]

No, not directly related to the Festival. You've said before you were able to make divine raiments, so I was wondering if you would be able to make one that...wouldn't turn into acid upon skin contact. [Lavi's expression shifts a bit, perhaps a bit apologetic for asking so much.] I apologize if this seems to be asking too much of you, however.

[She gives him a long pause.]

Begging your pardon, Mr. Lavi, but... is that not all clothing?

[She is genuinely curious, not saying no to something she doesn't understand or have enough context for, clearly. Such strange things these new gods and shinki have to deal with.]

[A pause.]

She has to wear special clothing since anything she touches with her skin immediately melts. It makes it difficult for her to wear anything that isn't from her home.

[Lavi looks increasingly sheepish, however.]

... Oh. Oh my. How dreadful.

[She has legitimately never heard of such a condition before, and to happen to a lady of all people... she assumes that a man would take far less issue walking around in the nude, but that's her own opinion showing.]

I have certainly never come into contact with such a... problem before, but there are other gods who burn or melt like water when using their powers. I have been commissioned for such things before, just not acid specifically.

I am... concerned if you were hoping for such garments tonight in time for the festival?

[[OOC: Lavi has discovered an opportunity for a Fetch Quest - err, Mission! If you would like, he would be allowed to research the kinds of materials she might need to make such clothing for Cardia, then procure those materials.]]

No, it doesn't have to be in time for the festival. I would just like to be able to present her some new clothing that she can wear.

[[OOC: This will expend a Prayer/Mission slot for Lavi. The conditions are as follows, similar to the White Day research prayer. Should he desire to include other characters in this Mission, you should reply to the Prayers post including those characters so that their prayer slots can also be account for:

* Get (or write) at least 3 legends or folkloric stories that Orihime might use as guidance for how to craft acid-proof materials, which do not have to be specific to clothing, although of course that will help her more
* Log of 20+ comments
* 300 followers or 30 exp reward for any of Lavi's selected participants with at least 3 comments in the log
* Follow-up Mission to acquire some of the materials as selected by Orihime
